Owned by Chef Charles Tutino and his wife, Jane Witkin, Verjus serves contemporary French/New American cuisine in a stylish, understated dining room decorated with works by local artists. The menu changes daily and seasonally, taking advantage of local markets and direct sourcing whenever possible. Verjus has a full bar and a list of excellent wines, primarily French and American, at surprisingly low prices. Verjus also features an extensive line of single malt scotches.

Verjus is a lovely restaurant! It is low-key elegant. The food is always delicious and beautifully presented. The service is attentive and friendly, but never overbearing. We recommend it highly!

My husband, our guest, and I had a fabulous Sunday night dinner at Verjus. We enjoyed a relaxing time after performing at a Society of Musical Arts concert just a few blocks away. The meal was spectacular - starting with a duck foie gras terrine and a delicious beet salad. All of us had the spectacular venison medallions in a red wine reduction and black barley. It was out of this world!

Went here for the first time. We were quickly seated and attended to by our waitress. The staff were very attentive and food was wonderful.

Delightful hostess/bartender/owner Jane made us feel very welcome. Wife was very impressed with her Cosmo! Our hats off to the chef/owner. We chose the Duck and Verjus Beef Bourguignon and both were excellent.! Delicious and ample portions. Wanted to order those yummy creamer puffs for dessert , but we’re both so full from apps and entrees, we were unable Definitely will do next time!!
