The pizza is still great. The service, however went downhill. It feels like they are doing you a favor when they take your order. No wonder why the place which used to be packed is now completely empty. It’s a shame because the pizza is one of the best in town.

bottomless wine and pizza is no mas :( now the bottomless wine pricing is no different than grabbing a bottle yourself, otherwise when you add a pizza and you're in $30.00 range. 3 people: three basic pizzas, 3 'bottomless' wines, two desserts $162.37 OUCH !!!!

Awesome! Will be back! Owner fixed us several pizzas to try lots of different things. All were fantastic! The doughnuts and pizzette were delicious!

We love eating here but tonight I literally refilled our own drinks after being ignored....
Coke, Diet Coke, etc at the station near the restrooms - just got up, refilled and walked back to the table...
Never saw our waiter again - little skinny-jeans white guy....(dont know his name) but Jeff needs some serious help with his help!!!

The pizza was soggy and exceedingly oily, with almost no cheese throughout. Much better Napoletana-style pizza can be found at Antico or Ammazza - not worth the hassle or the trip. The waitress also was nowhere to be found when it came time to collect our form of payment - we had to wait almost 10 minutes, then walk around the restaurant, find a different waitress, and get her to ring us up instead.

The food was great, but the servers were not as friendly. When we walked in, the staff looked at us like we had a duck on our heads. If it were not for the fact that a friend recommended the place, I may have walked out. Food good, but service could have been better.

The pizza was the best I have ever had. I do not know why it took me so long to check this place out. I will not be able to eat pizza anywhere else now.

We really enjoyed this spot for brunch. For $15 you can have all the bottomless mimosas, blood mary's or bellini's you want. The brunch food and the pizza were soo good! Our only complaint was that the food came out one at a time, some times 5-10 minutes in between.

One of my top three pizza places in Atlanta (Shorty's is the other contender). Would always recommend this place. Fresh products, quality preparation and worthy the effort for anyone to go (more adult than a kids-eat-free place) - updated review : they've changed their wine special on Tuesdays, not as good a value as it had been

This restaurant has gone downhill. The service was terrible . We had to wait a long time to get service, and got it only after I flagged down a server. Slow service throughout the meal.

We always find ourselves going back, with and without the kids! The pizza is my favorite authentic find in Atlanta, if you're in the mood for true Italian food. The salumi plate is great to eat with wine.

Varasano's is just ok. I don't think it's better than any other pizza I've had in town, including Antico. The server was very nice, and things came out fairly swiftly. There was just nothing memorable about it. We had the Meatballs, which I cannot recommend, plus the Margherita Di Bufala pizza. The pizza wasn't bad, but again, nothing special. I was disappointed, as I've always heard it was the best in town. Plus, the restaurant itself is pretty boring; there's no charm. It's very utilitarian. I didn't hate it, but I won't be back.

As one of the supposedly "best pizza places" in Atlanta, I was thoroughly disappointed. While their pizza tastes pretty good, it comes smothered in oil. Greasy pizza is one thing, but when you go to pick up a slice and all of your toppings fall off (in my case just mozz and basil on the marg), that's just not OK. Apparently this is the norm, as I even asked the waitress if their pizza is usually this greasy, and her reply was a timid, "yeah". All in all, there are so many better places to get pizza in Atlanta: Varuni Napoli, Fritti, Ammazza, Anitico... the list goes on.

It had been a while since we had been there & found the place to feel very run down/tired looking - tattered chairs & worn tables. Ordered cocktails/wine from the menu & the bar wasn't stocked with those items, so we had to order something else. The pizzas were still pretty good though.

The caprese salad was divine, I could drink that aged balsamic. The pizza did not disappoint, we loved the subtle char on the outside.

Better than Antico's and I don't say that lightly.

The meats and the crust are just impeccable.

It was the best pizza I have ever had!

In the past Varasano's Pizzeria has been excellent. The night I visited, everything seemed to be off the minute we walked in the door. The host was new and not very friendly. The owner was there and really didn't seem to have things under control. Our sever was fine and while talking to us, the new host was trying to get her to go to another table. I thought that was very rude. Maybe he is going through a learning curve. The pizza was very charred. I like a little char but not 3/4 of the pizza. The restaurant is showing it age. From paint coming off the columns, to the bad reupholstered booth seating. I'll go back to give it one more try. When I do if nothing has changed, good-bye Varasano's Pizzeria.

This is been one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta for years. Not anymore. The chair and they put me on was in shreds. Half of the pizza had no cheese on it. Their prices have gone up lately and the size of the salads has gone down. Made me feel terrible for sending back my pizza that was pitiful.

Great restaurant, but they seemed to have trouble gearing up for Mother's Day brunch and getting out of the starting gate. We were a little disappointed to see that they had compacted their brunch menu, but they did say they had decided to go back to a larger brunch offering in the next few weeks.

Restaurant was not open due to "electrical" issues. Never received call regarding my reservation regarding the situation. We only found out when arriving at the restaurant and posting on restaurant door. Have no way to rate so that is why they only received one star.

The food was good but there was a baby shower going on which was very loud and disruptive to other diners. They should not host such large crowds unless they have a private room to host them. As a result, the service was also fairly slow and our waiter quit in the middle of our visit, per the manager who apologized for it all. All in all, I would go back as the salad and pizza were very fresh and good!
