    Vermilion’s Dining Room offers a seasonally-driven celebration of our Mid-Atlantic region and the myriad purveyors who call it home. Chef Anthony Chittum’s continuously evolving menus reflect the day-to-day seasonality of their work and serve as a love letter to the rich bounty this region provides. In addition to the a la carte menu, we're proud to offer the Farm Table tasting menu experience, a family-style three course option designed to showcase our menu in its entirety. For guests unable to access the upstairs dining room, we will happily offer this in the downstairs tavern and bar.

This experience is available to all guests dining in the downstairs dining room and at the bar. While reservations are encouraged for seating in the Tavern, our spacious bar is perfect for last minute get-togethers, happy hour revelry or a simple snack at any hour. Seating in the bar is available first come.

    Amazing food and service. I haven’t been here in 20 years, but so glad the experience was just as good and that this restaurant reopened.

    Vermillion printed personalized menus and gave Charlotte dessert for her birthday. We even got a window table upstairs, where it was relatively quiet. Absolutely wonderful! Charlotte’s favorite restaurant delivered!

    While the food and the surroundings are excellent, the noise level makes an otherwise lovely experience an exercise in having to put up with unpleasant blasts into one's ears. It's not conducive to a nice experience.

    Disappointed in our experience for our first time back after reopening. Server was MIA almost the entire evening. Stopped by to give us water and inform us we need to order everything at once, but then disappeared without taking drink order for 20mins. Food arrived and the runner was just calling out entrees unintelligibly like it was Denny’s. Server never checked on us after food arrived. May give it another try but probably not with friends in town.

    Oh man, this place looks like it’s going to be great — it’s beautiful, has romantic dim lighting, and smells lovely. But from the welcome to the seating to every other aspect of the service, it was really bad…not as professional as this place should be, and not at this price point. “No worries” as the perpetual response to thanking them for water or menus, no information about the food as plates were delivered to us, spoons missing when given soup. And it would be one thing if the food were delicious, we could have overlooked the bad service, but it was mediocre at best. Not to sound like “that girl”, but it was NOT worth the calories 😂

    The mahi mahi and the short rib mains and sides were very good. The rest of the menu was mediocre. Maybe because of the limited choice menu for Valentine’s Day.
