All our restaurants in Sonoma County can only serve guests outside due to Covid. The city opened up the sidewalks to accommodate diners. Dustin has one of the larger spaces. They built a wooden floor, hung cloth panels for walls and lined the perimeter with a variety of plants. It looks and feels like a restaurant. The food was excellent. I had the filet and my wife had the duck—both cooked perfectly. The steak tartare was perfect. We finished with a passion fruit vanilla panne cotta. And the drinks were well made. Dining at Valletta’s is as close to the “old normal” as you can get.
Fantastic food and great service. Have handled the outdoor dining very nicely with a beautiful deck. Signature dish - scallops en croute - was a great starter. One of the best steaks I've ever had, with puffed beef tendons and mushrooms. Halibut was superb. Server (Heather) was knowledgeable, attentive and charming.

Outdoor dining at its best. Wonderful new “parklet” adjacent to main dining room. Not all restaurants can achieve the same high level experience outside. Valette does so quite nicely. Not easy on the pocketbook but worth every dollar.

Valette is our absolute favorite! We went for the first time the night my husband proposed and over the last three years, every time we visit Healdsburg, we go! It’s our special spot. The food is delicious, the wine is fantastic, and best of all, everyone is so nice and friendly. Highly, highly recommend, even during COVID-times. Their parklet is gorgeous! Everything the Valette team does is phenomenal.
This was our 1st time eating at Valette and now it is our favorite restaurant in Healdsburg. We look forward to dining with you again when we are in the area. Thanks.
We read some very positive reviews of Valette, being maybe one of the best places to dine in Healdsburg. Food and service were good, but nothing outstanding. Not really better or worse than many of the restaurants we've been to in the area.
The tasting menu was amazing - it felt like we had a chance to sample everything they were making. Covid controls were very evident, and led to a high level of comfort.

Such an amazing experience and probably my favorite dining experience in the past 18 months or so Thad I’ve lived in the Bay Area.
This was our first time dining at Valette. I was looking forward to trying the scallops. They were very good and did not disappoint, the en croute is quite the presentation with two scallops nestled inside. Our waiter cut a hole in the top and poured the caviar infused sauce over the scallops and cut into the dish splitting it between us. It was delicious!
However, I have to say the semolina pasta was my favorite. The delicate pasta was so cooked perfectly with just enough creamy sauce clinging to each bite. The diced zucchini and yellow squash were lightly cooked and had a firmness that’s added freshness to this indulgent dish. The epicuren grade prosciutto was the decadent treat to round out the flavor profile of this dish. I could have eaten the whole plate myself!
The ahi poke was also a winner. The chunks of fresh poki layered onto the seaweed chips, the warm tempura fried avocado slices along with the fresh seaweed was like a celebration in my mouth. I will definitely get this again!!
We also shared the vegetarian entree, corn fritters with liquid tortilla and mole sauce. These were good but after a couple of bites they were just ok. These would be better as an appetizer instead of an entree IMO.
My husband and I shared all of these dishes along with the bread and butter and we were satisfied but not stuffed. I’d love to go back and try the filet and I will definitely be getting the semolina pasta again.
So happy to find this gem in downtown Healdsburg was accepting reservations for a limited number of in-door dining groups, and even more pleased to get a reservation over the July 4th weekend. Beautiful, stylish space with friendly and welcoming staff! And the food was absolutely delicious with generous portions, at a very reasonable price. Several individuals stopped by our table to inquire how our dinner was and we were surprised to find out that one gentleman was the father of the 2 brothers that own the restaurant! Extremely pleased with our meal and we will definitely return........strongly recommend a visit to this lovely establishment! 😊

As usual, service warm and knowledgeable. Food supremely fresh, menu inventive and hearty ... interesting but not pretentious. A town jewel. Oh and the pasta appetizer always different, always a must.
For starters, my wife had the Sonoma Salad and I had the Scallops en Croute. Delicious! Then she had the Lamb Duo and I had the Duck Breast. Both were prepared to perfection! For my birthday, I received a menu with my name printed on top of the menu signed by the chef and kitchen staff. I also received a birthday card and a complimentary Chocolate Bloc for dessert. Our server Frank was friendly and efficiently took great care of us. Another gentleman stopped by and chatted with us to make sure we enjoyed our dinner, twice. Valette is a precious gem. We are looking forward to our next visit. We simply can’t wait!
Our evening out at Valette was the first night my husband and I ventured out. We felt so comfortable and safe dining at Valette and their staff was fabulous. From the time we arrived to the time we left we felt safe and everyone followed great amount of safety precautions. And it felt so GOOD to see our friends again at Valette. So happy they all returned and were safe and healthy. It always feels like we are entering CHEERS when we arrive.

We had to wait a few minutes for our reservation which is no big deal to us on a beautiful night. We received complimentary wine and a charcuterie platter. How nice was that! Best salad app I have ever had. Fish main dishes were fantastic. Favorite meal of our trip!

It was Father’s Day we really enjoyed going to Valette restaurant it was so much fun there our appetizers and Entrees were off hook delicious and flavorful plus I enjoyed lattes there with they deserts there and it was special for my dad we are bless to have a wonderful waitress there she was on her game and we will defiantly be back for the new Valette soon thank you a lot many thanks !!!😀😀😎😎😎
