Food was well prepared and tasty.
Cocktails were horrible! Don’t order! Had to return two very sour and very different cocktails and opt for wine, which was also below par
Horrible experience. Never again!
Marina was a pleasure
The restaurant was VERY Crowded. Very little space between tables -- we were actually touching the chairs of the table behind us. The music was very loud coming from the back, making it very difficult to speak to the people we were dining with. The food was OK, not great and the service was mediocre-- Not sure I will return
We had a nice evening. The only downside was that our waiter was so busy we had to constantly flag him down for requests. We ordered wine for our food when we placed our order and it arrived halfway into our meal.
Fantastic service. Mauro was a phenomenal server! Cannot wait to return to this restaurant.
A very busy evening, we were seated on time, very good waiter, food came out at the right time and was very good.
Excellent Italian food and great outdoor table space 🌴☀️
Four of us were there on a girl’s trip. We ended up dining there twice and loved the food and the ambience! The lemon drop and Keylime martini’s were excellent!
We ordered 2 house salads with shrimp on them. Server brought us 2 house salads with chicken. Reordered. Server brought 1 house salad with shrimp and 1 house salad with chicken! Waitress was terrible. Never asked if we wanted drink refills. No adjustment to the bill. Will not go back.
Great meal, service and wine. Kids loved the cotton candy dessert . We’ll be back!
if i could give more stars, i would! unbelieveable everything! will definitely return next time we visit Florida!
Very busy. Rushed. Menu restrictions due to peak season. Out of 4 menu items at 6:30. Chef did not allow any changes to menu no matter how minor. Not up to the standard we enjoyed at our last visit.
Service was terrible. Our waiter didn't stop by to ask how the food was or offer any parmigian cheese until our meal was almost done. We never received a second order of bread that we requested and our water was only refilled once. Very disappointed!
Worst dining experience in years. Entire dining strategy is to turn tables. They never refilled my water glass. They tried to pull dinner plates two or three Times. The waiter acted out out when we ordered dessert and coffee. This place doesn’t need me. It was packed. I would imagine every dining patron feels this way. Too bad. They don’t get it.
Not very happy with service this go around😞 They also forgot that is was a Birthday celebration and brought the check after being reminded!
Birthday. Terrible service and the restaurant was so loud. Food was average. Nice atmosphere though
I have been to Vergina many times (celebrated birthdays there, too) but unfortunately this time the food and the service were very disappointing.
We had to wait more than half an hour to order aperitifs/drinks and when the food finally arrived it was cold.
The ambiance is great if you like patio seating and busy places but otherwise the experience has been disappointing.
First of all, I like this restaurant which is why I chose it for our Easter meal while my parents were in town. However, don’t ever book on a holiday. We had a reservation, but even though there were at least 8 empty tables inside, we 5 were seated at a table for 4 with a chair stuck at the end. To make matters worse, our table was in the walkway between the kitchen, bar and outside. You’d think being in a high traffic area we’d at least get service. After waiting 20 minutes for a waiter, we flagged down a shift manager so we could at least get some drinks. When they arrived, my drink was wrong. No big deal. After another 20 minutes we FINALLY saw our waiter and ordered. Food came out and my meal was wrong. I didn’t get my meal until after the table had finished with theirs. I decided to let the manager know about our experience and all he kept asking was what I wanted for it - drinks? desert? I told him no, just wanted to let you know what our experience was. Instead of being concerned that we had such a bad experience he seemed annoyed that I let him know instead of taking a consolation prize. Very disappointing.
We had a table next to the sidewalk on Easter Sunday and it was perfect for people watching. The only reason for not giving an excellent on the service was they were jam-packed and doing their best under the circumstances.
The waiter didn’t write down our order and got it wrong - frustrating. Also we went at 445 to get half price , then they informed us it was not good on Easter .
Loud background music in patio. Food was just ok and waiter was much more attentive to larger party next to us - obviously chasing a big tip. We felt as if we were invisible thru most of the dining experience.
We were sat at a table off the sidewalk next to the door where servers were throwing silverware etc in bins. I asked that they close over the door so that the sound was not so loud.
Service was slow when we arrived - when we ordered a drink the waiter wanted to know then if we wanted an appetizer. We said we would order when our drinks arrived. When the drinks arrived we ordered an appetizer but he also wanted to know if we wanted to order our entree. We then felt rushed.
I ordered the Veal Piccata but did not want the mashed potatoes - I would have just liked more veggies but I was told by the waiter that I couldn’t make any changes to the menu because there were only 3ppl in the kitchen.
Not sure we will go back. You pay a premium for good food and service but you can’t get what you want.
The restaurant was fairly empty at 3pm this past Sunday so this really surprised me.
We had a 2pm reservation on Easter Sunday. They were out of 3 entrees on the dinner menu?? Including the lamb dish! My husband had the Chicken Parmesan and it was uncharacteristically awful. The chicken was so dried out and tough - I’m not sure why he didn’t send it back. Normally we have a great dining experience ~ but, we were sorely disappointed!
We were there for lunch on Easter Sunday, and it was fantastic. We had requested to sit outside due to having my mother with us; we wanted to socially distance from the diners inside. They very nicely accommodated our request and our server, Danny, was terrific. All of the food was delicious- Caesar salad, eggplant parm appetizer, pear fiocchi, chicken Marsala, pork chops and veal piccata. The best tiramisu ever! Thank you to Vergina!
Very Nice experience.
The food, service and ambiance were all excellent. The only reason I didn't give it all 5 starts was because they were out of 2 menu items and we had a lunch reservation at 11:45. We were some of the 1st customers in the restaurant, so it was a little disappointing that they were out of 2 menu items.
As always, amazing food, service and ambience.
We went to Vergina to celebrate our last night in Naples visiting family. We wanted an energetic 5th Ave atmosphere with great food and it did not disappoint! Waitress was excellent and so was the food. Calamari appetizer, pastas and pizza were awesome, Brussels sprouts were perfect and the wines by the glass a delight.
I expected better service, bigger portions, and more options for appetizers for a restaurant down on 5th Ave. Our server did not have much personality. We waited quite a while to order while other tables who sat down after us put their order in. The whole experience was just ok.
Good experience as usual. Drink prices are a bit inflated but the wine list is extensive.
Our server was not very customer centric. We needed to order when she was ready and receding the bill and a to go box seemed like an effort. Our reservation noted we were celebrating a birthday and even with gifts on the table it wasn’t discussed. Thankfully the food was very good and was plentiful.
Perfect place to enjoy delicious food and people watch.
Inside dining was windy cold...doors and windows open. Crowded table seating.
Vergina is decent. Have been numerous times. We usually eat outside.
The band / music is way to loud and distracting while trying to eat Italian food anywhere inside
We came to celebrate a 26th Birthday! The service and food was terrible! There was glass in one of our drinks. We left feeling very dissatisfied and frustrated with the evening!
We made a reservation for 8 and were seated immediately inside, which was our preference. The food was great as was the service. There was live music which was very loud for a nice restaurant. Our experience was great aside from the music.
Our server was awesome. Very attentive staff. Great food, popular place!
Service was outstanding. Food was very good. We were seated outside and it was cold. Will definitely go back.
Birthday dinner. Food is amazing!!!
