Major social event in Argentina, the asado (an open-fire barbecue) marks a time when friends and family gather around traditional dishes and spend an afternoon catching up. Amazing!!! The level of service was impecable and the food amazing
Our waiter, Roberto, was so patient and accommodating to us!!
Food was lackluster and very over priced. Service was poor —inexperienced (or disorganized) staff.
Considering the high profile of its head chef, Francis Mallmann, the quality of the food was good but not outstanding as expected. Service was very good but overall the experience was not worth the price.
The steak was overcooked and the staff did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation.
Anazing meal! Epanadas and steak milanese the best!!
Delicious food! We started with the pear and buratta salad and the grilled octopus. Both were fantastic. We then had branzino and a skirt steak. They were both amazing too. The steak was so rich and flavorful. It was cooked perfectly and the branzino was light and healthy. I can’t wait to go back again soon
We went there twice this week, and the first time was really good, our server Marina was excellent, steak and fish as well as the apps were very nice. So we booked the second time, and were anticipating another pleasant visit. And we were hugely disappointed. First of all, we booked 6pm dinner on open table and they told us that the restaurant only opened at 6:30, blamed open table, no apology, and offered us to wait at the bar/lounge and get called when our table was ready. 35 minutes and a few drinks later, no one seemed to care to invite us back, so we walked over and inquired about our table. The greeter asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside, and when we chose inside option, we were told that no shorts are allowed in the indoor area. Although we were dressed pretty formally (less the shorts), I understand that everyone is entitled to their rules, the trouble is those rules are nowhere to be found on Open table, plus they didn’t care about taking our money at the bar/lounge area. You can imagine the extent of our disappointment. We were asked to wait for a manager who 10 minutes later told us reluctantly that he would make an exception for us, however, subsequently, put us at the table right at the entrance and kitchen door where service people were going back and fourth all the time. Half the restaurant was empty and we asked to be moved to a different table but the same dry and unfriendly manager told us that no other tables were available. Needless to say, the entire experience was a huge disappointment especially given $400+ bill we paid a few days earlier. There are plenty of great places for food, and there is no chance I am coming back here or recommend it to anyone. There is no place for arrogance and lack of manners when it comes to high end restaurants.
Outstanding!
It was horrible!!!
Every time we did a reservation using open table , they said that our table is out side. A completely direfent mood and space than the one we are supposed to be.
In reservation there isn't this
Option for us to choise, and honestly , out side isn't a place that we want to be.
I have to fight and argue for so long to be seated in .
Thanks
Had a party of 10 and while the service was good two dishes needed to be sent back due to being cold and upon return it was just thrown on one side to heat up and they flipped it like we were not going to look under. For a high end top dollar place I would expected more than that. Appetizers were excellent and well plated, place had a good vibe with music but be aware its attached to the living room bar which depending on time the music from each area can compete with each other, I would say to pick one for entire room.
Loved it. Love the hotel. Love the music. The Argentinian skirt steak is fantastic. I recommend going later in the evening and then dancing in the living room after dinner.
We had booked Los Fuegos a month before as we were staying at the Faena Hotel and had read glowing reviews. It is a beautiful space, well lit and pumping lively music. Excited to eat there. Unfortunately, they seem to overbook, and we were relegated to the terrace. Sort of like being sent to Siberia. Besides the food, the terrace had no relation to the Main dining room. They even close the door between the two spaces. The terrace is a lovely space during the day; however, at night, it is quite dark. Absolutely no ambience. Also, it was a rainy, windy night and literally 5 minutes from getting our entree, it was cold. What a disappointment. My advice is that if they try to seat you outside, go somewhere else.
Not as advertised. Expected much more for the price and expectation. Travel often and this was barely above a chain hotel steak house experience let alone fine dining.
Everything is always great there
Lots of issues with service and food, made reservation through open table and was 10 min late and they released my table for inside(plenty of tables inside), Outside was ok but wanted to go to lounge which you walk into from inside seating. Manager at desk said no problem walking into lounge after dinner(there is always a line to get into lounge). Ordered the meat sharing and the food was over cooked. No service to check on if we needed bread, more water another drink or if meat cooked well. There was service if we needed desert...also could not get into lounge in spite of the representation of manager at door of restaurant. Careful when going here...
It was amazing. From the service, the wine, the food, it was all 5 star. My husband who doesn’t love seafood fried the octopus and actually loved it!! I’d recommend this to any friends visiting the area!!
It’s was amazing
Whilst it was a decent steak, it is overpriced. Also, the atmosphere inside is not conducive to being such a high level restaurant. It looks more of a bar than a high-end restaurant.
Beautiful place, the service was espetacular and the lamb rack was sensacional!
This was not our favorite Restaurant At All! First the Sommelier recommended an awful cheap wine that was so terrible that I had to ask him if he had actually ever tasted it. The food was not impressive at all and the service was not either. I would not recommend this place ever no will I visit again.
Anniversary
Amazing service!! The plant based options are delicious
Dinner made for a memorable evening. Service was outstanding
We had many lunches at los fuegos which was really good but this time it was missing many varieties
It was the first time on the Sunday Brunch, but los Fuegos delivers consistently an amazing experience!
Delicious salad bar, empanadas, and the meat... never disappoints at this place! Also, French deserts worth three calories!!
One server for 6-7 tables, everything was so slow. Terrible service. Delicious tomahawk steak. Nice ambiance. And they forgot to bring out my husband's birthday dessert. I requested it one week ago. You guys had ONE job to do. Bring out his surprise bday dessert and you guys didn't.
They wanted us to eat on the patio. It was too warm and the patio is not an attractive area. I insisted on eating in the main dining room which is where I expected to eat when I made the reservation. They basically have a policy of first come first serve for the main dining room. Their advertising does not make that clear. Part of the Los Fuegos experience is the beauty of the Faena and their restaurant.
I’m not sure I would go there again based on my experience. But food was excellent!
Incredible service and great vibe
We loved the ambiance in the restaurant. Our waiter Stefano was great with menu recommendations and service. We started with the empanadas that were delicious. My husband ordered the skirt steak and I ordered the branzino which both were amazing. After dinner we sat at the bar with Jose our bartender mixing up cocktails and exchanging great conversation til closing.
Thank you! What a wonderful way to celebrate my dad’s special birthday!!! Service, atmosphere and food - amazing and perfect!
We had a wonderful dinner at the hotel and received excellent service. The food was delicious too. Can’t wait to go back.
Our second time in less than a month. The service and the place are amazing, the food delicious. BEST EMPANADAS ever. The only thing nobody liked was the beef milanesa. When you think of milanesa, you think of a light, thin piece of milanesa, not a really thick piece of meat. It was weird snd a waste of a good piece of beef tenderloin. That was the only thing we did not like.
Very good. Excellent night
One word: WONDERFUL!
Food and service was exceptional. The dining room design is delightful. A real destination must do while in miami.
My only concern was that the music and live band was working against the design aesthetic. Cheesy and not at all interesting. Like a cruise ship.
But apart from that, an exceptional experience. The waygu steak is unmissable.
Excellent service; excellent ambience; extensive wine list; great food.
Must mention - it states business casual, however I saw three different parties where men were wearing t-shirt, jeans and sneakers.
Even better if... food was less salty (and I appreciate salt!)
Need to work on service! But vibe & food were great.
Faena is a special treat!
Fabuloso el ambiente la atención y la comida
