Bad service very bad
Great dancing and music, but food was just passable. Guest sent tuna back; pasta was ordinary. Disappointing.
Excellent food and service. Very noisy . Bottles of wine do not show a year so you don’t know what you are getting.
Alex was attentive and amazing; food was amazing and ambiance exciting.
FOUR MEALS WERE POOR AT BEST-WE WERE CHARGED ADDITIONAL $10.00 FOR SPLIT SALAD AND $7.00 FOR ACHOVIES ON CESAR SALAD. WE HAD NOT BEEN BACK FOR YEARS AND WILL NOT BE RETURNING. WE EAT OUT NIGHTLY AND THERE ARE MANY BETTER CHOICES INN AREA
This was one of our finest dining experiences in Naples Florida. The service was just outstanding. The food divine. The musical experience with Ghaleb was just amazing!
We highly recommend Vergina as a must in Naples.
Delicious! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the opera singer. Lovely evening
Not our first time here. It’s our go to place when we want great food at a great value with outstanding service.
We had an early dinner at Vergina on Sunday. The hostess was very pleasant. Our food was
excellent - some of us had the salmon and the chicken marsala. Both were so good that we would order them again on our next visit. Our server's name was Alexander. He was one of the best servers we have ever had. He was very helpful and pleasant. He stopped by several times to see if everything was right and to ask if we needed anything. We would definitely ask for him the next time we visit Vergina.
The service and food were very good in a fun atmosphere...certainly will return!
Excellent service. The servers rush around at super speed. Neighboring table complained they felt rushed. We did not but this is not a laid back place even though it was a rainy night and we were told there had been a lot of cancellations. Our spectacular server , Helka ? from Germany made the evening. Food was excellent and Fifth Avenue expensive. We enjoyed our time there.
Not sure, but we heard there was new ownership. The restaurant appears cleaner and updated, while maintaining the good things.... ie: music/dancing. There are a bunch of boxes (above) to check as to the reason we might be coming to Vergina's.... not one of the boxes are named 'Italian Food'. Thats why we come to Vergina's.... Italian Food.
We arrived early so sat in the bar and got a drink. The bar had a great guitar player. Really enjoyed his music. When we got our table they sat us outside. It was great for people watching and Being from the Midwest, we enjoyed sitting outside in the fresh, warm air. The food was excellent,
Waiter was slow and forgetful. Took us 2 1/2 hrs to eat dinner
FOOD WAS GOOD BUT NOISY
RESTAURANT WAS UP-DATED AND LOOKS NICE
Visit with my mother
My first time! ... and last. The server was awesome. The managers were arrogant. The pomegranate martini was tasty. The food was just okay ... the fish was dry. Outside area is not sufficiently heated so we went inside ... that was so loud due to the number of tables pushed closely together and the poor acoustics that we couldn’t even think. We asked for our food to be wrapped to go. I tend to dine repeatedly at a small number of high end places that have Bordeaux on the wine list (so many restaurants don’t!) but I thought I would give Vergina a try. Never again.
I had a reservation and was told there wasn't any setaing outside.... With a reservation was told there was a wait. We got sat on the side of the building and food took forever
This restaurant is always nice. But we bought our friends from New York here for the early dining special. They raved over it. A definite "come back to" restaurant. Our waiter was
fantastic. I was impressed. Definitely had their "A" game on that night. thanks
We are there at 4:30 so we were able to have happy hour 1/2 price drinks and meals!! Great food regular portion size.
A 5th Avenue favorite of ours. Excellent location, easy access, great food and service. They are large enough that last minute seating is frequently available. Great when your guests decide that they want dinner out!
As always, Vergina never disappoints! A pricey restaurant, but the food was exceptional. Wait staff helpful and very friendly. It's always a go-to restaurant when we're in Naples.
The food and service were excellent. We were seated right away.
Outside dining in 5th Avenue can’t be beat.
Good service and good food.
It was a b-day celebration which I mentioned in the booking. No recognition of it though. Would have been nice. It was the 86th.
Service and all personnel just fine. Food was poor. Wouldn’t return. Bread was stale. Clams oreganata were mostly bread and bits of chewy clams. Fried calamari was fine
Great service one of our favorites when we are in Naples fla
Great pasta dishes and very delicious veal dishes
Went for breakfast on Sunday! They were busy but service was good, as was the breakfast menu and food! Hostesses remembered our names (from Open Table reservation) I was impressed given how busy they were!
This was our second time dining here. My husband loves their Bolognese. We went specifically for that menu item. We sat inside where it was horribly noisy and then got a server who spoke with an accent and could barely hear him. He then asked for a table outside and we were accommodated but received angry glances from the host. Two meals came out correctly and one came out incorrectly. Instead of bringing my salmon they brought a pasta dish. They had to bring it back. When my salmon dish came it was outstanding! Focaccia bread is wonderful! Would go back again but a little wary of the service.
A little over priced for what you got
Basically, a lovely lunch, despite the bug in water and the inattentive server😕
Excellent dinner outside on the patio. We had not eaten there for several years but it was as good as we remember. Worth the drive.
We were there for lunch and the food was good. BEST PART OF THE EXPERIENCE WAS THE SERVER, DANIEL. He was knowledgeable, personable, and quite engaging. There was a young manager there that was very good as well. Certainly worthy of another visit, this time for dinner.
Our server who was very good suggested an entree that my husband and I both got that he said was his favorite. Not so much for us. The other people that were with us had outstanding meals.
The food at Vergina's is excellent. There were many good options on the menu. My husband had the Ave Salad with grilled salmon on it ; salmon was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the chicken marsala. The only disappointment was that my meal was not consistent with my request - substituting a vegetable for the mashed potatoes; the waiter suggested asparagus. Instead of getting the asparagus as a substitute for the potatoes, I got the asparagus as a substitute for the spinach. I told this to the server who brought our meals but he apparently did nothing about it as neither he nor our waiter never came back to the table to apologize or correct the error.
Go with a fresh pasta dish and the outside seating.
Hard to get service multiple times throughout our meal
Sea bass was over cooked but they took two dinners off the bill.
