Great view of the greens and delicious brunch. Veranda is the place to be seated. Fabulous outdoor lunch spot.

Our meal was good, great location, would come again.

Family birthday dinner everything was great

Our food came half an hour later and they taste okay. The location is good but the patio is recessed so the view is partially blocked.

A bit disappointed in price and quality. $35 "center cut" ribeye was nothing more than what we usually buy at Vons. The appetizer braised short rib stuffed potato skins were totally bland. Such a shame cause the outdoor ambiance is really nice. Guess you're paying for the view cause the food sure wasnt worth the price.

Went there to meet my sister and brother in law for dinner, great food, our server Ricky was good, I found our second bottle of wine took awhile to arrive and our empty plates were in front of us a little too long, food was terrific I would definitely return to this restaurant.

Service was excellent and food was delicious. I recommend the breakfast buffet, huge made to order omelettes and delicious fresh baked pastries. The little muffins are to die for.
It was raining that morning but the view of the mountains and golf course were still breath taking.

The Veranda was an amazing experience. Even though it was raining they automatically moved our reservation indoors. It was mine and my husbands anniversary so our waitress Vicky made sure we had a very special experience. She even comped us dessert! We cannot wait to come back on our next weekend getaway.

Request to be sat by the golf course. It is beautiful!

Perfect as always! The only things I would suggest is having more than one special a night. Other than that the service from Chris Stone was amazing and he kept the heaters going so we were warm and toasty.

Have dined at the Veranda numerous times and it’s always a good experience. The waitress always remembers our name. The food is always good and prices are reasonable. We live in the neighborhood so it’s only a short drive. A neighborhood gem.

I passed on our disappointment to the front desk upon checking out. Not happy with the server we had as not attentive to us! Never around to see if we needed anything throughout! Don’t know where she was with just us as patrons for a long time! Very disappointed with the whole experience! Also, may I make a suggestion with the prime rib. The mash potatoes were hidden underneath the prime rib and for $28.00, can the chief display a plate more inviting! Potatoes and 2 slim carrots did not please us! You can do better as a Resort! Not particularly appealing ! Maybe that is why no one suggested the Veranda, but wanted us to dine at the Other Restaurant!

I dont drink alcohol so I cant comment on alcohol experiences. But lunch, dinner, brunch, casual, biz, large or small group, scenic, all of my experiences have been great!

This is a place where you want to sit outside on the patio. It was raining the night we were there, so patio was closed.
It was miserable sitting inside.
The place was noisy. We were seated right next the kitchen. Constant activity, impossible to relax. Meals were cold and under cooked.
Just awful that night.

i've been going to this restaurant for many years. seems to have a management issue now in that we waited 15 minutes for a server while there were only a handful of tables with diners and numerous employees standing around. finally i got up and asked if there was a server for our table and we eventually got one, although he was not very attentive during our visit.

i do like the venue and the food and perhaps the problem was the manager that night.

My ususal choice of sandwhich was not up to par.

Always great! Have dined here for two decades. Highly recommended.

Seated immediately and ready to order within five minutes , we left after 25 minutes, bus staff said they would get "her" to help us, one blond-haired (pony tail tied to the side) waitress walked past us multiple times, never took order, restaurant nearly empty: only three other parties in restaurant at the time, never will return. We were there for special New Year's dinner.

As usual outstanding service and ambiance. Christmas Eve early dinner outside on the patio with lovely views. This restaurant is one of our favorites and never disappoints. Had the prime rib which was on the special Christmas menu and it was delicious. We always enjoy dining here at the Veranda.

Great food, service and setting. Even if you're a local, you feel like you're in vacation. Good value and fun exploring the rb inn.

Overall a “meh” experience. We made the mistake of sitting inside. Would have liked to see our waitress a bit more. Needed stuff like silverware, water, wine, our check.
Disappointed with the food. A baked baked potato is hardly a masterpiece. No toppings. No sauces for the chicken.
Won’t be going back.

Service was slow...we sat for 20 to 30 minutes before we were acknowledged by a server. Once he arrived, drinks and food arrived in a timely manner.

We had a wonderful lunch with friends for the holidays. Food was fantastic, we weren't rushed and it was a beautiful day! Couldn't ask for more!

To be able to walk into a crowded restaurant and have your table waiting for you is 1st class. I appreciate the professionalism the staff have and it's carried out throughout the meal. The menu is just a little edgy which allows me to try something a little different

Very expensive. This particular night I waited a long time for my food and check. Other nights were better. Specials weren’t discussed, nor were they in the menu. I didn’t care for loud live music.

The patio at Rancho Bernardo Inn is lovely offering a great view of the golf course. The service has always been excellent and food I always good.

Always wonderful! We love it for any occasion. The ambiance and view are so serene and enchanting. It’s our go to place.

I took some business clients here for an authentic California experience. I was a little concerned since it's November and the evenings can be chilly. No worries, as they have plenty of patio heaters which did a fine job of keeping us all comfortable. The outdoor seating, ambiance of the fire places and light live music, as well as an exceptional meal, got me a lot of points with my guests! The wine list was great and the prices were reasonable. We'll definitely use this as a venue for future business events, and I've already told my wife and some of our friends this will have to be a "date night" spot!

We were invited to eat at The Veranda a few weeks ago with our realtors. We liked the food, and we loved the view from our patio seats. It was quiet and very conducive to conversation. Even with the live music in the background, we could hear each other speak. The food was unique and tasty. We liked it so much that we decided to bring out of town friends to the restaurant. They enjoyed the evening and said it was a very good choice. None of us had alcohol that night because we were busy the next day, but it was great to be there for a good meal in a great atmosphere. We also really liked our waiter who was very good at taking care of us, and we specifically asked for him the second time we visited.

We had Chris Stone as our waiter and the attention to detail on his part was wonderful. We never went without drinks or bread and tapenade. Our food was served promptly and served hot. Although we only ordered happy hour, we were still treated with utmost care and attention. We send all of our out of town client to Veranda and when they get Chris Stone as their waiter, we ALWAYS get a great report back. Thanks Veranda
