    Vernon’s was a fabulous venue from the onset. You are transported to the past from the time you knock at the door, til you are greeted and seated. Then, fast forward to the present to an upscale ambiance of semi private dining and waitstaff that are knowledgeable of the menu, affable, articulate and anticipatory of needs or wants. The food rivals that which I have had at some of the worlds best locations. If you haven’t been to Vernon’s, you are missing out on a hidden gem here in Albuquerque. Definitely put it on your radar for your next dining experience, special occasion, or visit to NM.

    Never again. I followed all of the directions and arrived ahead of my reservation. I was there at 5:55 and at 6:15, I had to text to let them know that I was still there. I didn’t get an apology or anything. I simply got, “just knock on the door.” There were scores of people who arrived after me, but went in before me and they never got the text. I didn’t have a good time the way I did on my last visit. I won’t be back. Too expensive to have poor customer service and inconsistent. ABQ doesn’t have many cool places as is….

    We took our family to Vernon’s for our sons 14th birthday! We had an absolutely perfect time! Our server, Josh, was outstanding! The food was delicious! The staff knew it was our sons birthday and made sure to wish him a happy birthday. He got a special birthday dessert and the manager gave my son one of the mini bats. He didn’t know but our son loves/plays baseball and was absolutely thrilled with the thoughtful gift! I highly recommend Vernon’s for any special occasion!

    My husband and I tried Vernon’s for the first time last night here is my honest opinion. It’s an experience everyone should try at least once. The staff try really hard to stay in character that goes along with the theme of the restaurant. While we were lead to our table we passed a beautiful open dinning area with live music so I was very hopeful only to end up in a small, dark and distant room. It honestly felt like a old bead room with a few tables and chairs. Now the food was amazing! Every single entree was well prepared. I’d recommend this place overall.

    The place was great and the food was goo. my only regret is that we did not inquire as to the price of the special of the day before ordering it. We were surprised that it was $175 for a 10 oz fillet when the 8 ounce on the menu was about $100 less.

    It’s refreshing to dine at a restaurant that is more aware of issues than you are. We didn’t even realize food was backed up but received a free dessert due to food taking too long. We thought our food came at a fast pace but we were grateful to the server to give us an accommodation thinking we were inconvenienced.

    So glad we decided to finally go. The food was incredible...the best I ever had. Be prepared for quite a bit of food especially if you get the prime rib. And mostly, just enjoy to atmosphere. It is really the ultimate dining experience.
