food and service is fabulous, but they need to lower the A/C a lot!!!! its like a freezer in there! in 80 degree weather I literally bring a winter coat!

We were disappointed with the steaks. We expected them to melt in our mouth since the said that they age them in house. They (both steaks) were not tender.

We we were at the hotel for five nights, three dinners and five breakfasts. ALL meals were excellent and the service particularly strong. No complaints and no problems.

Service was awful. It appeared management didn’t staff well and only had a few employees to assist a brunch crowd. Getting additional drinks was quite the challenge. Just a lousy experience.

Brunch at Vernon's is always great! Our server was amazing, engaged and funny.
The buffet setup is done very well this time there was a Latin flavor to the menu and was great!

The food was wonderful. They had a couple of musicians playing which made for a lovely setting. They vary the food themes which is nice as well. Definitely will be back.

Mabrouk is most definitely a major asset for your restaurant organization. All the service people we encountered were marvelous and very accommodating. Our Christmas dinner with an old friend was most enjoyable - Thank you!

We were staying at the Marriott and didn’t want to drive so we thought we would “just” eat hotel food. Boy were we VERY surprised. The whole experience was top notch. The food, ambiance, service and noise level were excellent.

Thanksgiving dinner was excellent. Variety and very tasty.

This was our first visit to Vernon's and it was a special menu for Thanksgiving, so that should be considered. Upon walking into the restaurant I noticed a spectacular view with a water feature. I think you have to request that side of the restaurant as we were seated overlooking a rooftop. My next reservation here will definitely request a better view. It was a buffet style meal and the food was good. Turkey was moist and tasty. My big disappointment was the green bean casserole. I think they attempted to be too fancy. The mushrooms were big and unfortunately tough. The green beans were crunchy french style, cooked al dente. The other sides were pretty good to great.

We go regularly for their Sunday brunch. We had our usual server and she is wonderful. Each dish was seasoned well. The brioche French toast, biscuits and sausage gravy and frittata are exceptional. My husband also thoroughly enjoyed the Prime rib. Their honey goat cheesecake is the perfect end. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Attended Brazilian Sunday Buffet. Very excellent variety and quality. Friendly and attentive staff.

Very good food and a great view. The Brazilian inspired brunch was great. And their were interesting crepes made out of tapioca. Disappointed by the lack of attentiveness from the waiter and the small size of the kids table preventing all the kids from joining in the fun.

Been to another hotel for Sunday brunch and met a couple that recommended Vernon’s. And was disappointed that they were “closed” for Easter Sunday (later learned a private organization rented the space for the entire week). Made a reservation when I planned my next (family) visit to St. Augustine and so glad we went, EVERYTHING was beyond good. The only mishap was it took too long to be greeted by our server as this was our 1st time but someone did stop by to check on us and our server was apologetic and provided great service!
We will return again next time I’m going n town.

It was awesome!!

We celebrated my moms birthday at brunch which was fantastic. If you haven’t tried it, it is a must do and you don’t need to be celebrating a special occasion for a reason to join them - price is right, food is amazing, and the best part - they have a kids buffet stocked with food they will actually eat and even do activities with the kids while you enjoy your meal. Our server Chris kept the bottom less mimosas filled and Alex did arts and crafts with the kids. Lamb was by far my favorite along with the pasta bar with included scallops and shrimp.

We always enjoy brunch at Vernon’s. Food is so diverse and staff pleasant. Chefs talk with their patrons too. I like that.

The waitress & Chef were awesome! The food was great too. We are looking forward to trying a Sunday brunch.

It was really good, I had read other reviews and was skeptical because of the reviews about the service. The food was fresh and delicious. We had an amazing server who kept checking on us and refilling our drinks. The only bad service was the host (shorter Latina lady) she was really rude and it took forever to get seated but when we were finally seated we had great service with great food!

21st birthday celebration

Seated efficiently, thanks to OT. Very polite server, great view, one of the chairs at my table was quite stained. Great selection: biscuits n gravy, peppered bacon, omelets 2 order, grits 2 order-purple no less. Nice prime rib, mild horseradish, sweets for the heavy eaters. Priced 2 sell.

More things available than I mentioned, will return as I am local and appreciated the FREE PARKING.

Had a wonderful meal with wonderful service. Recommend for date night, foodies, etc.

Average restaurant, good but not great. Service was below average, although not terrible.

We love coming here and I Highly recommend it. Great value for the price and live music.

The food was great BUT our Father’s Day reservation was at 2pm and at 235, a staff member came around to tell us that they close at 2 and if you want more food, you better go get it because they are putting it away. We were a party of 6 and would have preferred a more relaxed brunch instead of feeling rushed.

There was a band there and they were great but our table was right by the speaker making it quite difficult to have a conversation.

Probably not going back for a special occasion.

Food and server were good but we were practically the only ones in the restaurant and it still took over 2 hours!
