About Los Fuegos – Faena Hotel Miami Beach
Born from a passion for the ancient art of South American live-fire cooking, Argentine grillmaster Francis Mallmann creates a contemporary asado experience with an open-fire kitchen, local ingredients and a gaucho’s touch to transform traditional rustic recipes into sophisticated, savory dishes.
Major social event in Argentina, the asado (an open-fire barbecue) marks a time when friends and family gather around traditional dishes and spend an afternoon catching up. It is as much about tradition and being together as it is about food. Our Sunday family style menu features a variety of dishes typically served among families on weekends.

Los Fuegos – Faena Hotel Miami Beach Ratings and Reviews
Imponente.
The food was amazing. Loved the live band as background music. The service outstanding. The only reason I gave 4 stars to service was because they made us wait for the table for approx. 20 mins and we had a reservation. Then they said they were going to look for us at the bar, and they didn't. I had to go back to check on the table and then, they said it was ready.
Very bad choice if you are planning to Surprise your girl friend for special occasion, the place smell like you are cooking a BBQ in your back yards. Very impolite at the time of confirmed the reservation they forced you to eat at their convenience, they can’t guarantee a table inside or outside, even those you specify ahead of time that you want inside table, air conditioning very poor. Never again!
A beautiful and wondrous space that is truly unique. Our meal was well prepared and very good. Definitely a good fit for someone looking to celebrate or marking a more special occasion. Service was mixed throughout our meal but perhaps it was an off night. Should note that there were a handful of families with littles in tow.
The food at Los Fuegos is definitely the best part. The biggest problem was that the inside dining room looks great but the outside (where we were) is very mediocre. Also, while the food is very good, it's not good enough to justify the prices (IMO). We definitely had a nice evening but we won't necessarily go back.
Came here after a civil wedding. Everyone enjoyed the food they ordered and the portions are plentiful. It looks like the inside of the restaurant accommodates parties of up to four people, maybe five. If any larger, you will be seated outside under a covered canopy. It was a little chilly and windy the day we went but the servers did their best to accommodate us at a relatively shielded table. Food, service, timeliness were all great and I'd recommend for anyone wanting a special dining experience.
However, I am annoyed by the reservation system. I called at 9pm the previous night to try an add an extra person to our party (1 hour before the restaurant closing). After those annoying automated menu systems and being put on hold for 5 min, I got the hostess for the other restaurant who tried to transfer my call but disconnected me instead. Then after calling back I was on hold for another 15 min before I got the same hostess who told me the hosts/hostesses at los fuegos were too busy and I should call the next day. When I called the next day, the host told me my request would be "difficult" but he'd ask the manager before confirming that I could add an extra person. Ugh. This doesn't scream high-end service.
My husband and I flew in to Miami and I am Argentinesnd have followed this restaurant and it's chef/owner. We loved the ambiance and staff was great. The Caro Cabernet was not available but we went with the Luca Malbec. The meal was fantastic great flavors and it did not let us down! Highly recommend this gem.
The experience was unbelievable . I’m a huge fan of the Chef so this was a very exciting experience . The flavors and textures of the food were exquisite . Everything sort of melted in your mouth and bursted with surprises. The plating was beautifully done . The food is romantic , rustic , authentic and sexy . However , I wish I wasn’t sitting right next to a palm, since it was in my face the whole time . hahha - But I sucked it up for the experience . Our waiter Ronald was amazingly on point . He didn’t miss a beat . Very pleased and will be back when I am in Miami again . Bravo 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Excellent venue and food.
Outstanding service at the table
Very cool and dismissive reception from the lady at the welcome desk and the lady who escorted us to the table. Very disappointing at a restaurant where everything else was superb. Those two should be reminded that they are not more important than the customers
We were looking forward to dinner at Los Fuegos as we are fans of Argentine cuisine.
The restaurant design was beautiful. The first issue we experienced though was being seated where all we could see was an entrance hall with a service door. We asked if we could change seats at the table so we could face the restaurant, the hostess complied but said she never knows how to sit people.
After a while our server came, we ordered cocktails. They didn't come. We then ordered food and wine. The cocktails appeared after the wine was poured and appetizers served.
As far as the food- the bread was cold and greasy. The empanadas and pulpo very good.
The Milanese great, skirt steak cold and tough. During dinner, several different people came to clear plates but no one ever came to pour wine or water. We took care of ourselves. A very expensive meal for self service. Too bad. So much potential.
We were in Miami to celebrate anniversary. Chose Los Fuegos based on a spectacular dinner we had last year at Pao. Left SO DISSAPPOINTED! Asked for a romantic table seated in entry walk way. Had octopus and tartare for appetizers and tenderloin Milanesa and Branzino for entrees. The appetizers were better than entrees but nothing was special or worth the price. We skipped dessert which we never do. Would not go back so many other great options in Miami.
