Exceptional place! 10/10 would recommend. I love their food—it’s expertly prepared and tastes delicious!
Made reservations because I was warned that the Restuarant is small and wait times can be long on the weekends...we arrive about 30mins early and we notice several tables available but we’re told to wait by the bar(which is about 3ft long) and in the way of the wait staff. The front staff are extremely disorganized, as patrons were leaving, you would think they would clear the table and quickly make it available for customers who are waiting but no. As tables were cleared no one was communicating with the front staff and the front staff was too busy conversations to take a quick glance at what’s available. I had to go and inform the staff that there were multiple tables available and that we were waiting, the staff response was “we were looking for you”, we were literally 15ft feet away at the bar they told us to wait at, watching them do nothing. The waitress took forever to take our order, offered no suggestions and seemed to be disinterested...never even checking on us during our meals, we had to get someone else’s attention to get silverware and salt & pepper. The food, mediocre at best; small over-priced portions. Our mofongos were bland and under-cooked, carne frita was over-cooked and hard and the tostones tasted as if they were reheated. Coffee and milk comes in a small 4oz cup for $3 with no refills (WTF!)
Will never go again or recommend to anyone I like!
Best restaurant to get delicious Puerto Rican food!
Great good. Seemingly authentic cuisine . can sit outside during warmer weather
Best place in town to enjoy authentic Puerto Rican food!
It’s not my first time there
Food and service was good. Wine list needs to be improved. $7 wine for $33 , get better wine you still will make out.
This place is definetedly one of my favorites places. Best mofongo I have had in years.
Arrived 7:43pm for a 7:30 reservation. Call ahead to inform hostess we would be late. When we arrived we were told the wait would be 15 min. About 10 min late we were told that our wait would be 1 hour because we were more than 15 min late (which we were not). Some kind of punishment policy? Very weird. A real turn-off. Needless to say we left. (It was very busy and the food looked great).
Food was good, can improve customer service . It’s really loud. I think they should not take reservations after 10 because they start to rush you out the door. It’s loud in there . They do have a lady singing and she’s awesome .. try the seafood paella and passion fruit mojitos
It was great environment great staff good music great Food
Friendly service and great food. Although the restaurant was very busy, this time we were able to enjoy our dinner and conversation without feeling like we were being rushed.
Nice tasty..but s ervices delay...want a gifts card to compensate the waiting
Very nice service. Food is great!
great food, great music, authentic Puerto Rican cuisine
I went for my 19th birthday dinner and everything was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!
The food was fantastic, the wait staff was very friendly and we had a great time.
Delicious! Highly recommend
Celebrated my MIL birthday. From food to service every thing was perfect. Will recommend every time.
I took my wife here for dinner and we had a blast. The food is authentically Puerto Rican (my wife, whom is Puerto Rican can attest to that). Had a great time, staff and service is EXCELLENT, food is even better. We will be back!
The service was good and the food was delicious. Thank you.
Excellent service and great food. I felt like I was back in Puerto Rico eating my favorite foods. Definitely just became my go-to for Puerto Rican Cuisine.
The staff is friendly. Although some of them don't speak English, service was provided with a smile. The food is delicious.
The restaurant is very small and the parking in the South End is horrible. Open Table says there is complimentary valet parking beginning Friday's at 5:00pm. However, we arrived after 6:30pm Friday and was charged $5 for valet parking. They said they started charging in January. It's my fault for not verifying this before making my reservations.
I don't like to pay to park at a restaurant. Thus, I prefer to dine in the suburbs. So unless they start back providing complimentary valet parking, I won't dine there again.
Good food always a pleasure dining there... Don't get five stars because place is kinda small but other than that everything else is great
It is a typical Puerto Rican restaurant with great latino menu and comfortable environment.
Delicious, authentic Puerto Rican food. Huge portions and fast service. Noise wasn't an issue during our visit per other reviews.
Yummy! We'll be back.
Huge portions. Excellent ‘real’ food. A bit loud music. Very nice staff...felt like a home.
Good food, very traditional Puerto Rican options. Cool list of cocktails and fruit drinks. Nice music. All in all quite pleasant.
Great food with a great atmosphere.
We have been waiting for a place like this! Caribbean food, specifically Puerto Rican food, is our absolute favorite and after visiting the island 5 times, we know authentic. This is authentic. This is delicious. I’m so happy we found this treasure and strongly encourage everyone to try.
Staff was very understanding and helpful.
large portions and delicious taste at reasonable prices. You must order mofongo or better yet have the mofongolitos so you can sample each variety.
Loved the food and staff!
The mojitos were amazing, food was very tasty and full of flavor. Also the portion size were plentiful.
Love this place
Food and drink are amazing!
One year anniversary
Overall the experience was enjoyable, my only complaints would be after waiting for a while for the food it was cold when arrived. Ambience is nice, it came as a surprise the lack of well seasoning for "puertorican food".
