Since 2009 Verde on Smith has been downtown Brooklyn’s neighborhood eatery featuring Italian cuisine complemented by friendly service and warm ambiance.

We are a casual, and romantic neighborhood Italian Restaurant serving Italian COMFORT food with a balance of fresh traditional dishes and unique chef-prepared specialties. We focus on attentive service in a cozy and relaxing setting -- we intend to give you the attention and precision you deserve without the formality of a downtown restaurant. We call it hospitality!

Our menu is characterized by fresh, simple, but flavorful ingredients – the essence of Italian cuisine specializing in fresh & delicious Italian seafood, pasta, appetizers, and tasty desserts. This place is astonishingly packed on the weekends, yet the food remains subpar, and the drinks are watered down. The service is great.

We had Brunch on Easter Sunday and it did not disappoint! The brunch menu will please everyone with selections from traditional breakfast, french toast, to benedicts, spaghetti carbonara, to steak frites, and more. We got a carafe of peach bellini to share and that was the perfect compliment to the meal. Don't sleep on the steak frites with chimichuri sauce (our table joked that we could literally eat that sauce with ANYTHING it was so dang good!), the steak was shockingly tender and flavorful. The atmosphere was not too loud and was spacious and comfortable.

The food was delicious. Our waitress was super attentive and kept refilling our cups. We will definitely be coming back.

Amazing place. Everything was great from the food to drinks and service. It was a group of 7ppl and we all enjoyed our dish.

Came here for brunch with my fiancé and had a great time. Food and drinks were delicious and promptly served. Servers were friendly and always available. Very cozy atmosphere. Great value for my money. Will be returning soon.

came highly recommended by my neighbor, and it certainly lived up to the praise. It's now one of my favorite spots in the area. The food and service were outstanding! The octopus and crab cake are absolute must-tries! I’ll definitely be returning.
