We went to eat at Los Fuegos and were severely disappointed. We were sat outside where there were a TON of flying bugs (not just mosquitoes) - on the table, napkins, etc. The hostess was kind enough to accommodate us and move us to a table farther from the greenery, but it only helped a bit. At the end of the night we each had been EATEN ALIVE (40 bites just on me…). I know some will say, what do you expect eating outside in Miami?, BUT they should be over-treating the outdoor dining room to prevent this sort of disturbance. As an avid outdoor eater, I have never had to fight off flying bugs and mosquitoes like I did at this expensive restaurant. In addition, the food was just good, not exceptional. Very predictable for a high tourist area, but given the price point and reputation again, one would expect WAY more. Try something else or stick with the tried and true spots!
Service was impeccable and food was amazing. By far the best restaurant I have ever been to.
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. Food is pretty good, some Argentinian classic food and servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups. Highly recommended!
Service was excellent, food was delicious
Fabulous super club experience with live music, banquettes, cool cocktails. Service strong, really caring. Food is terrific with lots of plancha and grilled options that give the whole meal the vibe of being at a good friend’s house (the type of friend with a 5-star chef in the kitchen). Blows the socks off of other hotel restaurants. Make the reservation - the later the better if you want to be part of the action - and go!
Marjan was absolutely outstanding. He made excellent recommendations and was warm and professional. Our experience was a pleasure because he took such great care of us.
Best restaurant in miami
Amigas de visita viniendo de diferentes países, nunca nunca Faena te decepciona!
Muy decepcionado por no poder preparar la carne al término solicitado, solo se requiere un termómetro y claro usarlo ...usarlo .
Love it, perfect ambiance
Classy place and vibe
Excelente en todo!!
The service was super slow. We almost got up and left a few times. We had to get up and find someone to help us about three times and had to find someone in order to pay our bill. The steak was deep fried and breaded. I know Mallmann is known for his Argentine take on beef and I've been to his restaurants in Argentina. This $50 steak was not good. I love the Feana and it is fun to walk around. Love the bar. I would not go back to this restaurant however. What a shame!
Los Fuegos is a fantastic restaurant located in the swank la Faena hotel.
Pros were the Outrageously delicious eggplant Milanese, empanada, blood sausage, ribeye, and domino potato.
Cons were a wildly loud table next to us (laptop open??), slow service, poor signage (you should be able to find the restaurant easily in the hotel, and butter was cold/tasted like the fridge. We wanted the herbed butter like it’s served with the ribeye dish, but it was lightly sprinkled on top, strange!
Other room for improvement: The spritz was great, but the smoked tequila cocktail wasn’t very good and wasn’t very Smokey. The la faena wine, for the price, was not as good either.
For some it may be everyday dining but it was indeed a special occasion. We had been wanting to visit for some time and this meal did not disappoint! Food was exquisite, service above and beyond. Pair that with a beautiful location and fabulous wine list and you have some magic. Thank you for a memorable meal.
Loved the place, food was as advertised. Our server gave us the best service!
Great food, nice vibe and atmosphere artichokes where my fav.
Excellent experience. Will definitely be returning again soon!
Service was a little spotty as we had to ask several times for additional ice for our water glasses.
Nice staff, and very good food & wine. We would go back if we visit Miami again.
Ambiance here is awesome - beautiful decor and outstanding service! The Living Room entertainment (frank Sinatra night) was top notch. We started with the sliders and shishito peppers - they were both a 5 Delish!! Our main entrees were very disappointing- the Branzino was flavorless and not the whole fish as I was expecting. The tenderloin Milanese was also not very good - cooked to the right temp but nothing special. The he meal was VERY expensive for not being outstanding. Our server and bartender were tremendous!! I recommend coming here for the ambiance and only order a couple apps and drinks.
Super ambiente!!! Comida excelente!!
Fantastic food, ambiance and service! We will definitely go back next time we are in town. The hotel is beautiful and an oasis in Miami Beach!
Sunday Brunch Parrilladas was perfect! Delicious and great Fun for all at our table.
Upscale and fun. The meat platter for 3 is amazing and live music program really cool.
The food and the service were superb. The overall feel of the lounge and dining area is very retro and gorgeous. I cannot say enough about how attentive and knowledgeable the staff is.
Bad service, didn’t have bread or anything to accompany drinks and bruschetta. The food was good but not what we would expected from Francis Mallmann.
Worth every single penny. This was one of the best dining experiences I've had after the pandemic, and probably in general. Everything was flawless from food to service. Our server, Dunja, was incredible and had wonderful and on-point recommendations for our likes. We had both empanadas, roasted cauliflower and the filet milanesa; for dessert the panna cotta and dulce de leche pancake. All wonderful, full of flavor, texture and complexity. The roasted cauliflower was the best I've ever had and so unique. The ambiance just elevates the whole experience as well. Kudos to Faena Hotel - most of Miami restaurants are hell; but this was just perfect.
Great spot. Second time.
Very good food
Incredible experience!!! Can’t wait to go back 🎉 service on point, drinks delish, every food dish was perfect. The waiter went the extra mile to make me happy on my birthday.... great spot!
So, the service here is very hit and miss but the food is absolutely phenomenal. If you are able to get Chris as your server, make sure you request him. Every subpar service night we've had was because we had a different server (Chris is seriously the best).
The meat platter is the probably the best steak I've had in Miami & I would go as far to say competes with some of the best steakhouses in the country. The meat platter cannot be missed - it's an excellent way to try every offering they have on their menu. The appetizer tuna/sourdough is literally one of the best dishes I've ever had and could drink whatever broth they put on it for breakfast, lunch and dinner (make sure you save your bread for this broth, you'll thank me later). The salads are wonderful & fish dishes are also fantastic.
The wines are ridiculously priced but there is a malbec by the glass (the cheaper one) that is actually super reasonable by the bottle - the wine is great & goes well with any of the dishes on the menu. The martinis are incredible and if you can snag a seat outside looking in at the chandelier in the main room, you've gotten yourself one of the best views (ambiance wise) in Miami. Bon appetit!
We’ve been here many many times and have always loved everything. This time the meat was raw and the service was terrible.
Great location & ambiance in a world-class hotel. Food is good but not extraordinary. I took a star off because they got busy & attention dropped.
I was stunned that after spending hundreds of dollars for dinner on a Sunday night they couldn’t find room for the four of us to have a drink after at the bar.
