Venice Ristorante & Wine Bar

Dry Mahi Mahi and two other meals at the table were not even finished due to the taste of the sausage. major disappointment.
We had a high school reunion lunch and most folks had never been to Venice before but everyone loved it and one of the guests is now planning to host a party for her family there. The food was great and we enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine.
Best Italian in Denver!
One of my favorites restaurants. Everything is always so good, nice atmosphere, Great food, great service at a reasonable price. Paco manages a great restaurant!
Great food, attentive service, awesome wine selection, tasty mixed drinks and all around nice experience.
Homemade pasta and incredible sauces. Went with 3 friends and each dish tasted amazing. One side of my family is Italian and this was the perfect place for Sunday dinner.
The food was delicious, the wait staff were on point, and they spared no expense to make sure that we had a pleasant evening.
The food was very tasty and plentiful. We enjoyed the conversation with Mario. Overall a very pleasant evening.
The ambiance is very nice and inviting. However, the shrimp scampi was tasteless and the wine was just ok.
All around great lunch experience. Both the Bronzino and Cioppino dishes were excellent.
My wife and I enjoyed lunch at Venice Ristorante & Wine Bar. She had the Tagliatelle Bolognese and Salad, I had the Ravioli salisicca e Porcini. Both were good, and a good sized lunch portions. We were very early for our reservation, but we're seated with out wait. The wait server was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, the bread, oil & balsamic server was a bit lazy. Overall, our experience was good, I would recommend, and we would return to Venice Ristorante & Wine Bar.
The food was great the service was good but it was very loud not the place to go if you're looking to have a conversation.
The food was great. Service good but the person bringing the entree was noticeably miffed because the salad plates had not been removed. The big negative is the noise level is so loud it is hard to carry on a conversation with our friends. Not sure if we’d go back unless the weather is nice enough to sit outside. Went elsewhere for coffee and dessert so we could talk.
Great place to enjoy a romantic dinner. Food was amazing, service was really great! Very affordable prices. Would highly recommend
In town for my husband’s work & celebrated our anniversary on Sunday night. Everything was fabulous - especially the truffles!! We will be back when we visit Denver again.
It was my wife birthday and she love every minute of it food was outstanding. I chicken ravioli it best ever had. Wife had the salmon it was great. Most definitely will back soon.
Overall, I had a good experience, and the service was excellent. The food was good, but nothing great. I would try it one more time.
Very noisy, very slow service by unpleasant staff, seated at a table for 6 adjacent to a column when we made a reservation for 4 months ahead. Food was very good, but expensive given the poor service and atmosphere. Will not be going back or recommending to others.
Absolutely amazing food and service. I went a few months back and then took my family when they visited for my birthday. Everyone loved it and the restaurant gave us a sample plate of desserts for my birthday which was wonderful and easy to share.
Dinner and service was amazing
My friends and I dined there on a Saturday night to celebrate two birthdays. We had a reservation for 5 at 8pm and got there far too early, so we spoke to the hostess and left for a drink elsewhere. The hostess told us to return right at 8 for our reservation. When we got back promptly at 8pm, our table wasn’t ready. We understand that can happen. The hostess was sweet and as attentive as she could be. Finally at 8:30 the hostess (on behalf of a manager) offered us a round of Prosecco and told us it would be longer. We saw a table near the waiting area and requested that one- although it was near the entrance and not as intimate- because we just wanted to be sat. Our server was nice, perhaps too busy though because our wait times in between visits were far too long. Our table seemed to have multiple versions of menus- and friends ordered things that apparently weren’t on the menu anymore- which was a bummer. All the food was delicious, but wasn’t delivered all together with a server and a follow- so a few of us had food before the rest. They made double of one of the entrees and kept forgetting sides, and then bringing lots of extras- which although may have seemed like the right call, was just too much food to keep bringing out after we were nearly done with our entrees. It seemed like we had to request bussing too, and the tab was dropped when some of us were still finishing food.the experience was somewhat of a disappointment, but the food was delicious. Also, the ladies bathroom was a MESS. the middle stalls toilet seat was essentially disconnected and as my friend sat down, she fell in (LOL), and the seat fell to the floor. 30m later when others in our group went into the bathroom, the floor was essentially flooded, trash on the floor, and messy. Kind of ruins the “nice restaurant” experience. Overall we were just bummed in the experience. We would’ve spent more than the nearly $250 tab on drinking and eating if the environment was more pleasant.
Love this place 2nd time we have been there for date night in the last month
We love Brasserie Ten Ten, so I took my sister, sister in law, and mom there during their visit to Colorado. They love it too, minus the gal standing at the counter managing the kitchen counter and handing plates to waiters who was rude to her staff and actually said loudly once “I need some f@$&ing help here”
Venice is always my number one choice when it comes to special occasions! They are so nice and never fails in bringing you excellent service and amazing food! Absolutely recommend this restaurants!!!!
The service was great, the food was spectacular. Made a special night, even more special.
Wonderful food. Great service. Outstanding across the board; will return many times!
We chose Venice to celebrate my sister's 59th birthday, and it was absolutely the best choice. The service and setting invited a joyful celebration of a loved one, and the food was AMAZING! We couldn't get enough and will definitely be back.
Food was very very tasty and so reasonably priced. What a great find and why has it taken me this long to visit
We will return
It was just excatly what we were looking for on date night, food was amazing, (and I'm Italian) service was very accommodating and friendly. Nice place all around
We have become fans of Venice since moving into the neighborhood. The pasta dishes are very good as it the veal saltimbocca.
Exemplary service each time we have dined here. Definitely recommend checking them out.
The restaurant felt more energized than the last time we dined there. Everything was excellent! The only issue was that as a table of 6 the noise level was a bit challenging to hear anything said across the table. But all else was fabulous!
Outastanding food, service, price in a quiet enough place to converse
Traveling to Denver for my best friends birthday this was our second visit to Venice Restaurant. First, the food and wine is absolutely delicious. Hand made pastas are to die for, and the salads and appetizers are fabulous! The service is spot on, and our server was exceptional even bringing out a complimentary dessert and limoncello apartifs for us to end the birthday dinner. We will be back next time I am in town!!
Both of our pasta dishes came out with the wrong pasta. Too hungry to send them back!
I received a very nice call from the GM, Paco today. He was very apologetic for our dinner orders and asked for additional details. I am impressed by the response
from Venice’s and when in Denver again, we would not hesitate to visit again.
Wait staff, mgmt, and Hostess were not only professional but very friendly and caring! We were treated extremely well! Food was great! The photo is of our appetizer.
Great dinner with friends. Our server Lori was very patient and helpful with our large group. We were the last to leave but felt no pressure. The one downside was the noise level. We had a party of 6 and it was really difficult to hear anyone other than the person next to me during the rush. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend it.
Venice - Best birthday dinner ever!
Our family chooses to celebrate our special occasions at Venice. The delicious food from the antipasti to the elegant desserts are creatively prepared and exquisitely presented. For this occasion, we chose seafood and pasta for our entrees. The scampi with artichoke hearts and capers was served in perfect sauce. The salmon with sauteed vegetables was to die for. The ravioli with butternut squash and walnuts is a family favorite. Our cocktails and wine were excellent. The service was top-notch. The ambiance is beautiful, but warm and welcoming as well.
Venice is a favorite restaurant for business lunches and happy hour, as well as dinners. Venice is simply the best!
Excellent restaurant, service was great and they were wonderful for my friend's birthday!
The staff was very friendly and hospital. We really enjoyed our evening at Venice and would highly recommend this spot.
Food and service exceptional. Erin is a top notch server, great with food recommendations and wine pairing. Hostess Laurie very welcoming and appreciative. This staff made me feel truly welcomed as a guest.
