Great service. Excellent food and a wonderful view. Book an early dinner for a great table. Staff was attentive without being annoying.
My guest was very pleased with her meal, as was I. Little on the pricy side but I would return. And would recommend to others.
Whenever we entertain out of town guests, we like to take them to a Boston harbor view restaurant, and over the years Venezia has become our go to restaurant as it offers so much more than "just" the beautiful harbor view. From the free and ample parking to the soft colors of the airy dining room, from the impeccable service to the well executed and varied menu, we always can count on the Venezia dining experience to please our guests. Not everyone is up for seafood and Venezia also has a nice selection of beef, chicken, lamb, pasta and pork dishes that all are very good. To date, the restaurant has never failed to deliver a memorable dining experience for us and our guests.
Overall a pleasant experience with very good food. Excellent menu choices and a broad wine selection. I would like to see a larger craft beer menu.
We sat outside, great atmosphere. Our waitress forgot about us a few time. Food was excellent
My wife and I wanted to have a special dinner out, and Venezia was the right choice. We were seated (at my request) at a window overlooking the water and enjoyed the sunset and delicious food. Unfortunately we were seated by a large, fairly boisterous group, so the noise level was occasionally problematic.
The food and service were excellent!
We went for a Birthday dinner. The place was beautiful gorgeous views we were seated promptly, in front of a big window. Service was great. We are not big fish people so the only thing somewhat bad I can say the menu was a little small. But with that said it is better to offer less and do them very well.
I don’t speak Italian but we started with the zucchini app with roasted and fried vegetables it was very good.
I had shrimp scampi for dinner my husband had chicken parmigiana both entree were very large and delicious.
Also had coffee and dessert tiramisu and chocolate molten cake with ice cream.
Also delicious. This was my first time using open table to reserve a reservation and I would have to say a perfect nite😊
Always a great time and great food. Would recommend to anyone looking for great night out.
I came to Venezia for my daughter’s 22nd birthday. We had a wonderful window seat. Our waiter was very professional and accommodating. He was prompt and very attentive. Our meals came at the same time and each one was delicious. We will definitely come back again.
Went there for lunch...was great!!!!! Good menu choices; excellent atmosphere. Wait person we had was very attentive and friendly. Will be back!
View of the bay was spectacular and our food was quite good. I had a Caesar salad and the seafood risotto that was loaded with seafood. My complaints are minor but real. At an upscale white tablecloth place I expected some anchovies in the Caesar but no. I would expect freshly grated parmesan cheese for the risotto but I had to ask and got a bowl of previously grated cheese. But all in all was pleased.
We had a wonderful lunch with great service in a lovely setting.
Birthday, Toasting a belated birthday and it was lovely.
We were a party of 6 with reservations for 6:30. Arrived 45 minutes early and they were very accommodating and sat us down right away even though there were already many patrons there. Service was great, the food was awesome we all got something different. Everyone was very satisfied. Also so many different sorts of yummy desserts. It appeared to be very clean. Definitely going back.
Great view expensive food
We celebrated Father's Day with my family and everyone was pleased with the restaurant. It was extremely easy to find as it's right off the highway and the restaurant has ample FREE parking...and the view, it was very beautiful!! The service was very prompt and great! The food, AMAZING food...everyone loved their meal. I def want to return for a date night with my husband! Truly recommend!
Seafood was excellent, platings could have used fresh herbs or lemon to lighten presentation. Risotto in particular was delicious but visually lacking.
Yes super good
Very busy and lively. The staff didn't miss a beat! You won't be disappointed.
Lots of fun with good food and drinlnks. Also, great service.
Excellent Italian Cuisine, in a very clean upscale restaurant, with very good service. The only issue we had was the high level of noise from the other guests.
Great view of the Boston skyline too!
We had friends visiting from Chicago. Great table by the window. The food was great as was our server Megan
Great food, great service, with a nice view over the water, but very loud!
I ordered the veal Marsala. It was full of bacon, despite the fact that it was not listed in the menu.
The Meals for both myself and my wife Were not great. We have had much better and less expensive in other restaurants
Granddaughter in from South Carolina for a visit. Always a great evening in every respect.
Mr. Bruno's Meritage wine never disappoints and we use it at home as well.
I had not been to Venetia for about a year ago and was very impressed with the upgrade to food and presentation. We had a server I had in the past who I always felt was very professional and continues in that style. I always forget to take pictures of the food and we all wanted to begin enjoying what had been delivered to the table. The appetizers all were very good and gorgeous. Two of us had the veal osso boca (great), two had the balsamic short ribs (the meat had already fallen off the bone) and received great reviews and one person had the veal saltamboca which she was very happy with. The deserts were also great. We enjoyed our water view and the opportunity to dine with my niece from California and her sister, her cousin and my husband. We will be back soon (I wish they were open for lunch on weekends but that may interfere with there function hall business).
The food was quite delicious but the service was very poor. The waitstaff couldn’t be more rude. No water refills, didn’t ask if I wanted another drink after mine was empty, said there wasn’t any more bread when asked, gave the check but never came over to the table to collect the cards. We had to call a waiter to come and get the cards. To end the night in a high note they gave a large party one check and rudely stated that they don’t split checks for big parties. Great location, beautiful restaurant, but I won’t be going back to a place that your treated like crap.
Great! We had a wonderful time!
We had a group of 8. I requested a round table by the window and they were able to honor that request. The service was very good. The only complaint I have is that 3 out of the 8 meals were sent back because they were cold. Three others had cold meals but just ate them anyway. We were given a complimentary plate of assorted desserts as a consolation. I would try this restaurant one more time to see if it was just because they were extremely busy.
We had a wonderful dinner. I had fish and my husband had the scallops. Both were the best we had had in New England. Our waiter, David, was friendly, and interesting to talk to.
Venezia's is like a hidden jewel in the city.
I am at Venezia at least once a month for lunch. I like to hold club meetings there because it is well-lit, in addition to the ambiance, the vista (even on a rainy day it's beautiful, just different), the meal is always delicious, as are the deserts.
I have been a patron for many years, (my husband I met there for lunch)long before Brenda was married), and have never had a problem with the waitstaff, or any meal.
We had dinner at Venezia for Mother's Day, so understandably, it was packed. The staff was definitely exhausted after a long day of seatings, but the service was still pretty good. The food was standard American-style Italian fare, and overall good quality. The best part about this place is the views - looking out on the water with views of Boston. I'd recommend dining here for the views alone! If you're looking for an outstanding Italian meal, I'm not sure this is the place. Everything is good quality, but stay for the views!
The ambiance was great the food was not so good love the drinks and hors d'oeuvres could have skipped the meal.
Dined with 9 on Mother’s Day. Quite loud, to be expected, in spite of a full restaurant service was good and food was delicious. Of the 9, all thouroughly enjoyed their meal. Will go back for a quiet dinner soon.
It was quite busy because it was Mother's Day but the food was great as always and you can't beat the view!
The food was very good, the only downside for us; was that we went on Mother's day; so there was a very limited menu. I think we will need to try it when the full menu is available.
It was so noisy we could barely hear each other speak. The tables were so close, the wait staff had difficulty serving. The food quality was mixed. The pasta and Italian traditional items were good, but the seafood was terribly lacking: over cooked pan seared scallops; cold baked stuffed haddock that was smothered in too much lobster sauce. The haddock was sent back three times and still not palatable.
Took my mother for Mother’s Day Brunch. The staff was super attentive and friendly. The food was great the room was full a life. My mother loved it.
Service was great, friendly and fast! Food was delicious!
A bit overpriced but it was a special occasion and the view was beautiful!
Very crowded waited 20min in line for food. Never do brunch again here
