Los Fuegos – Faena Hotel Miami Beach
Major social event in Argentina, the asado (an open-fire barbecue) marks a time when friends and family gather around traditional dishes and spend an afternoon catching up. It is as much about tradition and being together as it is about food. Our Sunday family style menu features a variety of dishes typically served among families on weekends.

Exceptional in every way!
Excellent food and service
Porterhouse was outstanding. Skirt steak had some of the nest beef flavor I have ever had and tenderness was perfect. Sides and desserts just ok. Service was impeccable.
Live music from “the living room” was an added bonus. Beautiful setting
Love this restaurant!
Great time and atmosphere!
Incredible vibe. Outstanding service. Sadly my food was not up to par. I had a the snapper. First bite, my mouth was on fire. After searching for the cause, there was a huge pile of jalapeno peppers hiding under the fish. I like jalapeno peppers, but not that many, and certainly not with snapper. My palate was totally smashed after that and I could no longer enjoy the very expensive and incredible wines we ordered as my mouth was on fire for an hour. The octopus appetizer was very good though. I would go back for the atmosphere and service which were outstanding, just wont order the snapper. Also tasted the artichoke appetizer, it was just ok. Not a fan of hummus with steamed artichoke.
Overpriced and flavorless meal.
As good as it gets. Stellar service, atmosphere and food. Amazing.
Absolutely fantastic service, attention to detail and great hospitality. The food is good of course, but I feel the ambience, the setting and the wait staff make the place. We will go back again and again.
Restaurant sat out party over 1hr 30mins late. Ruined what was otherwise supposed to be a celebratory evening and after literally confined 3x in the days leading up.
The Faena and the prices they as customers to pay is supposed to be to superior service in everyday. They failed miserably to live up to that expectation for our party and many others who’s evenings they ruined.
They clearly can’t accommodate the number of reservations they take and aren’t up to the task of properly servicing their customers.
Don’t go at lunchtime full of crying babies!!
Servizio non all altezza. Una brutta esperienza. Al momento della prenotazione assicuratevi di essere alloggiati nella sala e non in veranda.
Spectacular place, we go often! Sunday brunch hard to beat anywhere in Miami! Only today first time feel not welcome by very unpleasant hostess, in a front of restaurant! Should off complaint, but we were to many people! Will definitely mention to the management next visit!
We would defiantly expect better reception as members of Faena family!
Beautiful restaurant! Feels like a step back in time to when dining was special and elegant. Food was excellent and service top notch.. this will be added to my favorite list of Miami !
L’atmosfera all’esterno non era granché , nieoa che fare con la sala interna
AMAZING! Wow. What an incredible meal with energetic ambiance and great staff. Although we had to wait 45 minutes for our table despite making reservations in advance, it was definitely worth the wait. Every dish was made so delicious and savory. Oh and don’t forget dessert! It’s definitely now one of my favorite (if not my favorite) restaurant in Miami!! Will definitely go back again.
Great for large and small parties
Longish wait.... but worth it
Not sure why it was half empty this time of year - 12/23, when the miami beach area is packed. Waited in the bar, which is beautiful with a great vibe. Upscale. Seated on time and very nice restaurant. Food and service all good. Branzino had crispy crust and lamb chops grilled nicely. Maybe it gets going later - we were there 7:30-9:30. Or maybe because it was very expensive - but then a lot of places down here are overpriced. I liked it. Would go again.
From the moment we stepped we were treated like royalty. The general manager took the chair out for me, introduced himself and let us know if we have any questions we can speak with him. Our waiter was extremely attentive, provided great drink and dinner suggestions. We shared the octopus appetizer which was delicious, a little small but perfect it was served with a garlic sauce and tomato confit. The main I had the Branzino cooked to perfection on a bed a yogurt with a hint of garlic and a quinoa salad. My boyfriend had the rib eye which was a very generous portion with a side of potatoes served with domino potatoes. It was out anniversary and we were full but they insisted on providing us with a complimentary dessert. The restaurant is gorgeous with cool decor, leopard sofas and 2 stunning chandeliers. I will definitely return reccomend it to my friends and family. Just a note, please ask to be seating in the main dining room, the Veranda is separate and doesn't have the same vibe as the main dining room.
I have been to Francis Mallmann restaurants that are wonderful but this is not one of them. The service was mediocre to poor, the food very hit or miss (sent back an appetizer but the mains were great), and the noise level is excruciating. From the start, the vibe was off and front of house management seemed lacking. For these prices, one expects the service and comfort to match, but unfortunately, here, they don’t.
Restaurant has two rooms, main and kind of veranda that is much less attractive that main room advertised by restaurant. We wouldn’t book our table if we knew the table we will get is on veranda. Maybe it’s better if bookings were separate for each room. Was quite a disappointment, won’t come back again tho, maybe just for drinks in bar.
The food was very good. Outside terrace was comfortable with a nice view of the pool. The service was a little slow, although the staff was very polite. Perhaps they were understaffed or maybe 2.5 hour lunches are the norm. The guy selling sunglasses at the table next to us was weird but I don't do SoBe that often so maybe that's the norm too.
Overpriced! 20% service was included and the service was terrible:(
Amazing!!! The level of service was impecable and the food amazing
Our waiter, Roberto, was so patient and accommodating to us!!
Food was lackluster and very over priced. Service was poor —inexperienced (or disorganized) staff.
Considering the high profile of its head chef, Francis Mallmann, the quality of the food was good but not outstanding as expected. Service was very good but overall the experience was not worth the price.
The steak was overcooked and the staff did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation.
Anazing meal! Epanadas and steak milanese the best!!
Delicious food! We started with the pear and buratta salad and the grilled octopus. Both were fantastic. We then had branzino and a skirt steak. They were both amazing too. The steak was so rich and flavorful. It was cooked perfectly and the branzino was light and healthy. I can’t wait to go back again soon
We went there twice this week, and the first time was really good, our server Marina was excellent, steak and fish as well as the apps were very nice. So we booked the second time, and were anticipating another pleasant visit. And we were hugely disappointed. First of all, we booked 6pm dinner on open table and they told us that the restaurant only opened at 6:30, blamed open table, no apology, and offered us to wait at the bar/lounge and get called when our table was ready. 35 minutes and a few drinks later, no one seemed to care to invite us back, so we walked over and inquired about our table. The greeter asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside, and when we chose inside option, we were told that no shorts are allowed in the indoor area. Although we were dressed pretty formally (less the shorts), I understand that everyone is entitled to their rules, the trouble is those rules are nowhere to be found on Open table, plus they didn’t care about taking our money at the bar/lounge area. You can imagine the extent of our disappointment. We were asked to wait for a manager who 10 minutes later told us reluctantly that he would make an exception for us, however, subsequently, put us at the table right at the entrance and kitchen door where service people were going back and fourth all the time. Half the restaurant was empty and we asked to be moved to a different table but the same dry and unfriendly manager told us that no other tables were available. Needless to say, the entire experience was a huge disappointment especially given $400+ bill we paid a few days earlier. There are plenty of great places for food, and there is no chance I am coming back here or recommend it to anyone. There is no place for arrogance and lack of manners when it comes to high end restaurants.
It was horrible!!!
Every time we did a reservation using open table , they said that our table is out side. A completely direfent mood and space than the one we are supposed to be.
In reservation there isn't this
Option for us to choise, and honestly , out side isn't a place that we want to be.
I have to fight and argue for so long to be seated in .
Had a party of 10 and while the service was good two dishes needed to be sent back due to being cold and upon return it was just thrown on one side to heat up and they flipped it like we were not going to look under. For a high end top dollar place I would expected more than that. Appetizers were excellent and well plated, place had a good vibe with music but be aware its attached to the living room bar which depending on time the music from each area can compete with each other, I would say to pick one for entire room.
Loved it. Love the hotel. Love the music. The Argentinian skirt steak is fantastic. I recommend going later in the evening and then dancing in the living room after dinner.
We had booked Los Fuegos a month before as we were staying at the Faena Hotel and had read glowing reviews. It is a beautiful space, well lit and pumping lively music. Excited to eat there. Unfortunately, they seem to overbook, and we were relegated to the terrace. Sort of like being sent to Siberia. Besides the food, the terrace had no relation to the Main dining room. They even close the door between the two spaces. The terrace is a lovely space during the day; however, at night, it is quite dark. Absolutely no ambience. Also, it was a rainy, windy night and literally 5 minutes from getting our entree, it was cold. What a disappointment. My advice is that if they try to seat you outside, go somewhere else.
