Place was not overtly crowded. We felt comfortable while dinning in. I had fettuccine Alfredo with shrimps was delicious.

I was in Jersey City and looking for a place to have an early dinner - VB3 turned out to be the perfect choice. I started with the beet salad - which was fresh and delicious. I then had the homemade lobster ravioli. It was the best lobster ravioli that I've ever eaten. (The tomato cream sauce was out of this world.) I finished with the chocolate cake, which was excellent. The service was outstanding and the prices extremely reasonable. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in the area.

Food was fine and they did a nice job on cleaning. Decent back up option if other places are crowded.

The Drinks and pizza were great! But service was slow probably due to lack of staff (our server was both bartender and waitress) and we sent back the chicken Marsala, the sauce was thin and milky. They were nice enough to replace it and the pizza came out was delicious

I drove in from manhattan because it said “in door dining” to get there and find out they were closed and they were rude about it. Don’t take reservations if you’re closed!

VB3, like many restaurants in NJ, are restricted to outdoor seating as of this review. Located next to a roadway and close to the Hoboken - Jersey City trolly, it can be noisy at times especially when the trolly passes by. Heavy metal music blaring also doesn't help ambience.

As with other places open for outdoor seating, the staff level is constrained due to decreased revenue. While there was an extensive wait for our food, the staff was accommodating and pleasant throughout. The food was the biggest surprise serving up large portions and good quality Italian favorites. Note not all items promoted online are currently available. Hopefully this will change once indoor seating is allowed.

Food was below average with above average. Octopus tastes like dry grilled chicken.

We were stuck looking for someplace later in the evening and came upon VB3 in Open Table. The reviews I read were, frankly, a lot better than the experience we had. While it was not awful, it did not live up to the levels of some of the reviews. The ambiance was as forgettable as the food. Skip it.

We booked this online before leaving the UK as the reviews had appeared good. However,we had failed to factor in that the Christmas party season was in full swing.
On arrival, an office party had effectively taken over halfthe bar and the noise levels were incredible !
The hostess initially tried to seat us at a table literally adjacent to the party group, despite there being several other options. We were reseated with no quibbles.
The food and service were impecable thereafter and decently priced for New Jersey. Would definately try a return visit but would choose our dates more carefully

We celebrated a bachelorette party dinner there. Food was great and drinks were strong! They brought out a dessert tray and sparkler to congratulate the bride! We appreciated the extra mile!

The food was delicious. We enjoyed everything we ate (kids fettuccine Alfredo, mussels, caprese, shrimp oreganata, fries) and you wouldn’t expect that from a sports bar.

Not a place for a business dinner. Good place for drinks.

Great experience. Food was great and we received great service. It’s a low key relaxed environment. Cocktails were also good, especially the white cosmo!

Superb service, excellent bbq wings, white pizza was tasty and just the right size, made well done just as we asked. It was Sunday afternoon so many TVs had football and the volume was a little bit loud making table conversation a little bit hard. Fried calamari was well done just like we like it and when we ran out of dipping sauce, the waiter brought us more. However, they do charge you for each soda you drink. NO FREE REFILLS !!

Great spot for happy hour and great food for takeout. Eating there at lunch reminds you that you're sitting in a loud bar at noon and it's pretty much empty. Will continue to go, just not a lunch spot.

Been here a few times - very good for lunch. Service was a bit slow on this visit.

I enjoyed the Bianco pizza that Star recommended.

Place was dead on a saturday night. Not sure what this place is going for...a sports bar, a lounge, a fancy restaurant, the identity is unclear which makes it awkward.

I ordered fetucinni alfredo, the food was ok, but it was too oily.

The price, I would say - normal.

The staffs were terrible. I never use there.

Service and Food was great, however the parking validation process is a headache. Other than that overall I will return again in the future.

Everything was delicious. Best chicken Parm! Seating on the “couch” side was not good, as soon as you sat down you sank into the cushions. So we moved to the other side of the table to sit on the regular chairs.

Mr risque was great!! He made sure being visitors to the area that we knew about the choices at the restaurant and around town. The food was sooo amazing. Very authentic Italian with a twist. As a chef myself I was very pleased with the food coming from this chic little bar/pizzeria/restaurant.

The service was outstanding. Our server was extremely helpful both navigating the menu and picking a wine. Considering the fact that the place doubles as a sports bar, the food was great. Would definitely come back

Although the food was authentic italian, phenomenal, the ambiance was very bad. There was a client by the bar who was drunk and was very loud and cursing and screaming all the time and the bartender and employees screamed and cursed along with him and the manager did not do anything about it until and called him and said it was not acceptable. They slowed down for a couple of minutes and then it came back to the same situation. I complemented the chef but I am not going back to eat at VB3

We had two different pastas which were both bad - one was way too oily with truffles and the other vodka sauce was tasteless. The only good thing was the meatballs. The service was subpar as they delivered our salad when they delivered our patas. We returned the salad as we didn't want to eat it with our pasta. The server never came over to apologize for the error. The music is loud, so unless you are going for a bar scene this place is not good for dinner ambiance. I would go here for a drink and meatballs. The meatballs are the reason they even got even a one star, otherwise one of the worst dinner experiences we have had in a long time.
