Service was amazing - definitely above and beyond.
Very pretty decor, the tables were set apart, the food was very good and the wait staff were fun and friendly. We were celebrating our 18 year old choosing his college after a long process.
The food was as good as it has ever been, unfortunately, it look like staffing was the issue. As the evening wore on the sever was less and less available, causing the last half hour to be painful in terms of attention from service
The lamb shank was amazing. And the pork belly and octopus appetizer was great. I must try.
Not good. I usually don’t take the time write reviews, but this was necessary. Saw the autographed plates on the wall as soon as we walked in gave me high hopes that this was going to be a great dining experience. Nice ambience for a Wednesday night. The server was unfriendly in the beginning, as though they are ready for their shift to end. Then the server became friendlier once they realize we barely ate any of our food as it wasn’t tasty. Free bread in the beginning was old, not good. This was the first tell. Then Ordered: meatballs (it was cold inside, as though it was sitting out all day and they microwaved it warm it up); parmesan risotto (very good! The best thing I had all night!); spinach pizza (it was ok); delmonico (terrible as though the meat was in inventory for a while and waiting to be ordered); stuffed chicken parm (not traditional, not good); ricotta cannelloni (not good, actually the best part is the melted mozzarella on top, pasta itself was not worth the carbs. I ate two bc I felt bad); burrata (I’ve had better, tasted like it’s been sitting in the fridge). I guess server overheard us complain at how unappetizing it was and saw that we weren’t eating most of it, so she gave us a discount which I appreciate. However we will not be going back. Time for Tagamet :(
had a great evening at Vallozzie's in Pittsburgh. Service was great and food was fantastic! look forward to going back in the future! The Bolognese was fantastic!
Pleasant surprise. We will be back!
The food was excellent, It was the 2nd time to the restaurant, the 1st was great and we wanted to follow up and see if it was for real. It Was!!!! Everything was great and our server David did a fantastic job. We will definitely return.
If you are going to dine at Vallozzi's i recommend the bar area. Eva and Stephanie will make your dining experience awesome!
A great staple in Pittsburgh with very good food. Our waiter had an edge to him and was not friendly, but we enjoyed the evening.
Wonderful food and very friendly service! Super cute restaurant!
Dinner last night was great. Our server/bartender Eva made perfect drinks and was very helpful in explaining some of the new dishes on the menu. Had the latest version of Arancini which was very tasty and the Barbabietola beet salad which was delicious. All together a wonderful evening.
The pork chop was tender, tasty, very well prepared and served nicely with a bed of spinach and polenta. However, the topping, consisting of olives, hot peppers, artichokes and some other ingredients was too pungent for my taste. Once the topping was set aside, I enjoyed the chop very much. The arancini were the best I have had.
Excellent meals and service. Always a great dining choice!
We seldom eat out due to the pandemic. We were pleased at the cleanliness of the bar area and the restrooms. This made us feel safe and relaxed.
Service was excellent and the food, as always, very, very good.
Amazing food!! Such a great dinner and great service!!
First time there but definitely won't be our last. Service was great, lovely ambiance, and food outstanding!!
Love this restaurant!! It is our second time back. Food and service were both excellent. Highly recommend.
Great food, great service, great ambience. Cheesecake dessert was amazing. Highly recommend for a special occasion or romantic dinner
Food cam out cold - had to send it back. Basically tastes like olive garden with homemade noodles. Way overpriced for quality. Way better Italian available in Pittsburgh for this price range
Fantastic Valentine’s dinner and experience. The Frommagio appetizer is especially excellent.
Food was very good . The portions were very large and service was great too . Will definitely go back .
Cozy atmosphere and a varied menu. Excellent salad with crispy prosciutto & pistachios. Pasta Bolognese and Scallops beautifully done. Bravo!
Very nice setting on a quiet night in Pittsburgh. Service was good. Food arrived in a timely manner and hot. Very large portions. Desserts could be improved upon.
Not as good as the Greensburg restaurant. Ambiance not as warm and inviting. A VERY limited menu - only 1 filet size, no NY Strip or Lamb. Large wine list but no descriptions or pairing suggestions. Service was average. NOT at the same level as Grbg.
A really good spot for nice dining with friends or a date. Bolognese was delicious and the filet was seasoned perfectly. Our server was very friendly. Will be dining here again
The food is always excellent! Eva was outstanding serving us as always!!
Outstanding downtown experience. Superior food served with a beautiful presentation.
The best Seafood risotto in the Tri- State!! Try to have it every few weeks!
Salmon was outstanding and they prepared it for me gluten free!
We dined there for my husband’s birthday and everything was just terrific. Super cocktails, delicious entrees and great service! Thanks so much to the entire team - you are doing a great job under trying circumstances. We look forward to seeing you again
Gnocchi was outstanding!
Service was excellent, atmosphere quiet and relaxed, wine list is phenomenal and the food was perfectly prepared and delicious.
Great food and ambiance. Will be back.
Excellent as usual. This is one of my go to places.
Birthday celebration in Pittsburgh (out of town visitors) - everything was terrific!
Never disappoints! Great ambiance, great service, great wine list and consistently great food.
Favorite restaurant in the city! We celebrate everything form a night out to birthdays to anniversaries here and we are never disappointed.
