Excellent service, very friendly. Steak a bit overdone, fantastic sauce on steak, side veg. dish really good. Chicken Abruzzi very good. Plan to bring friends for dinner. Our first time so not too much to comment on as to above. Coconut shrimp very yummy and different from other prep.
Was here with friends and we were able to talk and enjoy the food. Service was good as was food.
Although this is an Italian restaurant, I found the choices varied enough to please any pallet. The service was quick. Food was great.
For an Italian establishment emphasizing its home made processes, I was more than a little disappointed with their Stuffed Shells in marinara. The meal truly reminded me of store bought stuffed shells, with minimum ricotta used, and surprisingly bland. The Sauce reminded me of my....RAGU! The meat balls seemed to have just a bit too much filler (bread product). On the other side, their Abruzzi Chicken was excellent! A very sizable meal with properly sautéed chicken in a brandy cream sauce that was very pleasant and not at all overpowering garnished with fresh asparagus. SERVICE (Kyle) was exceptional. Very attentive and not intrusive. It was the service that we will remember and the reason we will return.....to give the pasta another shot!
We shared the Aunty Babs' meatball appetizer, which was most wonderful, as well as the Italian Wedding Soup (loaded and wonderfully spiced). Then, hubby enjoyed the apple pecan salad with chicken, and I had the Venetian Salad, for our main dishes. Both were huge and really excellent. Highly recommend all of it!
We picked this blindly from Open Table reviews while travelling in Wilmington. It did not disappoint! The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. It was a bit out of the way from where we were staying, but worth the drive!
I came here with my wife and 2 children a few weeks ago and we were very impressed with the food and with the story of the owner whom we spoke with when he stopped at our table. That is something that I love in a restaurant, when the manager/owner takes the time to check on you. Anyway, the food was outstanding and our server was fantastic. This visit we had Jessi, and she was also extremely attentive and pleasant and also took the time to make sure we were happy. The first time I was here I would have rated the ambience at maybe a 3-4, but this time they really stepped up their game with table cloths on all tables and nice candle lit dinner, simply amazing. You must try this gem!
Not happy about the experience we had. Service took very long. There was only one waiter and 6 tables. My table alone had 6 people. Food was not the greatest. Everything had a charred taste to it, even my sautéed spinach. How does that happen? My sister had to send her food back back because it wasn't good. I will not be going back. I saw they have been under new management this past year. It's ashame because the restraunt has gone down hill since.
I was here again, this time on a very busy night and I was just as impressed, if not more impressed than the first time I tried this restaurant under the new management. This is an outstanding restaurant.
I didn't like that they put us in ballroom and I made reservations. We had Jason he perked up when it was tip time. Our food came out slow. 2 hours start to finish. Got tiramisu...watered down. Had better from Acme.
