We always love coming here! The food is great and all the staff treat you like family. It’s a very special place to dine!
Came with a party of about 18 people and we had a great time. Really appreciate how attentive the restaurant was as our group scaled up from an original number of 3, and in accommodating all of us. Thank you!
For the money, food was not as good as I would expect. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. Flavors were a bit flat.
A wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion. Staff was very warm and kind.
The dining room is loud and uninviting so we sat on the street, next to the car traffic, where it was actually quieter but then had to breathe exhaust. The servers were friendly enough but the food is uninteresting and overpriced for what it is. Great location, perfect, I suppose they can survive on that.
Food came quickly. It was good but better on our last visit. Love the service, the atmosphere and the live music.
This was our second time at Vaso Azzurro. The service and ambiance was spot on again but the food this time was not as good. We ordered the blackened Halibut and it was very overdone and dry. I cant imagine how they got this wrong especially since this was the daily special and I thought this would be a signature dish. However, the other dishes we ordered (corn chowder, bruschetta, mushroom ravioli) were wonderful. It was my girlfriend's birthday and the staff surprised her with a rasberry gelato and a cheerful birthday song and made it a special evening for us. Except for the Halibut, everything else was great!
Best carbonara we have ever had. And I loved the seafood pizza!
Delicious food, amazing hosts. The vibrant and engaging hosts make the terrific food a bonus. Waiters and waitresses are very good and professional as well.
Best northern Italian food in the area.
I have a nice time,
I choose to dine
at Vaso Azzurro.
Delicious food, charming service. Always a good time at my "local".
Owner Micheal and his fun attitude and his singing are awesome!
Excellent food, good selection of vegetarian and vegan entrees. Good service despite being a crowded Friday night dinner. Well rounded collection of coffees and desserts.
The staff was so friendly and really made the night special for us as we were celebrating our anniversary.
Very lovely, the service was excellent and we felt very welcomed.
My son choose this wonderful family turned restaurant to celebrate his birthday on Friday. Everyone made us feel like family. They had the entire restaurant singing Happy Birthday. Our service exceeded my high expectationss. The food was equally delicious. Can't wait to return so in. The so much everyone.
Great experience. Service was excellent, veal was tasty, and the linguini was perfect.
This place never disappoints . The food was good although I was surprised when the waiter didn't bring us appetizer dishes to go with our caprese salad. We had to use our bread plates. Usually the bread is warm and fresh but this night it was overdone and I am thinking not fresh. For the most part I have never had a bad meal here. I'll be there again
Vaso Azzuro has become our family's go to place for celebrations. Good food, good music, good vibes!
Nothing special about the food. The waiter did not offer any parmesan cheese. A staff member sang loud and poorly with the musicians.
We were here two months ago and had excellent meals with superior service in a relaxed and relatively quiet atmosphere; so we returned. The second experience was completely different and disappointing. I ordered the same entree and the sauce was heavier and less flavorful. The service was indifferent, and we were soon scrunched by a large party of young men that they rearranged tables to accommodate. One of the men was seated with the back of his chair a few inches from our table. The room became so noisy, we could not carry on a conversation.
Service was great, especially the fabulous singing of Happy Birthday where they get the whole restaurant to join in.
Service and ambiance were sufficient, but the food was absolutely outstanding. I had the lasagna which was crazy good. Everything tasted fresh and the cheese had a great smoky flavor.
For dessert I had the apple strudel which was mind blowing. The puff pastry was cooked perfectly and the caramel sauce and vanilla gelato mixed with the pastry was an incredible bite.
The only downside was they only had Italian soda, not Italian cream soda.
A family owned restaurant with amazing service and food. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening!
Great place for dinner. We have enjoyed the food, service and ambiance at this restaurant every time we have been. Consistently excellent. Jn
Best restaurant in Mountain View. Excellent food, always good service. Frequently have live music
Vaso Azzurro is a 'neighborhood gem' that serves very good Northern Italian cuisine. The entrees are seasoned well and expertly prepared. There are a wide array of selections and they also have a good wine list. The atmosphere is friendly and the owners take pride in knowing their customers. This is a very good restaurant.
No Bloody Mary mix, love the live music, good vibe in the place
I went to Vaso Azzurro with other family right after Youth Orchestra concert. The place remind me in Italy and food was so good and there are live professional vocal singing for next table birthday. I will definitely visit back on my birthday.
One of our favorite spots! The Sadri family is amazing and so is their restaurant. They make us feel like family!
The food was really good. But me and my wife don't get to go out very often and it was very disappointing to have a waiter that did not check on our table. I had to get up and walk to the bar to get a glass of wine. He didn't say anything when dropping our check off. Didn't offer a dessert menu, the greeter stopped by to ask if we had seen a dessert menu otherwise I don't know if we would have ever gotten it.
Everything was absolutely great. We will continue to visit this restaurant often. Jerry
Food was amazing! Service was wonderful and we loved the live jazz.
There were very few occupied tables and at least three waiters, however until we waived to the waiters no server comes around to serve us. We just waited and waited for our water, to order our food, to get our food etc etc. until waive to the waiters. Food was good. As for service , there was NONE. I will not invite my friends to this restaurant again. SO EMBARRASSED
Our “go to” restaurant when we want good food and a very welcoming atmosphere. The family is always present to be sure things are running smoothly. Lots of energy and happiness in the restaurant.
great place for a causal business dinner. Service was excellent. Disappointed in the risotto - not at all creamy.
Great food and service. Quiet, so one can speak with others.
Our experience at Vaso Azzurro was just lovely. We had the fortune to sit at the "Chef's Table" in the very back and chatted with the chef throughout the evening. He is a wonderful fellow, with a lovely sense of humor and a larger than life personality! It made for a very fun evening. Our party of 6 was there on a Friday night and they had some live musicians playing that evening. We were all very glad to be at the very back of the restaurant and the musicians at the front, as it was pretty tricky to hear any conversation with the instruments playing and singer blasting his song in full volume. It might have been much more conducive to conversation had the players NOT been amplified and just acoustical. The food was very good. Well thought out and executed. I had the Seafood Risotto, which was delicious. And the rest of the dishes looked quite good. My husband asked for a plate of marinara sauce over noodles and it was also quite tasty. We would go back again, but not on a night where there is a band, as it's just not very good for lively conversation. Great atmosphere and the service was top notch!
Warm welcoming atmosphere host and waitstaff. Had a wonderful meal and enjoyed the Jazz combo and the standards sung by the host.
