The Tap House specializes in Baltimore Style Pit Meat. This preparation involves rubbing a high-quality piece of meat with a special housemade spice mixture and allowing it to marinate for three days. The meat is then seared on a specially installed pit grill which chars the outside and cooks it juicy and tender on the inside. Finally it is sliced paper thin and served on a kaiser roll. A variety of meats are pit grilled in this fashion and served according to your desires. Popular choices include the Pit Beef served with raw onions and homemade horseradish sauce or the Pit Ham served with swiss cheese, grilled peppers, onions and a homemade honey dijon sauce. Additionally, a diner can choose from a menu including gourmet hamburgers, home baked pretzels, ale steamed mussels, shells & cheese, parm crusted halibut, and a full selection of desserts. Vegetarian options are available and our staff would be happy to accommodate dietary needs.

The food and service was good. Cleanliness could/ should be improved. The metal bucket the appetizer was served it was rusty, not cool! The tables were so sticky you couldn't put your arm down. Good cleaning and replacing will go a long way!

We went for breakfast on a Sunday and there was hardly anybody there, but it filled up more while we were there. Our entrees were okay and ample, but very tepid.

People were nice...very inviting Sports Bar atmosphere...wide selection of was varied with something for everyone.
But! How does $17.50 for Fish and Chips or $14.50 for a cheeseburger hit you? A plain burger will set you back $11.50! $14.50 for a Fish Sandwich. Yikes!! Do the math.
Unlikely we'll be back...simply not a good value.

It was good. Really quiet since it was super bowl Sunday. Our food came fast and our server was really nice. Would go again. Plus all of there brunch dishes come with a mimosa which is awesome.

You go to a restaurant to enjoy good food... unfortunately the food was subpar. My buffalo pit sandwich didn't have blue cheese dressing or crumbles, both of which were in the description. Meat was bland, as was Philly cheesesteak. Others in ourparty were not impressed by food either. Disappointing... should have been half the price.

A surprise experience! Excellent , unexpected food combinations made on site which were tasty & healrhy. Our server was very polite & informative ; not in a big hurry . We'll Definitely be back :-)

This was our first time dining here, we had a reservation and were seated immediately. The menu had a nice variety of dishes and a great beer list. We all ordered something different, a salad, a pizza, a pit beef sandwich and the meatloaf all of which were delicious! We also found the atmosphere not overly loud and we were able to carry on a comfortable conversation. We all agreed that we would definitely be back.
