   Service was very disappointing and put a damper on the whole experience. When we arrived, the hostess seemed very reluctant to seat us outside, despite the fact that we had reservations and there was an empty table for 2. The manager said it was ok, though (he was quite nice and welcoming) so we were seated. After a short delay we were poured water - but only half a glass for me, and the server said she’d be right back with more. But it was a long time before she returned and I had long since finished my water and wanted more. She didn’t offer to tell us about any specials, so we didn’t know there were any until after we had finished and were paying our bill - when we overheard her telling the newly arrived party next to us about the special(s). We had to ask for napkins and silverware after our appetizer arrived. Our appetizer arrived and was almost completely consumed before our wine arrived. The server brought fresh flatware after our appetizer but then immediately took my butter knife back, saying I’d be better with a steak knife for the chicken. But then she didn’t bring the steak knife and I had to request a knife from the person who ultimately brought the chicken. (Ironically, there was no way I needed a steak knife for the chicken, which was wonderfully tender!) The food was terrific, but the overall experience was not what we had expected based on our prior meals at Vermilion and, frankly, not what we expect at that price point.

   Ok menu. Nothing particularly interesting. Brunch is disappointing. Wine list is interesting. Taste of food was meh.

   I went here with my wife for her birthday and they treated us wonderfully. In addition to the extra and free little surprises of food and sparkling wine, they seated us in a thoughtful location in the restaurant. The farm table value is unbeatable— all with fresh and flavorful ingredients from the area, leaving us stuffed by the end!

   We had a great dinner at Vermilion! The service was professional and super friendly. All the food we ate was delicious; the asparagus salad and sunchoke soup were particularly yummy. Highly recommend!

   The food was very bland and unseasoned. The chef actually tried the fluke dish I ordered and comp’d it due to the flavor. I was very disappointed in the overall experience because nothing we ordered tasted great.

   Everyone was very welcoming from the hostess to our waiter, and even the manager. We ordered the farm to table selection. This was a continuous stream of small and shareable portions of most of their menu. Overall it was a great date night experience for my wife and I. We will definitely go back.

   Brunch was ok. Seemed to be understaffed on the holiday. Hoilday brunch menu not great in comparison to the typical outstanding dinner options.

   Erik was a very friendly server, the mimosa, mushroom strata and avocado toast were delicious and the outdoor seating was just right for a late spring morning.
