Haven't been here in a while. Last time I thought the Perez salad wasn't that good and a very skimpy on the shrimp addition. Things have vastly improved. Perez salad was excellent quality lettuce and all other ingredients, very fresh, and there was a good portion of chicken(hope it's the same with the shrimp). Tasted my friend's omelet, which was very good. Club sandwich, also very good. Unfortunately, they no longer offer Zak's bread basket, and don't serve bread at all, which is crazy, especially when you are eating a salad or an omelet. I did ask the waitress to toast some bread since there is bread for sandwiches, which she did.
Been eating here since it opened, for lunch, brunch. Menu seems a little sparser than it had been. Nonetheless the six of us found dishes to eat. Service was good, food tasty, though two who had the lobster bisque complained of over salting and the mussels seemed salty (not spicy) as well...too much chorizo perhaps.
We always find this location heavenly.
We very much enjoyed this venue. My only recommendation would be adding some items to the menu which are more appealing to the general population.
Fathers Day was perfect here! Amazing!!!!
Great overall meeting place for lunch!
This place has deteriorated and I can not recommend it anymore. It was more than half empty on the terrace and the surly hostess reluctantly gave me the table I wanted with a water view and away from foot traffic because I had my small dog with me. Tables around me were not cleaned once guests left, people with bikes rode among the tables and pets were running free to the dismay of my leashed pet. Since Open Table claimed that there was no lunch time slot available my reservation was for 4:30pm - bad time to go when staff does not care any more !
The Frittata I had ordered was ok and far too big and the cocktail Mule came in an aluminum cup - unappealing presentation !
Could not wait to leave!
Went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Very nice service and outstanding ambiance for a couples Sunday brunch or a family gathering. Very enjoyable!
Appreciated being seated although we arrived well ahead of schedule. Server Lily was attentive.
Wine at $55 per bottle and $12 per glass is over priced especially for the quality of the wine (Albarino), although the menu items were reasonably priced and well presented and tasty.
Menus were disgusting, dirty, crumbled —bad 1st impression.
Chicken Under a Brick was superb —out-of-this-world delicious!
Just one of the most consistent places in town. I don't think you can go wrong with a Stephen Starr restaurant anywhere in the US; I am just tickled he's at PAMM in my very own neighborhood.
What did I love? The bucket of Bubbles for $50 was a creative idea; a bottle of La Marca Prosecco two carafes of purred jucie (mango & blood orange) and then a larger carafe of Cranberry. We know the Prosecco is only about $12 bucks but it was the experience, the presentation, together, made it a cost effective move since a glass of bubbles for 3 was more than half the cost of the bottle...then it becomes a no brainer.
What did we eat - well, for sure we absolutely, without a doubt devoured the chicken under a brick - yes, that's correct; it was served with crispy yukon potatoes, chimichurri and watercress covered the entire plate. Two of us ordered the same thing - this is one meal ($21) that you cannot go wrong if you are hungry. Juicy, succulent, tasty, hearty - you name it, the chicken was screamin'. I loved every morsel.
Okay, enough for now - okay, you cannot say enough about the ambiance - outdoors, on the Biscayne Bay on PAMM's beautiful terrace filled with beautiful people from all over the world. This is a place to go and dine well, sip, people watch and, of course, see art.
Amazing time with friends and family .
Best Bloody Mary .
Loved the scenery.
The place is really beautiful offering breathtaking views of the bay. On the other hand, the food offering is a little limited.
Verde never disappoints! The ambience, the waterfront view, the superb service and the quality of the food make it a crown jewel of the Magic City.
Verde is a favorite. Love the ambiance and the view. Chicken Under a Brick never disappoints. Watermelon Mule is delicious and a perfect MIAMI cocktail anytime.
The salads are very small and for $20 with protein the plates are appetizer size.
Best bet was the burger and the Farron salad.
Kids pasta could use some protein.
Ive eaten at Verde many times with friends and family and out of town guests. The first year it was open it was great, after that the food has just gotten worse on every visit. I go back because I love the museum and keep hoping the food will improve. Well I decided with my friends we will not be back for the food, probably more for coffee or a drink. Our server though was fantastic and very apologetic for the food.
The service good but slow .
The food average.
The location is spectacular and great for spending the day .I will go back even the food if the food was average.
The kids and adults really enjoy the museum. And the Frost science museum
Great brunch and outstanding ambiance!
Very good lunch place outside art museum. Food was surprisingly excellent. With good family friendly options like pizza and salads.
gorgeous view outside at this museum cafe, great service, very limited lunch menu,
food was good,
My Crispy Grouper featured a very dark and dry cut of fish....not a pleasure to eat....and I love grouper.
Limited menu; food is overpriced and not very good. Poor service. But at least it's a nice view.
We have eaten at Verde many times since the restaurant has opened. This was our first bad meal. A huge disappointment. The food—pizzas, pastas, and salads—was all bland and simply bad. There was nothing I would eat again. I hope this is not the new normal. I had to apologize to our guests and was deeply disappointed. I hope this was just one bad meal.
I had visited Verde before - but not for brunch. The menu for brunch was varied and the portions were good. The server offered a bread basket since it was brunch, and we said yes. Later, we found that our eight half-slices of bread (four full slices of bread) with jam and cream cheese was billed at $8. That was a little deceiving. Also, they are not getting an "outstanding" rating because my reservation was for 11am - which is their opening time. They weren't ready at 11am and we were seated at 11:15am.
The food was delicious and the server was helpful and knowledgeable .
The location is very special .
Good as always even with a new menu.
Lovely setting and delicious food with appealing presentation.
What a lovely place to have brunch! We had reservations for Sunday at 11:00am the morning of the Miami Marathon (which we hadn't known about until 2 days earlier). The restaurant called to confirm our reservation and to tell us that the streets would be blocked. I so appreciated that advance notice. It was a little dicey getting to the museum and restaurant, but we made it, and were the only ones there at first. We chose to sit outside, and had a marvelous view of the water, the cruise ships and the park. It was a bit windy so we had to hang on to menus and napkins, but still very nice. Food was excellent and MORE than generous portions. My frittata was huge and I took half of it home. There is a nice selection of different brunch items, all moderately priced. We truly had an enjoyable meal.
Absolutely fantastic! Great view, friendly staff. Great place for brunch.
I have been there many times, but the place is getting worst each visit.
This day we had a very slow waiter. The whole lunch took us 2:30 hours. The potatoes with caramelized onions, didn't come with onions, even after asking for the onions they put regular salty onions, not the caramelized one. The chicken on the brick was raw and missing spice. I remember this chicken were one of the best some time ago. I hope they take care of this kitchen because its a beutiful place to go.
Unexpected good museum restaurant
Very good quality food
Very good cooked
Great view of the channel
We had a most charming server. The food was excellent. We have been to Verde several times and are always delighted with the food, ambiance, atmosphere etc. We shall return in the future.
I have been in this restaurant several times but this time it was not as good as before! The brocolli soup was good but cold. The taco trio was ok! Menu options could be changed from time to time. Outdoor seating, despite the heaters, was not confortable because of the wind!
I’ve eaten at Verde about six times. Each previous occasion was excellent. Today, the food seemed very uninspired, poorly flavored and the presentation was hardy special. Definitely won’t be eating at Verde again.
we had a great lunch. salad and a Margherita pizza. portions were good. I added grilled chicken to my salad and it was delicious.
one of my favorite things about going to either of the museums is lunch. do book ahead because sometimes there are no empty tables.
Perfect date night! Beautiful views and delicious food!
I've been at Verde several times, with good overall impression except for the last time I went. This last time OpenTable allowed us to make a reservation for 4.45PM, and we did it. At 4.42PM, the Manager was calling us to say that we should be exactly at 4.45PM because the restaurant closes at 5PM. I don't think they should accept reservations at 4.45PM if they are going to put pressure on the clients like that... We ordered mussels, a chicken sandwich and fries with caramelized onions. Both the sandwich and the fries were stale, onions were inexistent. The mussels were very good.
We made reservations for my husbands birthday, we arrived on time and still had to wait 45 min for our table. The hostess stated she would text when the table was ready and she never did. Our waitress wasn’t very friendly, she seemed to be managing too many tables. The food was good but not out of this world. I got the margarita pizza, it had three leaves of basil. My dad got the steak and eggs which was also underwhelming. My mom got the shrimp and grits which she loved. My brother had the brunch burger which was great. My husband had the mushroom pizza, that was pretty good too. The cocktails are on the stronger side and they have a nice beer and wine selection. The prices are reasonable and the view is completely worth it! The museum and grounds are very beautiful.
We loved our lunch at Verde. There were no outside tables available but the inside was still very nice. Service was excellent. The rainbow carrots were a show stopper. People stopped and took pictures because it was such a beautiful presentation. It tasted as good as it looked. Our daughter is vegan and she had so many choices. Only negative was the parking lot was fun and we had to park so far away. Worth the walk!!
