Martin our server was excellent as always
My boyfriend & I visited Miami from November 15-18, and we had the opportunity to eat at Verde- Perez Art Museum for Sunday brunch. The hostess and waitress were extremely welcoming and we were seated outside with a gorgeous view of the water. I started off by order the spicy verde margarita, which had a nice kick to it, and my boyfriend ordered the iced irish coffee. For food, the pizzas caught my eye and all sounded so good but I really wanted breakfast food so I went with the eggs benedict with smoked salmon. My boyfriend wanted the chicken under a brick but ultimately ordered his favorite breakfast food: steak & eggs. The eggs benedict with smoked salmon was so fresh and delicious, I am craving it again as I write this! The steak & eggs were also great and my boyfriend was impressed with the tasty red pepper puree. I highly recommend eating here for the friendly service, delicious food, and beautiful view.
Fabulous service. Excellent salads and lovely view.
You go for the views and location.
The salad was fine. The service is unpredictable but they’re really nice and that goes a long way!
It was a beautiful day and I must say, I would go back on a sunny day in a pinch.
Always a great experience with great food and great service.
Food is very good. Service is good but takes a long time to get the bill!
Took friends of out of town. Hostess was super nice. Food amazing. Server was ok but inattentive.
Views and location are unbeatable.
Always a good choice!
I like almost everything about Verde. My only two flies in the ointment on Sunday: my eggs benedict were lukewarm by the time they got to the table and the waiter was loud and pushy. Nothing awful about either, the eggs benedict with salmon were delicious, I told the waiter I could her him perfectly in spite of the noise, no need to shout. Otherwise, beautiful views, good food, very relaxed atmosphere.
Romantic place for a late lunch or light early dinner.
This is a wonder vista with a good menu and good food. The service is another story with lack of attention by a roving manager and the wait staff assigned
The Pérez Art gallery was wonderful and it was a bonus to enjoy an outdoor lunch on the terrace with an exceptional view of Biscayne Bay. The food was tasty and we had tuna poke and salmon mains.
Child friendly, beautiful setting at the Perez Art Museum, amazing pizza, great service and delicious healthy food.
First course came very late and main course came a minute later .....
waiter poor wine and water on the table not into glass
Hidden Gem in the city. I love the view from the patio. It's very unique and beautiful!
Initially the receiving waiter was very rude and was a bit aggressive/demanding when we asked to change tables since it was too close to the kitchen and without any view.. However when we sat down at our new table, the waitress that served us was phenomenal. Food was nicely presented, fresh and tasty. The fresh fruit juices came in a sealed commercial bottle (Express Juice) so clearly they were not made fresh on site but it was cold and good. Food was overall good. The restaurant faces the water and we could feel a lovely breeze on a hot August day as we walked inside.
Food was super tasty. Service very good. View amazing.
Great lunch with a million dollar view
Food was delicious! Server was great and very personable! The mushroom pizza and the beet salad were so good. Great place for children. We went to the Science Museum, took a break to go to lunch at Verde and then back to the museum. Beautiful Day!!
Friendly service, beautiful ambiance with water views, and delicious food.
Fabulous as always, what a perfect day. The sangria was delicious and the food was super good, the service was perfection. So glad to live in Florida, worth the trip down from Ft. Lauderdale, and such a great museum to wander, besides.
TASTELESS FOOD & SLOW MOTION SERVICE!
I had eggs Benedicts with lobster. The eggs came over cooked, on a tough blini (I think it was meant to be a blini) and some grinded lobster. The service was too slow and looks lost. To finish the meal, the coffee came burned and cold.
I'm sure I'll never come back!
Nice place, good food, excellent service. Better if you reserve a table because it gets busy, also nice view
Supposedly they have a great happy hour. Not the case but the ambience was great and the limited menu tasty.
Beautiful location but service was not good. My burger was uncooked and, after we sent it back, was charred. Kind of crummy for a birthday brunch.
Why this place isn't packed on Thursday nights when the museum is open late, is really beyond me. It's a great spot with well thought out selections. And oh, the view of the intercostal and the outdoor sculpture is such a plus.
Kitchen ignored server’s instructions to serve my sauce on the side. Server offered to have the dish remade, but I was hungry and felt it was ok enough with the sauce in the food.
Really enjoyed the beet salad and cheese grits! Our server Amanda was great!! Prices averaged about $15 per dish with a few higher, and a few lower, and the portions are very nice sized! Beautiful view of the bay ...relaxing area.
Verde was clearly not prepared to serve diners at the Members 4th of July celebration. The food service was so slow that it ruined our plans to both have dinner and see the fireworks. It took 35 minutes to get our salads after ordering -- salads! We were the lucky ones though -- we got some food. Two neighboring tables left without getting anything except apologies. Pathetic.
An absolute disaster. After an hour and fifteen, our appetizer was Delivered to the wrong table. We could not get more drinks and had to go to a bar elsewhere in the facility to get in and a drink for a table. They were completely overwhelmed given that it was a special event and completely on able to accommodate the person who had come. The food was fair and the food was expensive. Normally I love going to the restaurant; however, this night was terrible.
Great food, service, and experience. Prices very reasonable. Ate outside and looked out to Biscayne Bay.
We enjoyed our visit.
Restaurant was quite....
Surroundings, as always, were lovely.
A little overpriced, not a place to go to before the theater since it closes at 5. Waitress was outstanding.
Excellent service in an exquisite ambiance.
Family and child friendly. Delicious food.
Even though our server messed up our order, the manager was quick to respond and the server was kind enough to make up for it. The food was delicious, but a little over priced. The pancakes I was told were large, but they were 2 normal sized pancakes, aside from that everything was exceptional. I just wish it hadn’t rained so I could enjoy the view. Will be coming back again when it’s not raining and will order the pancakes and not share with the hubby this time lol
Beautiful spot, I always bring visitors here. Lots to do before and after you eat too.
Service was excellent. Location is beautiful. Food was delicious and presentation was perfect. Will definitely return.
So glad you enjoyed your visit! Hope to see you again soon!
I’ve been to Verde many times over the years and usually have a good experience. This experience was unfortunate.
Simple dinner. Pizza and salad. Pizza was soaked in oil and only the crust was edible. Likewise, salad was soaked in Caesar dressing tot he extent that was inedible.
Server was pleasant and efficient.
I’m hindsight, I wish I had chosen a different dinner location.
I won’t be returning.
I apologize you had a bad experience, we never want guests to leave unsatisfied. Hopefully you will decide to choose to dine with us again and we can turn that perception around!
My chicken and waffles was fabulous. Once we were sat, it took
Glad you liked the dish, they are a wonderful new brunch menu item!
We had lunch at the Verde restaurant at the Perez museum. The ambiance was beautiful but the food left a lot to be desired.
