   We were greeted with a smile and quick/ no rush follow thru to out table outside. Waitperson was super, sorry I didn't get her name. Polite friendly and very service minded to make us enjoy our lunch. She really GOOD. Food was fresh; salad I had was on spot. The Crabcakes my wife has was FULL of crab....not filler. her salad was very good, she said. On a gorgeous day like today it was the place to be. Of course we will be back again. Been here for dinner equal to our experience at lunch and more than ONCE jut th two of us and with a party of six. Service was the same, food the same...wonderful. My only request is PLEASE IMPOVE the wine list... it needs help, real help. Tom

   Taking into account a pre-fixe dinner menu, the holiday (Easter Sunday) & the fact that there were several large parties dining alongside us own larger party this evening, it went about as well as could be expected. Everything we ordered was delicious… but arrived lukewarm to cold in temperature. There was no rhyme or reason with how our courses arrived— we had entrees being served alongside appetizers, some entrees & appetizers forgotten, etc etc. One person in our party got her entree 5 min before her dessert was presented. All in all, the wait team rallied to get us thru our meal and were beyond gracious considering a very, very full house.

   Booked this restaurant based on a friend’s recommendation. The entire experience was awful. First, the directions linked to Open Table did not take us to the correct location . When we made it to the spot, parking was atrocious. The lot was over crowded and dangerous, definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Once you were there it was very difficult to turn around. We ended up parking illegally a distance up the hill. Being dressed in a suit and high heels made the trek down to the restaurant difficult. Once we were checked in there was a wait for our table and many tables sat empty and dirty. The staff was pleasant but couldn’t keep up. Missed orders, lack of water. When the food arrived none of the dishes were appealing. Now, I should mention it was Easter Sunday and the place was crowded. I was so disappointed because the view was beautiful and the place has so much potential. But based on this visit I am not likely to return to give it another try.

   We went for the Easter brunch. While overall it was good, it was not without some minor issues that I'll chalk up to being a busy holiday event. Our waitress while super nice was a bit off - she brought us the wrong drink order and our food took a very long time to come while we were seeing others seated after us getting their food. The lobster bisque, while delicious, was cold - meaning it must be amazing if served hot! The eggs benedict was supposed to be served with shaved ham, but came instead with an overdone sliced ham steak. I will be back to try on a non-holiday. The place itself is super charming and has very cool grounds that you can hike before or after your meal. The only other issue we encountered is the parking - because of all the trails a lot of people are here, and while they attempt to manage parking at the top of the hill, they don't count so we were left to awkwardly back-up and find other parking.

   Service was slow. Asked for sugar for coffee, bread for the one kid, and another cocktail, and never got them. The food was cold when it finally arrived at the table. Overall, not a good experience.

   I've never been to Valley Green Inn before and it did not disappoint. We went for Easter brunch for a prix fix menu and it was hard to decide because the selections all looked wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, had a lot to doggy bag to take home and we appreciated the thoughtful service. We wondered why we had never been here before.

   Service and ambiance was amazing. Food was mediocre. They had a wedding earlier in the day and I think that tapped them out. Have had better food in other visits.

   We have been to Valley Green many times have never had any complaints. However we were a table of 4 for lunch and the food was just plain sloppy. The salads looked like someone had just poured a bunch of pre-bagged greens into a bowl and threw on a few died cherries and walnuts that were almost stale. The accompanying salmon was edible. The French fries were not great and over salted. Someone needs to check what’s coming out of the kitchen more often.
