Vee Vee in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, is a small, neighborhood restaurant operated by Kristen and Dan Valachovic. The food is best described as creative American, and we feature a well-curated wine and craft beer selection. The vibe is casual, and the menu modest but inventive. As of May 2022, we are open for indoor and outdoor dining in a seasonal patio by reservation or walk-in. We are also happy to offer takeout as well.

Menu items continue to be thoughtful and delicious, limited to beer and wine but had an amaro spritz special which was superb. The vibe is inviting, cozy and airy. One of our favorite spots.

We had such a fantastic dinner with friends at VeeVee last night. The service was fantastic, food was excellent and overall just a great experience.

We love this spot, and the service was great. But we really liked their former menu, with more tapas style dishes. It was still good, but not as compelling as before.

Usually, it's a treat to go to VeeVee but sadly, this last time. the butterscotch pudding had almost no butterscotch flavor and the lobster roll meat was gummy and without much flavor.

Vee Vee was terrific! I have lived in Jamaica Plain for over twenty years and don't know why I never popped in before. It's small, with a lovely atmosphere, friendly waitstaff and delicious food. The fried oysters are to die for!

Vee Vee is back! While many, including some local food critics, embraced the Black Cat menu of the last year we did not. The current menu carries over some of the seafood shift of that period (oysters in two versions, lobster roll), and holds onto several of the old standbys (crispy shiitakes, gorditas, butterscotch pudding) it includes some new takes (wedge salad, cast iron mac & cheese, some new sides). We went with the mushrooms, then tuna and cod entrees, and finished with the pudding and were not disappointed. As always the wine and beer offerings were well chosen by owner and barkeep Dan. Kristen was inviting and led the excellent service team. The outdoor patio is one of the best in Boston (altho it was oddly quite noisy on our visit) Let's hope they will continue to thrive in these tough times.

We had a most wonderful experience. I can't begin to describe how outstanding the dinner was—it was just amazing. As was the butterscotch pudding. We'll be back again soon. Kristen was so friendly and welcoming to me and our out-of-town friends. Best Dan

Another great meal and enjoying their recently reopened patio. Not only is the food consistently great, the patio is special. It is secluded behind the restaurant with heat lamps if necessary, and no car exhaust or noise, lovely.
