Our set menu base price is $175/person. No substitutions will be available as we are only preparing the select menu choices. We are allowing a maximum seating time of two (2) hours per table (2.5 hours for a table of four or more) in order to accommodate our many guests a special fine dining experience.     We had a great dinner, service was efficient and excellent and food quality was awesome. Not cheap but worth the value. The ambience is unique and fun with a live musician playing keyboard in the room where we dined.

    Excellent as always!!! Food was outstanding service was 100% Kristen our server was very knowledgeable... Our Asparagus con carne appetizer was excellent.... Never a complaint when we eat here Prices are definitely worth the experience!!!

    As always you get the best experience from Vernan’s! Walking through the building to your seats always excites us to prepare us for the excellent service we always receive. The food was amazing; the green chile ranch Caesar salad was perfect 👌🏽; the entree was beautiful while the filet mignon was so tender 🤤; the desert was complimentary for my fiancé’s birthday, Carmel apple pie with a chai whipped cream, and it was the best desert I’ve had in quite some time 🎂 We always enjoy ourselves here and everytime we go we just have more to add onto why we love it here! I will always recommend Vernan’s 11/10

    Overall good. Their “must order an entree or be publicly shamed” policy is a bit ridiculous. I understand if the entire party wasn’t ordering entrees, but to threaten to move our entire party to the bar because one person wasn’t that hungry was ridiculous. I lowered my steak purchase from a $98 steak to a $48 steak after the server made a big deal over it. Short sighted to say the least.

    Vernon’s is very very good! Excellent service and very cool atmosphere. Wish we could’ve heard the music they were good when we walked thru the bar area. It is very very pricey but perfect for special occasions!

    This was our first time at a SpeakEasy and Vernon’s did not disappoint. The entire experience from receiving a password to enter the restaurant to the 1920’s theme was outstanding. The food was on whole other level. Each course was delicious and fulfilling. I cannot wait to come back to Albuquerque and go back to Vernon’s.

    We went to celebrate my husbands birthday and it was wonderful! It was absolutely the most incredible dining experience!!! Wow the food was most likely the most delicious meal I’ve ever had in Albuquerque! I’m an Albuquerque resident. The tequila honey chicken was so savory and melt in your mouth flavor. The snap peas were so delicious too! And the wedge salad was just perfection finished with the most decadent apple crisp dessert! My husband had the prime rib was prepared to perfection was delicious! We will be going back soon! The whole experience and the awesome jazz band was so fun! What a special night! Highly recommend!

    Last night it was meh. The server was fabulous, his name was John. The food was not worth the price, except for the calamari appetizer, which was perfect. I did not lodge a complaint as I hate being that person. It was way too crowded for an intimate celebration. I don't think we will be going back. We went to Vernon's 8 years ago and it was wonderful. The lady singing jazz was amazing as was the service and the food.

    It's worth going at least once. Service is excellent -- professional and entertaining at the same time. Ambience is perfect for either a date night or a nice going-out with friends. Cocktails varied: amaro Manhattan and carajillo (+ tequila) were excellent, while sours were so sour that they were barely drinkable. (I make my own sours and am familiar with the canonical recipe.) We decided not to return the sours because the waiter had already let us return a steak that was far too dry to eat, in exchange for a very good steak. The food also varied: French onion soups were a little burnt, but the mussels with tomato and basil sauce were excellent. One steak was too dry to eat, as mentioned; the other was juicy and nicely charred. The pumpkin creme brulee rounded out the evening nicely. Fellow customers also varied. People going out with friends looked fun and interesting. Straight couples on a date were unspeakably boring (though that's the norm for Albuquerque couples); gay couples at least bothered to match their outfits. I was hoping to see more period costumes among the eaters. I would recommend going at least once. It's not clear to me yet whether it's worth a return trip. I can get steak just as good for 2/3 the price at the Hotel St. Francis in Santa Fe, with drinks just as good and a much smarter crowd. That being said, I shouldn't judge the customers just from one night.

    It had been years since I was last here because I live 100 miles away, but Vernon's did not disappoint! Food was fabulous, service great (even though they had a party of 50 there which we never heard!) and the spicy margaritas were heavenly. Unexpected bonus was a lovely three piece jazz band.

    Vernon's is are favorite go-to place for special occasions. The food, service and atmosphere are always excellent. We love one of the booths in the bar area and were fortunate to be seated there during our latest visit. The music, although very good, was a little loud and we found it difficult to have a conversation. Our request to move to a quieter location in the restaurant was quickly taken care of by the manager. We were moved to a table in the back area which was perfect. Thank you again for another enjoyable evening at your restaurant!

    Nothing but raves for Vernon's Speakeasy. The menu was extensive, the food was amazing, and the wait staff was the best I have encountered in a while. From entering the front door to exiting we received impeccable service. They offer a unique adventure combined with excellent dining. I would recommend this experience to anyone.     The food and service were exceptional. Our waiter seemed to know exactly when we needed everything. Steaks cooked to perfection. However, getting there, being in the middle of nowhere, finding the “door” , waiting for the text that said we were allowed to “knock” was very stressful. If it’s your first time going be prepared for that aspect.

    I was called about our experience, which was great. I forgot to mention that the service was excellent. Meals are a bit pricey but the quality is the best, the leftovers we brought home made for another terrific meal. We look forward to coming back. Thank you.
