Food was great, service was very slow and forgetful
So disappointed. Ok, so the menu is VERY short but the quality of the food is not the same. Both hamburgers and the chicken were overcooked. We have eaten at Verde many times but will not be back.
Wonderful food and service. The view on a day like today makes the visit spectacular
Amazing food and beautiful views! A must-eat spot in Miami.
I took my mother and law and mother for Sunday brunch and they were thrilled. My mother in law was worried about heat but we sat outside and it was lovely. The food was amazing. My mom, who was visiting from Boston, said it was the best brunch she has had in a very long time. Great service and great food.
I would definitely recommend this place, very beautiful view, food was very tasty and nice presentation.
Staff was very friendly, and just in general I love all the hospitality they had with us.
Such a cute brunch spot! Food was delicious and the photo shoot after was bomb!
The main problem was that we had to keep asking for water (3x) until I finally got up and got it. The server served tepid coffee which we sent back and then they delivered hot coffee where the recipe was not followed (and I like strong coffee) so we had to ask for hot water and keep diluting it. In summary, our server was not on top of things, and we were not demanding, just wanted to basics covered.
We went to have a nice Easter Brunch with the family.
Although the food was very nice, we were rushed into ordering the food, eating and leaving the restaurant because they were booked. Which we thought was very rude.
Going to a restaurant is not only about the food but also about the whole experience.
They have reduced their dinner menu. My favorite was gone. Would maybe eat elsewhere downtown next time I visit the museum.
The ambiance is the star. Outdoor tables, fantastic water view in the beautiful building of the PAMM. Worth the deep breath and quiet moments in there. We ordered two dished but the "chicken under a brick" was the best!
I've been to Verde many times, I think their Burger used to be very good, this time was kind of dry and the meat was bland. It's a nice location, I think the pizza will be my go to when visiting and their fries.
Very Very cold inside and they were not very helpful in accommodating outside.
Made reservations at the restaurant to be sure to get a table after a visit to the museum. We could sit outside (table was ready upon our arrival), and the waitress came promptly to take our orders.
We ordered from the brunch menu, and the food arrived without much delay. While the food itself was tasty, I was disappointed with the portion/price relation:
Shrimp and Grits consisted of a huge portion of grits, which covered the entire bottom of the plate. The sauce was a smear across the top of the grits (ca. 2" wide), with 3 shrimp on my husband's plate, 4 on mine... very little substance to the sauce itself. Price: $17.00
Another dish was the smoked salmon with egg ... again, a huge hunk of bread, salmon was o.k., the egg was 1/2 boiled egg!!! Price: $16.00
I was really disappointed with this experience. If I have friends asking about the restaurant, I would recommend it only because it is nice to sit outside on the veranda overlooking the port of Miami, maybe sipping some wine....
I´ve been to Verde many times before and I always want to go back. Sunday´s menu is delicious. Don´t miss the margarita pizza. We love to sit outside to enjoy the breeze and the view. There is a huge and beautiful park right next to the Perez Museum, we always take our dog after lunch, and the kids play ball. If you are around at 4:30 pm that´s when the cruises start sailing and It´s wonderful to watch.
It used to be better.
...it was a lovely meal celebrating one of my best friend’s birthday. we enjoyed delicious “green” gazpacho, kale salad, a margarita pizza and a complementary delicious dessert. the view was relaxing as was the atmosphere. ( p.s. it was delightful to enjoy a meal where i got married almost 4 years ago)
THE FOUR OF US LOVED THE RESTAURANT BUT THE MUSEUUM DIDNT APPEAL TO US
Very good menu. Server extremely helpful and competent and patient. The visit to the museum was enhanced by this dining experience.
I celebrated my birthday here, with a group of 20 people and it was my favorite birthday yet. The waitress as well as the restaurant did an exceptional job accommodating us all and attending to all our needs. It was a plus going to check out the museum after our lunch and knowing it was right there.
We always love going to Verde while in Miami. Last year invited some friends to dine with us and was so embarrassed when we had to send four out of five meals back because our food was cold. Decided to go again this year as we always love walking around the grounds after we eat. Had an 11:00 reservation and was seated immediately. Our server was slow to come to our table for drink orders. Even slower to return with our drinks. Apologized and said there were only two servers. We ordered the chicken club and some sort of egg dish baked in a skillet with peppers and onions. The chicken was over cooked and dry. The egg dish was only ok. The highlight was the zatar bread served with the egg dish. Maybe next time will just come and walk around the park.
Had a great time at PAMM and capped it off with a late lunch at Verde. Service was excellent the drinks well made and the food was light fare but really good. You can have waffles and eggs or salmon and steak among other items. Everything was fresh and tasty!
As always the setting was spectacular. The food above average. The service was excruciatingly slow. It was as if all the wait staff went to lunch themselves. We never got to order coffee and had trouble getting the check.
Love this setting - wonderful location and views into the cruise ship harbor. Service is attentive; food is fresh, tasty - great choices for lunch. Triple check with your server on portions - for example, Tuna Poke is generous portion for an appetizer.
Great wait staff and delicious food.
The ambiance alone is worth the trip! I took my husband as a Valentine's day brunch before heading to the Science Museum next door. The location and view is perfect. The food was good too and reasonably priced! Our server was spectacular. We opted for the bottomless mimosas and it was so worth it! Would definitely recommend.
The view is 5 stars, and the burger was pretty good. The patty was nice and juicy, and the fries crispy. We enjoyed the sangria with cinnamon notes. $45 seemed a little on the high end, certainly without knowing what wine (and wine spectator rating) was used..
Great place for lunch when in the area. Bridge noise a bit distracting at times but overall a great lunch spot.
We went on Feb. 14, when Verde was hosting a Valentine's event. Service was still good, but the shrimp were undercooked. The specialty cocktail, in honor of Cristo's Surrounded Islands - "Exhibition Pink ..." was sheer delight!
The view when sitting outdoors is wonderful and it is quieter when sitting outside.
I would go back at another time to see if there is improvement.
Enjoyed a visit to the Gallery and ended with a nice lunch. Eggs Benedict were delicious and well prepared. Fish sandwich was also great.
We were visiting the Museum. Lovely experience!
This is one of my favorite eating spots. The food is good, the wine is good and the ambiance is lovely. Not only a lovely view of the bay but the contemporary setting inside is relaxing. Though I think for many people the prices are high: for me it makes the day downtown at the museum a "day out".
Service can be improved. Had to ask for things such as salt, olive oil, a juice a few times before they actually brought them.
The frittata is a little spicy but so flavorful...and the sweet potato pancakes are too. Highly recommended!
Beautiful ambiance, healthy & delicious food, excellent and
Very nice small restaurant at the Perez Museum. Nice selection of salads, small plates, sandwiches and pizzas. great place to eat before or after you tour the museum.
What a lovely place for an outdoor lunch with friends. Good food. Good service. Beautiful setting for a post-lunch walk by the water. A gem.
Every time I visit Verde, the service is worse. I don't know if to attribute this to the busy holiday season, or to it turning into a tourist destination. We were given a table right next to a door that kept opening and closing and bathing us with a super cold breeze from the inside. We asked to be changed and host said that once we were seated, they were not allowed to change us. I can now attribute a cold to our table location. The food took a bit too long for it being sandwiches and a burger. I hope they get their act together since VERDE was the perfect compliment to a PAMM museum visit.
