Verde - Perez Art Museum Miami Ratings and Reviews
Verde is the restaurant at the Perez Art Museum of Miami (PAMM). It has a pretty varied menu with appetizers, salads, pizzas, and sandwiches. It also has a nice wine list. We had pizzas - the Margherita, and the Butter Nut and Fig. Both were excellent - lots of cheese and tomatoes on the Margherita and lots of squash, dried figs, gorgonzola and hazelnuts on the other. We sat outside and, while it was pretty empty, the views and comfortable temperatures made for a nice couple of hours. This was my 4th or 5th time there and I will definitely go back. The restaurant is also convenient to the new Frost Science Museum and Museum Park.
The good thing about Verde is that the service, cuisine and prices all join up to play the part well.
The noise level is also appreciated as you can actually have a real conversation about the art you just saw in the expositions.
Whether you sit inside or outside you can have a good time.
Convenient choice for lunch if you're visiting the Perez Art Museum or the Frost Science Museum.
The arugula salad with carrot hummus was excellent. We also tried the chicken club sandwich and the vegetable frittata and were happy with both choices.
This is a very kid friendly restaurant so you should expect a noisy lunch.
The restaurant is under construction, which is unappealing to start , but having eaten well there before, we gave it a chance. The food was uninspiring, and overall not very good. The fried tomatoes were swimmming in cheese and tomato sauce and the fish tacos were as dry as a bone! The serevice was subpar and the entire experience a great disappointment.
At the museum, but magnitudes above museum dining. A worthy destination in and of itself. Quality of food and level of service always consistent but never boring. Just enough seasonal variance of menu to keep it fresh and pique interest in stretching ones culinary horizon.
We visited the PAMM museum and decided to have brunch. What a treat! We sat outside and ordered coffee - which was nice and strong! Then, Fritata and the Pancakes to share. The portions are big! We were not able to finish either meal. Super friendly Hostess (that is rare!) and the wait staff too.
Would highly recommend - take some time, enjoy the covered area.
We were the only ones in the restaurant, table of 4, it took more than 20 minutes to have a server come to the table, food delivery the same. Food tasty, pizzas cold. We've been to Verde many times and keep hoping that the service will be as beautiful as the ambience. Not yet
Although the restaurant was only half full, the staff seated a family with three young children next to our table of four adults. The children behaved very badly and we were unable to converse or enjoy our meal.
There were four of us and two of the meals were served a good ten minutes before the other two. So while the first two waited for the remaining two to be served, their meals became cold.
The food was not very good. Sandwiches on stale bread. We couldn't get or keep the waiter's attention and went for a long period without anything to drink and again without refills while dining.
Beautiful view, dreadful service and mediocre food.
Since they opened, this restaurant keeps delivering a great menu and excellent service. I love the ambiance and the view. We went with out towners and they were delighted. We ordered chicken, farro salad, maní tacos and sprouts. Every dish was perfectly well done. The service was impecable. Reservations are suggested as it gets crowdy.
We arrived for a 1:30 reservation.......at 2:30 .......still no food we were quite embarrassed for our guests....we asked the waiter to check on our food, he sent over a "manager" who said......."your food is up next"
Eggs benedict arrived cold, but after an hour we just wanted to get out of your BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT....
My order of salmon crudo came out undressed (no trace of citrus vinaigrette), and looked like five tiny pieces of lox that were scraped off of somebody's bagel earlier in the day and reserved until I ordered the dish hours later. Bonus: If you like watercress, there was about a pound of that on the plate disguising the "crudo."
