Despite having the reservation, they didn't have a table so we sat in the bar. We both had something wrong with our orders when they came out, but it was corrected. Not the best experience I've had there.

The crab bisque was to die for. I wanted to kick out my cup. The Berkshire pork chop was done perfectly moist and seasoned wonderfully. My peach Manhattan was one if the best I have ever had.

Excellent as always! The ambience, food quality, and service is always exceptional. This is one of the top three restaurants in Lincoln, in my opinion.

Wonderful, delicious food! Great service by Cody, our waiter and cook Tristan! Lobster ragions, recommended, were delicious! Wine selection was perfect! Special attention was given for my daughter’s birthday! Wonderful surprise!

Always a pleasant dining experience. Noise level (a big deal with me) is sufficiently low to carry on a conversation but not so low as to only hear the clinking of silverware. Wait staff was friendly, engaged and helpful but not overly aggressive or annoying. Food was well prepared and well presented. Management was quick to acknowledge an error (before I noticed it) and make appropriate compensation. This establishment has an excellent reputation and certainly lived up to it during this most recent visit.

The Venue is a fabulous restaurant with the best food in town and service to match. It's a little more expensive than most restaurants, but the food and experience are well worth it.

My first time at Venue was exceptional! This time, on Valentine's Day, my boyfriend and I both were not near as impressed as we were the first time. Our server was the main issue, she did not provide good service. To us, our food wasn't worth as much money as it was priced for. My scallops were not cooked correctly and the filet mignon was definitely not near as nice as it should've been. The food was overall good, but not what I would expect from such an upscale restaurant where we paid $30 for our meal plates.

Always great food, wine and service. Friendly staff, exceptionally trained to accommodate dietary restrictions (gluten, dairy & more) just let your server know your needs.

I had looked forward to trying this restaurant. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. We were seated promptly but it all went downhill from there. Our server was slow to greet us and everything seemed to take place in slow motion. It took awhile to get the one cocktail we ordered, additional time for the bottle of wine and about twenty to 30 minutes to get a wedge salad. Entrees didn't take quite that long but were sadly subpar. My husband had the fried chicken upon recommendation from our waitress. While the chicken was tasty , the gravy had obviously been held on a steamtable or reheated. My seafood trio failed to deliver also. The "garlic shrimp" lacked any flavor and the scallops were extremely salty. The salmon was actually quite tasty and was the saving grace of the dish. The WORST entree was the pork bucatini . After a couple bites my daughter asked my opinion as she said there was something not right and wanted to see what I thought. I tasted a bite of the pork first which was fine but then made the mistake of trying the pasta. It was so salty that it was inedible. By the time the waitress came back, we had finished what we were going to eat. She seemed unsure of how to handle the inedible food. She offered to get a replacement meal but to be honest we just wanted to leave. The manager came by and apologized and removed that entree from the bill. The restaurant is gorgeous but the staff needs training and they need some new recipes. Very disappointing and we will not return.

While we enjoyed what we did order our dining experience was noisy. We asked about the deserts but declined because we did not like the coffee offering. No gourmet coffee is disappoint at a place like this.

Had a great time at the Venue. We were seated right away. Our waitress let us know the kitchen was behind and there would be a longer wait. We were fine with it. We ended up waiting an hour and half. I did not realize this due to having great company some delicious bread and a beautiful environment. The manager cane and spoke with us. He ended up comping the meal which we did not expect. When we got the good it was delicious and definitely worth the wait. We will be using the venue for our upcoming wedding.

We were surprised how busy they were for a middle-of-the-week in January reservation. The noise level was slightly above their average, but certainly not objectionable. Tables are widely spaced enough so that everyone is comfortable at conversational speech levels. All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

I've loved everything I've ordered from The Venue. On this occasion, it seemed like the food took quite a while, but it was worth the wait. My water glass could have been filled a few more times, but overall it was a great experience and the food was fantastic as usual.

Visited for our 10th wedding anniversary. Food and drink were delicious, service was spot on, and we were encouraged to take our time. Never felt rushed in the least! The entire evening was a complete pleasure, and we will be back.

I really like Venue. They take the quality of what they serve very seriously. The staff also excel at what they do. Every effort is made to satisfy their guests. When I visited I had a the seared Ahi Tuna as an appetizer. The entree was a Certified Angus Beef ® brand a soy glazed USDA 14 oz. Prime Ribeye. The food was beautifully presented and delicious.

I will say that I was a bit concerned by how many offerings they have on their menu. My perspective is that restaurants always do best by focusing on a few dishes rather than trying to offer everything. There is however no evidence that any of their food is less than top notch.

The dining room is a bit noisy. It certainly does not impede conversation, but I am not sure the acoustics are congruous with the quality of the food and beverages.

The cocktails are excellent and nicely presented. Although they did not have a Vesper martini on the menu the waitress knew exactly what I was asking about when ordering one.

And although they are a fine dining establishment and as such excel in their wine offerings I wish the selection of beer was wider. Their tap selection was tied up with too many American adjunct lagers from the likes of Anheuser Busch and Miller/Coors, which seems out of step with their food.

Overall I really enjoyed dining at Venue and look forward to returning soon.

Good food. A very nice, knowledgable waitress. We had a great evening enjoying friends. We were not rushed and I felt the staff was just allowed us have a nice evening. The spare rib with polenta was very good. I have been there one other time and each time the food was very good.

The happy hour menu and atmosphere in the bar was great. Come early though, because it's hard to get a seat. Drinks were great and food options are good too for the price.
My wife and I both had steaks, which were ok. They were cooked properly, but lacked flavor. For the price, we expected a little more. The sides were good-cream foie gras spinach was delicious.
Service was fast and friendly. Atmosphere was very nice overall.
We may not come back for dinner, but we would definitely do Happy Hour here again.

The Venue continues to win my respect with their high level of attention to detail in their customer service and their food. I enjoy the times I get to spend here. The menu is diverse enough to be an attraction to every client I have ever entertained there.

All the food was delicious, but our steak ( we shared) was over cooked. We didn't send it back because we wanted to eat at the same time as our daughter and son in law. Expensive steak not prepared to our liking.
