   You need some acoustical tiles or something to help the noise level. We were screaming at each other to be heard!!!!! Not a relaxing atmosphere! Our waitress was wonderful as was the food.

   Seated in the lounge, we could hear each other talk in a low light uncrowned space. Our server Carlos was great, and so was the food. Ahi tuna starter and salmon on salad for our table.

   Our overall dining experience went well, but my scallops were just a little over done, the risotto was exhalant, but my mix vegetables were not the best. We still liked our meal even with some flats.

   All of our food orders were amazing. Seafood, steak, pasta and corned beef. Our server was perhaps the best we had ever had anywhere. I would recommend Desiree to everyone. Pleasant evening.

   Even though the server knew it was my father's 77th birthday yesterday, he wasn't offered a dessert to celebrate his big day. I have come to the Venue for years with my parents, and I must say that I am surprised and saddened that your server wouldn't have done this one, small thing to make my dad's day brighter. All the restaurant did was give him a piece of paper with a generic birthday wish when he was seated. I've very disappointed.

   Everything was great. Nicole was our server, and was just perfect. The food was as always, delicious and excellently prepared. It’s my go to for dinner and drinks in Lincoln.

    Perfect place to meet a friend for lunch! As always, the service was great, food excellent, nice quiet booth to allow for conversation. SO grateful to have this restaurant in our city!

    The food was okay, not great. I ordered the seafood trio and it came with a risotto that was so thick and cheesy it tasted like a block of cheese glue. The seafood was cooked well and tasty. The service was brisk and while competent, not warm, and the server never described dishes or appetizers. For instance, they serve a complimentary bread with a couple of different butters and an oil of some kind. It would have been nice if we’d known what was in the butters/oil. In short, the environment felt like fine dining, but the service and food weren’t fine dining. Not bad, but nothing to write home about or recommend to people.

    Some of the best service I had in a while. I can’t remember who our waitress was, a nice blonde lady. She made our 7th Valentines day really awesome. We both work in food service and sometimes you put on a face, didn’t seem like she did. Again, just so nice , and great recommendations etc. Food was some of the best I had in a long time too, had to buy a 6 pack for the Kitchen! You all rock!

    Food was great, but didn’t sit well with me. However, the service was the best I ever experienced. So polite, kind, caring, helpful, accommodating, etc. I could go in and on. Would definitely recommend!!!

    We had the special that evening and it was outstanding the filet was very good as were the mashed potatoes and vegetable and the service was outstanding she was attentive to our needs so we were never short of water or our drinks a very enjoyable meal

    The food wasn't as good as the previous times I had been there. We had to take a very early reservation being Valentine's day weekend so our options on the menu were limited. The food was a little cold and not overly impressive (Although the Tuna appetizer was fantastic). The servers were very pleasant but I ran out of water and never got a refill even though they said they would get me one. It was a very busy night for them so I understand things get overlooked.

    We are from Kansas City and not is this our favorite restaurant in Lincoln but also one the best in the Midwest. Our party ranged from age 96-13 and everyone loved their meal. My husband gets the fried chicken every time and is never disappointed. I love the pasta dishes, each one I’ve had was delicious and unique. My son had the Creole Duo and cleaned his plate. Service was awesome too.

    I am a big fan of the Venue and have been for many years. The Venue has never disappointed me or my wife. We have shared many meals together here. We were celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary and wanted to pick somewhere that we always trust. We started the evening with Crab Cakes that had a great crab flavor and a firm but flaky crust. My wife ordered the Surf and Turf which she said was perfect. She loved the tiny roasted potatoes , the grilled shrimp was flavorful and the beef fillet was tender and cooked a perfect medium-rare. I enjoyed the Cowboy Ribeye with Parmesan Risotto and Soy Roasted Mushrooms. My meal was delicious. The steak was huge, very tender and again a perfect medium-rare. We ended the event with a slice of Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake. We love this cake and know without discussing it, that whenever we dine at the Venue we are always finishing our meal with this cake. It’s a huge slice and very easy to share. Our waiter was Paulina. She was extremely accurate in her recommendations and was a pleasure to spend the evening with. We really felt as if we were friends when we left. We shared a bottle of great wine. We were treated like we were special and that our night was important to everyone that worked for the restaurant. Thanks for making our evening as pleasant as it was. We will be back!

    This was our first time, and our food was delicious! The Chef came and chatted with us, cause it was his 5th day on the job, and I appreciated him talking with us. Will definitely return for a nice meal!

    Our waitress Jamie, was so welcoming. She checked in a lot to make sure we didn't need anything. Food was great, came out on time. Our steak was grilled to perfection.

    It was ok. I don’t know if our server has something else going on in her life or if she was not interested in serving us ( we weren’t having big dinners), but she didn’t make eye contact, was not friendly, did not smile, was just brusque. One of our party ordered something to take home and she sat the big sack in the middle of the table during a conversation and we couldn’t even see one another. We’ve always thought the servers at Venue were outstanding. Anyone can have a bad night and I wish rather than being poor tippers which we were because she was so unpleasant, we’d been generous instead. Having a waitress like that can certainly change the feeling about the whole evening.
