   We loved the romantic setting, The attentive and efficient service, the beautiful presentation and the extremely inventive menu. The rutabaga fondue was one of the most outstanding dishes I've had!! The desserts, including sticky sticky toffee with cedar ice cream and the Coconut cream were hands down winners

   Went here on a Friday night for a celebratory dinner with my wife. App was good, 2nd course we both loved our choices. Only suggestion, I got the Chinese Broccoli & Rabe next and it was pretty bad. Wouldn't suggest this one. Then very good deserts. Overall pretty good experience, just wish I hadn't ordered that one item. Must say they have great service also.

   I went here with my girlfriend while visiting Philly for the weekend. She is a vegetarian and finding restaurants with good vegetarian options can be hard so when I saw how highly rated Vedge was I was excited to take her. Both the vibe and service were awesome and it's location near Rittenhouse Square is hard to beat. Looking at the menu and wine list was exciting as the options looked really good. However, when we got our food we were a little disappointed as the portion sizes were really small especially for the price. Even the wine pour was pretty shallow despite a glass of wine costing as much as an entree. Despite this, I thought my food tasted great, but my girlfriend was less than satisfied. I think it's definitely a restaurant to try, but don't go hungry unless you're willing to spend a decent amount of money.

   Our server was fantastic guiding us through the menu and how to order. Who knew vegan dining could be so creative, delicious, fulfilling and fun! It was a great experience and I can't wait to return to try more dishes.

   I have been to Vedge several times and it never disappoints. I always tell folks that if all vegan cuisine were this good I would become a vegetarian. I love to bring my carnivorous friends to Vedge and watch them swoon after their first bite. I cannot rave enough about the food. When the Michelin judges finally visit Philly, Vedge will surely be awarded a star!

   Had a great evening with friends. For a Tuesday the restaurant was busy and energetic. Everything was just great. The ambiance, the decor, the staff and of course the food. Vedge consists of a fun group of people that really appreciate food, are far from pretentious and have made vegetarian cuisine an absolute art form that EVERYONE should experience. I could not have been more pleased.

    I've been vegan for over 10 years, and this was by far the best seitan I've ever had. It was charred in the outside, yet moist and not too chewy inside. Vedge also does a great job proving vegetables can be the star of any meal--we particularly love the rutabaga fondu. The only drawbacks are parking (but that just comes with being in center city) and the noise level, but it's still definitely worth driving into the city for a special occasion.
