Been here 30 times over the years. Service was fantastic. Food not as good as I remembered it from the last time.
Gorgeous hidden gem in Dorchester. Stunning views at sunset, kind wait staff, and quality italian food. Make sure to hit Boston Winery for some drinks beforehand.
Went during Boston Restaurant Week for lunch. Great menu and value. Great harbor / marina view. A hidden gem but worth the effort to find.
Generous portion and great flavors, however; my seabass was very over cooked and the roasted potatoes seemed like they had been left in the warming tray too long.
The food,service and drinks were
Great and nice view of the city
We visited during Dine Out Boston week which we usually do not do. The waiter was probably rushed but made us feel rushed also. It wasn’t the usual 5 star review I might have given.
Great experience, Raul is a phenomenal server.
We went for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was great. Service was excellent and timely and the food was amazing. We will be back!
Delicious food and great service in very lovely dining room with water views. What more could you ask for!!
Great visit during Boston restaurant week with added value of the 3 course special! atmosphere, view, service and of course the food was top notch.
Very loud at times . My steak wasn't cooked the way I ordered it. They took it back but still wasn't right. I kept it but was disappointed.
This was a get together with my son. This is a great restaurant we enjoyed it very much.
I have dined at Venezia before and always enjoyed it. I have not been for a couple of years and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. The fired calamari appetizer was lousy - no dipping sauce and left your mouth with a oil fried taste. Sent back to kitchen and got the Italian meats and cheese plate. That was good. My son ordered a steak and sent that back as it was tasteless. He ordered a pasta ravioli which tasted dry. Sent it back. We have never sent back so much food in a lifetime. I ordered Osso Bucco, which I ate. None of the food was to die for. The Meritage wine made on the premises was delicious. Service was fabulous as was the ambience. But the food is one of the most important reasons to go to a certain restaurant. Will we be back? No. I noticed the restaurant was not very busy at all for a Saturday night, plenty of open tables. Perhaps others feel the same as we do.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, beautiful view!
You can never go wrong with Venezia!
Wait staff was great . Front desk was aware of my earlier requests and hade everything ready . Have been there several times with similar results . Food is excellent.
We had a birthday day celebration in our group and we were not disappointed! Thank you for a lovely evening!
Amazing food, beautiful skyline view and outstanding service. From appetizers to dessert, everything was incredible. Aside from a group of diners a couple tables away who were rather loud, there was nothing to compare our special occasion to other than the wedding day. Wonderful hidden treasure!
Excellent atmosphere, superb food, terrific service.
Great view, good food. We were seated next to a group that was a boisterous. But otherwise nice place. Been there a long time ago - still great place to go.
Bar was lively, drinks were good. It’s an older crowd..late 30s & up. No complaints about the food...delicious and creative enough to be interesting but not too “ducky”- as my daughter would say. Our server was outstanding with delivering drinks and food. Lovely view of skyline across the water. The 2pc band in the bar was not great but people still got up to dance.
We had reservations for 7 but didn't get seated until after 730. Our server was very nice but slow. However, when we did order the food came out fast and was delicious and reasonably priced. There was a baby crying almost the whole dinner. I will go again but if I have some of the same issues it will be my last time
First time was phenomenal. This time was a little disappointed. Really loud. Also felt a little rushed. Food is ok but for the price I would expect a little more. The marinara was just ok and the marsala was just ok. Definitely expected a little higher quality.
Don't get me wrong it is a nice place but if we are being honest, I think they can do a lot better to provide a better quality and value.
Expensive but good.
Great food, Great atmosphere, Great experience
The food and service was excellent, a great value for your money.
Food was over priced.
Recommend - only maybe. We liked it much better on previous occasions. While the veal was delicious, it was just too salty. The service was only okay. When asked for a wine pairing the waiter seemed nervous, hemmed and hawed and came up with what turned out to be a perfectly good choice. I think overall the wait staff needs to be less obvious. But it was Valentines Day. Perhaps we were all a little nervous.
Venezia has been our go to place for family and friends celebration. The service is excellent and the food is the best. We would definitely recommend Venezia to friends and especially visitors from out of town.
Awesome food...great views, excellent, attentive staff!
One of my favorite Boston restaurants. Outstanding staff, beautiful view and delicious food.
We celebrated our 6 month anniversary and our evening was perfect
They disregard specific request that you put down when making reservations. When my boyfriend and I went there for a birthday celebration we had three different waiters and felt rushed out.
The food is excellent and the service is always very good.
Second time there for a date night/birthday event. Food was nicely presented and very good tasting. Views of Boston skyline from across the river/harbor were outstanding, especially after dusk...a bit hard to get to as it is in the rear of a warehouse area. but with plenty of parking. overall, a good dining and visual experience.
Beautiful restaurant a little out of the way., but perfect location. Excellent service and great food. Couldn't ask for better
It was my first time but it definitely won’t be my last.
We were greeted warmly and ushered to our table with breathtaking views of the Boston skyline. Our server was enjoyable and engaging, and very knowledgeable about the menu.
The food was some of the best Italian cuisine we’ve had anywhere.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we’ll surely be back again!
Good italian dishes. We had chicken parm, veal parm and the caprese salad, all of which were great. We also had the antipasto, which was also good. The only negatives on the food were the two non italian entrees we ordered, sea bass and lamb chops. Both were very overcooked. The lamb chops were big and still tasty but were cooked through to a dark brown color, despite our medium rare order. The waitress was great, offering to replace them but it was so busy and late that my wife didn’t bother. Still were good, just not great.
Desserts were all good, but the 7 Layer chocolate cake is more like a Ding Dong, not what you’d expect. Decent, but not what anyone would expect a 7-layer cake to be.
