A really good spot for nice dining with friends or a date. Bolognese was delicious and the filet was seasoned perfectly. Our server was very friendly. Will be dining here again
The food is always excellent! Eva was outstanding serving us as always!!
Outstanding downtown experience. Superior food served with a beautiful presentation.
The best Seafood risotto in the Tri- State!! Try to have it every few weeks!
Salmon was outstanding and they prepared it for me gluten free!
We dined there for my husband’s birthday and everything was just terrific. Super cocktails, delicious entrees and great service! Thanks so much to the entire team - you are doing a great job under trying circumstances. We look forward to seeing you again
Gnocchi was outstanding!
Service was excellent, atmosphere quiet and relaxed, wine list is phenomenal and the food was perfectly prepared and delicious.
Great food and ambiance. Will be back.
Excellent as usual. This is one of my go to places.
Birthday celebration in Pittsburgh (out of town visitors) - everything was terrific!
Never disappoints! Great ambiance, great service, great wine list and consistently great food.
Favorite restaurant in the city! We celebrate everything form a night out to birthdays to anniversaries here and we are never disappointed.
Lovely evening with good food, service, and ambiance!
Anthony was excellent and efficient.
The food was superb. The brussel sprouts were a little bland, but we had a great time. I would strongly encourage you to sit and enjoy.
Food was pretty good for a decent price. Service was average. Nice spot in downtown Pittsburgh. Restaurant is very nice
Great restaurant. Trendy, upscale decor. Delicious food and excellent service. Perfect martinis.
I highly recommend Vallozzi’s for lunch or dinner.
The staff followed Covid 19 restrictions perfectly. We were very comfortable with our restaurant selection.
For easy traffic/parking, we parked at Station Square and took the T over to the Wood Street station, close to the restaurant. After dinner, we took an Uber back to our parked car.
As a regular patron of Vallozzi's I can confidently recommend it to anyone interested in great food, great wine and service to match.
Service was terrific, bar area was comfortable, all was good except for here in the food. A big turn off!
Food was great and the service was attentive and outstanding.
One of the best meals were have ever had! The scallops and pork belly were delicious, the pasta is handmade to perfection, and all of the appetizers paired so well. Great food, helpful staff, warming ambience!
We were excited to find that Vallozzi's had re-opened! The food is always exceptional and the service is beyond that! Stephanie is one of our favorite servers and always treats us as family! I highly recommend requesting bar seating and having Stephanie take care of you for the evening!! You wont be disappointed
Amazing food, considerate staff, comfortable atmosphere. Will go here again and again!
Dominique was outstanding as our server! Love the table set up in the bar area. they should keep it this way!
Great place, great atmosphere, great food, will definitely be back.
Excellent restaurant....service, food , and setting!
Return customer. Love the food here. This time for lunch. Soup was fantastic, as was the salmon. Service was exceptional. However, $80 for lunch for 2 is a bit crazy. Entree's were $16+, and when you add soup and a drink...gets a bit nuts price wise. While I love this place, could not afford to dine here more than a couple times a year.
Excellent food, drinks and service. I was really impressed by the pecorino budini appetizer and also enjoyed the polipo appetizer and the fettuccine carbonara.
I had ordered the pork chop. it was too rare in the middle so I sent it back. They did cook it more and did not charge me for it. They apologized and also gave us free desert. With that said I was disappointed I was not eating with my wife as I had to wait for the pork chop to be cooked again but they took care of the situation. I would like to return and hopefully not have any issues.
Our family met at Vallozzi's for a family dinner night and our experience could not have been more pleasant. Awesome staff, fabulous food and wonderful atmosphere. We would definitely visit again.
I enjoyed my wine but was disappointed that the bar was closed for a private party and I was not able to get HH pricing.
Enjoyed the salmon dinner and shared rosotto side.
Great meal The waitress was attentive. The scallops were excellent.
One of my favorite business dining experiences.
Excellent lunch and great Service, Amanda was extremely pleasant and provided superb service.
I really want to like this place as it is well located and i love Italian, but it just fails to deliver. We had the Tuna Carpaccio as an appetizer and it came upon a salt block. Three small pieces of tuna covered in shredded vegetables. Horrible value and not good. Honestly it shouldnt even be on the menu. Next we had the Insalata Mista salad and it was just very bland. Lastly we shared the PAPPARDELLE BOSCAIOLA and it was good but not great. All in all a very average dinner.
Excellent food and service. We will be back!
We enjoyed the unique buffalo mozzarella tasting and shared a superb risotto di mare with an abundance of shrimp, perfectly seared scallops and lobster.
Vallozzi's has excellent service. The food is divine and the decor is soothing, Can't wait to go again.
We were visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend and I found Vallozzi’s on Open Table, it had good reviews so decided to give it a shot. It did NOT disappoint!!! Best meal I’ve had in a couple years, I’d say, from start to finish. I had the Risotto di Mare which was incredible, and my husband had the (apparently award-winning) pork raviolis, which were also phenomenal. My son who is 9 loved the risotto ball and prosciutto sampler appetizers, as well as his pizza. His high praise was :”I think I like this even better than Wendy’s!”!!! Our server was top-notch as well, even though it was a busy Saturday night. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town!
Wonderful experience! Valet parked across the street ($10.) Seated promptly for a 6 p.m. reservation on a Saturday evening. Service was very good (perfect blend of meeting our needs; but, not overbearing or intrusive in any way. Thank you, Stephanie.) Starters were arancini, shrimp cocktail, and prosciutto sampler, (enjoyed in that order.) Entrees were 10 oz. filet, crab cakes, and Risotto Di Mare (seafood Risotto,) (enjoyed in that order.) Please note, the filet was excellent... one of the best our table had tasted in years! Cooked to perfection and glazed beautifully. (An absolute steal at $37.) Dessert was tiramisu and spice cake. Both were good; but, I was unable to locate something chocolate..., or more appropriate, something "death by chocolate-esque!" (Especially on Valentine's Day Weekend!) Seems like a definite missed opportunity. Aside from the glaring oversight, the meal was wonderful. Great atmosphere, attentive staff, delicious food and wine! Will definitely visit again in the very near future.
