Great view, good food. We were seated next to a group that was a boisterous. But otherwise nice place. Been there a long time ago - still great place to go.
Bar was lively, drinks were good. It’s an older crowd..late 30s & up. No complaints about the food...delicious and creative enough to be interesting but not too “ducky”- as my daughter would say. Our server was outstanding with delivering drinks and food. Lovely view of skyline across the water. The 2pc band in the bar was not great but people still got up to dance.
We had reservations for 7 but didn't get seated until after 730. Our server was very nice but slow. However, when we did order the food came out fast and was delicious and reasonably priced. There was a baby crying almost the whole dinner. I will go again but if I have some of the same issues it will be my last time
First time was phenomenal. This time was a little disappointed. Really loud. Also felt a little rushed. Food is ok but for the price I would expect a little more. The marinara was just ok and the marsala was just ok. Definitely expected a little higher quality.
Don't get me wrong it is a nice place but if we are being honest, I think they can do a lot better to provide a better quality and value.
Expensive but good.
Great food, Great atmosphere, Great experience
The food and service was excellent, a great value for your money.
Food was over priced.
Recommend - only maybe. We liked it much better on previous occasions. While the veal was delicious, it was just too salty. The service was only okay. When asked for a wine pairing the waiter seemed nervous, hemmed and hawed and came up with what turned out to be a perfectly good choice. I think overall the wait staff needs to be less obvious. But it was Valentines Day. Perhaps we were all a little nervous.
Venezia has been our go to place for family and friends celebration. The service is excellent and the food is the best. We would definitely recommend Venezia to friends and especially visitors from out of town.
Awesome food...great views, excellent, attentive staff!
One of my favorite Boston restaurants. Outstanding staff, beautiful view and delicious food.
We celebrated our 6 month anniversary and our evening was perfect
They disregard specific request that you put down when making reservations. When my boyfriend and I went there for a birthday celebration we had three different waiters and felt rushed out.
The food is excellent and the service is always very good.
Second time there for a date night/birthday event. Food was nicely presented and very good tasting. Views of Boston skyline from across the river/harbor were outstanding, especially after dusk...a bit hard to get to as it is in the rear of a warehouse area. but with plenty of parking. overall, a good dining and visual experience.
Beautiful restaurant a little out of the way., but perfect location. Excellent service and great food. Couldn't ask for better
It was my first time but it definitely won’t be my last.
We were greeted warmly and ushered to our table with breathtaking views of the Boston skyline. Our server was enjoyable and engaging, and very knowledgeable about the menu.
The food was some of the best Italian cuisine we’ve had anywhere.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we’ll surely be back again!
Good italian dishes. We had chicken parm, veal parm and the caprese salad, all of which were great. We also had the antipasto, which was also good. The only negatives on the food were the two non italian entrees we ordered, sea bass and lamb chops. Both were very overcooked. The lamb chops were big and still tasty but were cooked through to a dark brown color, despite our medium rare order. The waitress was great, offering to replace them but it was so busy and late that my wife didn’t bother. Still were good, just not great.
Desserts were all good, but the 7 Layer chocolate cake is more like a Ding Dong, not what you’d expect. Decent, but not what anyone would expect a 7-layer cake to be.
However I would not suggest going when there's a band. It was very difficult to hear and the music base was aggressive to say the least.
The food and service was excellent however.
I brought my brother here for lunch. the service was excellent and the food very fresh and tasty.
We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday. The food was terrific, and the service was as well. My son had the special, lobster ravioli, and is still raving about it three days later. My husband says they make a great Manhattan, too!
This is a cute little spot. The food is overpriced but decent. Service is exceptional. Vibe is good! Lobster in scampi sauce is $50. Not recommended at all. Wasn’t near good enough to cost that much. Go with baked stuffed or diavolo.
Great food and service.
Went here for NYE and it did not disappoint! Great food, drinks, and service plus you can’t beat the view!
They did a good job for NYE
While our waitress, Tarin, was great -- especially since she had several large tables, the food was nothing to write home about. One of the guests in our party sent her meal back because it was actually tasteless. This particular person is not picky at all and would not send something back unless it was truly inedible. The 2 1/2 baked stuffed lobsters were ok but skimpy on the stuffing and not exactly hot. The stuffed chicken was well received. The table ordered 3 desserts to share and the creme brulle was actually a dish of scrambled eggs!
Maybe we should try this restaurant on a regular weekend, instead of on New Years
it was new years eve and the food was good, but I felt rushed.
Excellent service, great atmosphere, wonderfully view, not enough words to describe the guisene
There were 10 of us having dinner on Fri night. Had a great round table with a view. The food was excellent for everyone but the service was not. Granted it was busy that night but that’s no excuse. Sever was not that attentive meaning he should of made sure everyone seated had all the cocktail orders placed at the same time instead of running to bar after a few orders. Also he never asked anyone if interested in apps. Just took the dinner orders. Well, the food came out nice and hot and no one complained. Probably go back again ,hopefully not with that server!
Had not been to Venezia in years as I moved. Special family dinner, fantastic menu. Many of us had difficulty deciding what to have. High quality, found was delicious. Our waitress Megan was wonderful. Great drinks ! We will be back.
We had a lovely dinner on 12/26 with our family of five. The restaurant placed us at a round table with a nice view. Our waiter was very good. Definitely going back.
A family dinner celebrating a birthday it was outstanding
This restaurant never disappoints. The food is excellent.
Great food, great service, definitely recommend Venezia.
The server wasn’t as great as usual for this restaurant. And I can not believe they no longer make the lobster ravioli (main reason I made reservations on my birthday!)
Very good overall.
