Excellent food and service.
our first time to this restaurant, we will definitely add it to out list for LoDo. Very good menu, and prices are reasonable. but go there for the food!
Excellent choice, especially around the Crawford. We chose it based on the Trip Advisor update and because it was crazy in town, due to St. Patrick's day. This place was quiet, and great!
A delicious meal with excellent service from Mario and the other servers. We will return.
Colorado lamb chops were superb!
This is the 4th time we have eaten here. This is also the only time when the service was a little slow. All of the employees and waitstaff very friendly, but the service was definitely slower than the other times we have been here to eat. The food was just as delicious as we remembered. We rave about their Bolognese and will definitely be going back. They did comp both of our desserts. Thank you.
Risotto was raw but flavor was good. Our butternut squash dish was cold and flavor combo was gross. Waiter was inattentive and not professional and lacked knowledge about the wine and menu. Don’t waste your time go somewhere else for a meal.
Everything was excellent: food, service, vibe; a really enjoyable dinner plus great server,
I just experienced Venice and I am extremely happy with the atmosphere, ambiance, art, decor, service, food & wine pairing. We walked in and immediately were greeted by the host and gm. I also noticed the gm shaking hands with his guests as the left and doing quality checks through the night. Tried the most amazing pasta dish -Rigatoni Salsiccia, Bresaola Pizza, and the Calamari. The Rigatoni sauce is something out of this world. To me it reminded me of a creamy red vodka sauce that I wish they would sell. The Bresaola Pizza has the most amazing/soft goat cheese and thinly sliced beef your pallet with thank you for. Not only was the food amazing and well balanced, but the wine pairing was spot on. All we had to do was tell the gm who is also a sommelier about the type (Malbec) and he brought an exquisite, full bodied, Spice but fruit forward wine to the table. This restaurant has it all.... Highly recommend for any occasion; however, it is truly romantic.
Thanks again to the staff for incredible service and the chef who made the most amazing dishes! Happy Hour is also a go to any day of the week!
Ate here twice while we were in Denver !!! Enough said ..... great place and great service and great food.
Thanks for making the celebration of my mom’s birthday extra special! We’ll be back!!
Our service was fabulous! It was a great experience and we will definitely be back.
The ambience was great and we loved our service! We had butternut squash ravioli and it was amazing. We'll definitely be back.
Love this place.... my Wife lost an earing and they found it and managed to find my cell number and call me. Thanks to Ben!!
Server was great and food is always delicious.
The food was delicious with good service and a nice atmosphere
Venice is why I love OpenTable - you are in a different city and don't know where to go. We had a special birthday to celebrate. After looking on OpenTable I decided on Venice.
Great choice ..... had Erin as the waitress - she was fabulous, very helpful and attentive - along with Sabi (Wasabi without the Wa).
The chef made burrata caprese just for us - and we loved our food and wine. I could not get over the wine cellar - all glass. So Erin had Eric show us around the structure as we discussed the wines.
Great experience and willcomeback again this week during our conference.
Will recommend highly.
Our dining experience at Venice was amazing. Both our server Krystal and the manager Eric were outstanding. My truffle risotto was excellent and so was the beef carpaccio. The wines Eric suggested fit our meal perfectly and were ver tasty. I can't wait to come back and try some new dishes soon.
Yet another wonderful experience at Venice. The pure joy of good friends getting together is magnified with beautiful wine, amazing cuisine, and old world service (thank-you Erin (sp) , Kevin, and Allesandro).
Strongly recommend Venice for a date as well - they will make you feel like a king and her a queen.
Thank-you Venice for a perfect evening.
A former co-worker and I have had many business lunches with clients at Venice. She now lives in Fort Collins. I've tried a number of the new places, but none can beat Venice for the quality of the beautifully presented food, the service and the ambiance. We chose Venice for our get-together. Though we were tempted by the tasty pasta entrees and the the specials of the day, we each ordered one of the delicious, fresh salads. This time, we both chose chicken for the protein, but we've enjoyed the salmon and the shrimp, too.
I chose the salad for lunch since I was meeting my husband at Venice for happy hour later in the day. The new happy hour menu includes delicious new small plates, as well as our favorites.
Enjoying Venice twice in one day is unusual, but wonderful!
The food was absolutely delicious! I visited Denver two years ago and enjoyed this restaurant so much that it was a must-revisit on my recent return to Denver. Our waitress, Gemalla (not sure if I spelled that correctly), was so outstanding that even our guests remarked that she helped to make this an exceptionally wonderful dining experience. Looking forward to dining there again in the near future!
Excellent service. Great food. Excellent ambiance.
As usual, superb. Often there.
Have eaten here numerous times with relatively good experiences, but our last Saturday dinner experience was a lousy one. Restaurant has good food and extensive wine list. However, the noise level was so loud and extreme that the five of us could not hear one another talk. I had specifically requested seating at a quieter table because two of our guests have hearing issues, but the request went unheeded as we were surrounded by tables. The restaurant filled up by the time we realized we were at a Broncos game. As a result, we couldn't change our table. The evening was ruined.
Went in with my family and it was a wonderful experience! Eric was great and very hospitable and made our night! The wine, food, and ambiance made our night perfect. Will definitely be back!
Birthday. Amazing food and service. Prices are
very very reasonable for quality and portions.
Service was outstanding.
We were immediately seated at our table and the superior service continued all through the meal. The food was excellent and we learned a little about Italian wines from our waiter. The location was perfect in Denver’s LoDo district, right across from Union Station. I cannot wait to go there again!
They got me and boyfriend a comp dessert for our anniversary. That was very nice of them. Joe is awesome and nice! will come visit soon!
Great food and service!
I have been to this restaurant many times and it's always been fantastic. However, we went on Valentine's day and it wasn't up to par with our past visits. Service was slow, due to it being very busy but still....They had a "special" menu and many of us enjoyed our meals but those that ordered the seafood lasagna said it was so dry that it was almost inedible. I like this restaurant but probably won't go back on a holiday.
I had another great meal at Venice Ristorante. We made the right choice for Valentine's Day.
Always love Venice! Downtown location near Union Square is really fun!
Venice Ristorante, across the street from Union Station in Denver, was a true find. An interesting menu, a great wine selection, delicious food, and excellent and friendly service made this a memorable dining experience. The Saltimboca alla Romana was perfect, and the special dessert, profiteroles, the perfect ending to wonderful meal. An excellent wine selection and inventive cocktails complement the food. I plan to return on my next trip to Denver.
It took over one hour to receive our food. This is the first time something like this happened, but the restaurant was empty and it took far too long to bring us our meals.
From the moment we arrived, we were treated kindly. The wait staff was excellent. Our waitress assisted in wine and food selections, and she was spot on. The food was home made and so delicious prepared with fresh ingredients. the wine selection was wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Denver.
I was under pressure to find a restaurant that would accommodate the various dietary needs of my sales team but also impress the President of the company. On top of that I needed to find a restaurant who's menu was moderately priced. Not an easy task. I came across Venice on Opentable and the reviews intrigued me. The one worry I had was about the reviews I saw with regard to their service. I went ahead and booked a reservation. I don't normally write reviews but I wanted other's to know the food was amazing and Corey or server (spelling not sure) was outstanding!
Food was great, ambiance was nice, wine list was special good, and the service was prompt. Server had an awkward personality but he was professional
Food was very good as usual. We were very disappointed in the service. Our server was consistently poor throughout the evening mixing up our orders from cocktails through deserts. It was though he wasn’t even listening to us.
The polenta appetizer and ravioli with gorgonzola sauce were divine!
Both of us agree that it was the Best Italian Food we Ever had!
