Chef Brian Clevenger's first restaurant features local and seasonal ingredients with Italian influence. Located in the Madrona area of Seattle; Vendemmia features refined simplicity in its approach to food with Washington vegetables, house-made pastas and local meats and seafood. There is also the unique option to reserve the kitchen counter and have Chef Rock Silva design a seasonal tasting menu for up to 5 people at the "Chef's Counter". Four of us had dinner here. We shared 3 small plates and we each ordered our own pasta dishes. The two of us who ordered the boar ragu and lamb ragu were pleased with our portions. The two who ordered the squash/truffle pasta were disappointed as their portions were half the size of the ragu portions. The flavors were amazing in all the pastas but the discrepancy in proportions was disconcerting.
We were getting together with friends and our criteria included a talkable noise level, relatively easy parking and delicious food. This met all our criteria and we had an excellent reunion.

Menu did not carry out what they advertised.
What happened fingerling potatoes and Swiss chard with NY Strip? Only NY Strip was served.

We had a great first experience at Vendemmia. It won’t be our last!

We ordered an assortment of small plates—-loved everything, but favorites were the brussels sprouts and the snap peas with Dungeness crab! Yum! We ordered the rib steak and scallops, and really couldn’t finish it! Everything was perfectly and beautifully prepared. The wait staff is AWESOME, and the restaurant is truly top notch. We can’t wait to get back!!

My husband and I ate at Vendemmia for restaurant week. The food was good, though the portions were on the small side. The service was so quick that we felt rushed.

Came here during Seattle’s fall restaurant week. Enjoyed dinner and drinks, but I’m always thrown by an RW specific menu. I prefer experiencing items from the everyday/typical menu. Would recommend either way.

Restaurant Week is a zoo, and anything can happen to cloud your impressions of a new place. But we would not have discovered Vendemmia w/o RW, so we are very grateful. The food was imaginative, you dine just feet away from the chefs, and we will definitely be back. To be specific, loved the seared scallops, risotto w/ black pepper, albacore crudo, pear sorbet, and burrata crostini.

We had a great evening at Vendemmia. Excellent service and food. Lots of variety on the menu from which to choose and the portions are good for sharing. There is enough that each of us got to really try a dish rather than each getting a tablespoon. This is one of my favorite neighborhood spots.

Great food, the oysters were the best I’ve had prepared in a long time. We had the braised duck and wild boar pasta dishes. Both prepared perfectly. My only gripe is that the service felt rushed like they were trying to flip the tables. All in all I would definitely go back.
