Just Amazing. We did the Chef’s choice tasting menu. Rack tasting was excellent. The scallops were amazing, and so was the duck, and so was the buffalo, oh and so was the halibut! Really? The presentations matches the food. Our server was Will and he was backed up by Isaac. Both were great and very knowledgeable of the menu. It was a great dining experience.

Wonderful restaurant. Innovative dishes, artfully presented, high quality and super tasty. Love that you can see the chef in action. Servers are always extremely helpful and engaging. Overall one of the best places I have ever dined (this was my second time here).
The scallop en croute appetizer is amazing!
Valette was simply outstanding. The food was fresh, unique, and creative. The setting is warm and current. The charcuterie was to incredible. The halibut had a burst of fresh flavors. This is a restaurant not to miss if you are in the area.

Front to back, a wonderful experience. Everything from our server’s humor and candor to Bob Valette’s making the rounds at the front of the house, a great night all around. Oh, the food was awesome, too! A fun, non-stuffy way to taste the chef’s favorites.
The noise level was excessive to the point that we could not talk with each other in a normal voice; most unpleasant. I have recommended your restaurant to other people in the past but am hesitant to do so in the future due to the noise level. Regardless, you do a very good job.

Excellent experience. I was really happy with the vegetarian entree of their ‘falafel’ option—just super flavorful and spunky. My dining companion really enjoyed the meats of the charcuterie board. I think there is something for everyone here. Great flavors.
My BFF and I enjoyed a fabulous meal at Valette; it was our first time there. We were seated immediately at time of our reservation, everyone was welcoming and informative. A little bit noisy with those high ceilings but ambience elegant not stuffy. Looking forward to returning!

Our favorite meal while visiting Healdsburg. Food and service were outstanding. Our only regret was not getting the scallop pastry appetizer, which we saw after we had already ordered. Tuna appetizer and filet main were five stars. Would highly recommend.
Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and entertaining! Our food was beautifully displayed and oh so tasty. I ordered the halibut and it melted in my mouth. I was warned the plate was hot, which it was, but - if there is any critique - the halibut could have been warmer.
Valette offered an excellent combination of great food and strong service. The scallop soufflés was particularly inventive and flavorful as was the duck. Our server was entertaining and quite helpful and knowledgeable. The wine list is extensive and the sommelier engaged is in a helpful conversation about Sonoma wineries.
Our party did the 5 course tasting. The food was incredible and the experience was so much fun.

We ordered the Tomato Salad the the Scallop and caviar for our appetizers. Both were amazing. They make an amazing homemade roll and their butter is incredible.
We decided to share the steak and ordered the side of corn.
I loved that our server helped us make our food choices.
Their mushrooms were probably some of the best I ever have had.
And don’t leave without their candy bar for dessert.

From a family with a history of bakers, don't miss any dishes incorporated baked goods. The puffed pastry over scallops delighted everyone at the table, house made cured meats melted in our mouths. Try anything - great food, nice people, great wine.
Our meal at Valette couldn't have been better. From our Scallop puff pastry appetizer to our Halibut main course, the food and service was excellent. The Scallops are highly recommended as an appetizer and the flavor combination of the ingredients in the Halibut main course where very creative and delicious. Our server was very helpful with explaining each course that arrived and the flavors of each. Excellent service for the entire staff. We will definitely return to Valette the next time we are in Healdsburg.
Food was creative, delicious and attractive. But the noise was deafening. We could not hear the server or people who deliver the food to the table. We could not converse with people at our table and there was only three of us. I would not return solely because noise detracted from enjoying our dinners.

This is one the best restaurants I have eaten at around the globe. The tasting menu is the way to go.
The food is truly outstanding and we had a very helpful server who comped us dessert because we mentioned how uncomfortable the noise level is. We were told ”they are working on it” and I hope they do because it really detracted from what would have been a wonderful meal. I mean painfully noisy.
My husband and I went to Valette for our wedding anniversary. They greeted us with a card and complimentary sparkling wine, which was a very nice touch. The manager also greeted us as we waited for our table to become available and offered us a charcuterie board. The food was so delicious, I had the halibut and my husband the pork, followed by the chef’s version of strawberry shortcake that was perfect. The ambiance was modern yet rustic with an open kitchen. We were so impressed and truly loved our dining experience!

We had a very memorable dining experience at Valette for a special birthday! First off was a great experience calling to move our time in a full restaurant.
We found the staff wonderful, did not feel rushed and the food and presentation was outstanding.
We started with the Ahi Poke and the Day Boat Scallops En Croute - just beautiful and delicious. Our mains were the Duck Confit and Halibut. The duck was outstanding-cooked to perfection and lovely presentation. My halibut was beautifully presented but was the only item I did not love-not a lot of flavor and presented almost sushi style but cooked nicely, the tomato sauce topping also rather bland.
The S’Mores dessert delish. We did bring a vintage champagne with us for a $25 corkage and husband had a glass of Pinot with the duck-all in all an outstanding meal and a great memory!

Good for a one time try. Really strong butchery smell when you enter the restaurant which was a tad off putting. Tables (against the wall of the outer perimeter of the place) are too close together. No privacy while talking/dining. Felt like our table neighbors were practically sitting with us. I tried a glass of Rose, which was okay at first and the more I drank, the more it tasted like cough syrup. Food was creative and overall flavor profiles were enjoyable. Had the halibut, tuna and squash soup. Dessert was a slice of peanut butter and chocolate ganache pie. It was mimicked many other such dessert combos that I've had at other places. Overall a good (not great) dining experience. For the price, would say try it, but not a place I would go back to again given all the other dining choices in the area.
