Really good food, well prepared and delicious. Even better service! We had only fish and vegetarian dishes—all very good but I suspect the meats (and duck) are the stars of this show. Beautiful tuna poke— our fave. We will be back!

A comfortable and roomy space with the pride cured meats on attractive display. Two brothers have created a Sonoma gem. In front a warm greeting and an attentive approach to ensure all as well. From the kitchen a well executed menu focused on Somnoma and CA seasonal options. Would happily return on next visit.

We had a wonderful dinner for our anniversary. Service was excellent! We started with the charcuterie plate which was amazing. Love the house made meats and mustards. We both had the steak which was very tasty but a little chewy. When I had part of my steak for lunch the next day, I realized I must have had a dull knife at restaurant and that was why I had difficulty cutting. Noise level in restaurant is only problem, everyone having fun!
Too much pepper on everything. From butter to entree. Noisy. Over hyped.
A perfect balance of senses - sight, smell and taste -the food that comes to your table is sheer perfection.

We had been to Vallette on a previous visit and thought it was excellent then. Somehow they seem to have found a way to raise that bar since then. Every course, every entree was fantastic. Service was fantastic. We can't say enough good things & look forward to another future visit!
It’s was outrageously perfect! Chefs tasting menu of 6 courses was a brilliant no brainer for us. Let the chef handle it. Sit back drink your wine from extensive list and enjoy it all. . Every dish spectacular. Service delightful. All 6 in our party were amazed and still talking about it today! Best meal I’ve had in a long time. Went may if 2017 and it was excellent not sure how it could get better but it did! Culinary perfection. Thank you Valette!

Not enough superlatives for this place. OUTSTANDING! It was our anniversary and they treated us like royalty. We tried the tasting menu and every dish was beautiful and delicious. At the end of our meal, they brought us a special dessert and a handwritten 'Happy Anniversary' card from Dustin. Who does that? It was very touching and appreciated and was the perfect end to a perfect evening.

The service was seamless, I honestly felt like I was at a michelin star restaurant. The owner goes around to all the tables and is so delightful, he sincerely cares about your dining experience. Highly recommend foodies to check it out. It's just gorgeous

Food was amazing. Service was very attentive without being bothersome. Wish it was a little quieter, but wan’t so loud that we wouldn’t go back. Everything was delicious, and the day boat scallops, the tempura asparagus, and the bone marrow was the best we’ve ever had.

Great service . I eat out a lot at fine dining and my dinner was just poorly executed. I had a blackened fish that was slimy and not blackened with soggy skin over a odd combo of red peppers smashed green olives in a vinegar sauce. The waitress took it off our bill which was over the top nice. I wasn’t expecting that. I also had a corn chowder that you pour and mix into the bowl with other ingredients and it was bland. I would say a beautiful restaurant with amazing service but if you don’t eat pork I would maybe think twice about eating here
We had a group of 8. The food was very good. The music and noise level made conversation difficult for the group; of course, our size was part of the problem.
"Everyday Dining" in connection with Valette says that "I could eat there every day." Clearly, phenomenal charcuterie. The menu says "to share," but I prefer not to. You can have my cheese, but leave the protein to me! The rest of the menu is expertly executed. I do wish it was a bit longer, but it is just fine as it is.
My husband declared this dinner "one of the best meals I've had in my life." And he was right! We went for the surprise tasting menu (6 courses), and even with a major curveball (I have Celiac Disease and can't eat gluten), the kitchen whipped up delightful, exciting plates for the both of us, course after course. With the exception of one course, the two of us were each presented with different items - that's 11 completely different, gorgeously-plated, totally gluten-free courses. Amazing! Warm and beautiful space, totally down to earth and helpful servers, lovely people. Don't miss this place - it is something special.
Everything was wonderful. A cheerful environment, great cocktails, wine selections and the food was interesting and delicious. Only regret is not having enough time to make Vallette a weekly stop!

Our party of four shared the charcuterie & cheese plate for starters; this appetizer dish was wholeheartedly acclaimed by all. Others in the party enjoyed various dishes including boat scallops in croûte, sweet corn soup, a peach salad (a special that night), and basil crusted Alaskan halibut. This reviewer had the Sonoma County lamb trio dish; as a former small sheep flock rancher I loved these three delicious dishes provided by our wooly friends. We dined on a summer Monday. The restaurant was full when we arrived at 6:30 pm. Our server took a long time to pickup our menus & deliver our food. The restaurant was very noisy but that subsided a bit by 7:30 pm.
With guests in from Kansas City, I couldn't be happier with the experience we just had. Not only was the food excellent, but the service was outstanding as well. It is also worth mentioning that the Valette's Owner/ Executive Chef came by our table a couple of times to ensure our dinner experience was top notch, which I appreciated very much. That said, this restaurant and its staff earned five stars across the board in my review, as I will continue to patronize them as much as I can. Cheers!

Chef Dustin's food is amazing! It is fresh, seasonal and creative. The staff is friendly and attentive and always helpful with recommendations. the vibe is great. Not to loud but definitely good energy. Healdsburg is a town for foodies and Valette is right up there as one of the best in town.

We had the Burrata salad and then the Wagyu New York steak with mushrooms and mushroom mousse, plus marrow bone and tempura asparagus. My husband does not eat mushrooms but he ate them at Valette. I will dream of this meal the rest of my life. It was amazing. The service was excellent and the price reasonable for the high quality food. We loved the atmosphere. The outside belies what is on the inside...just a great space and you can see the aged beef in a cooler above the kitchen. The outside makes it look like a typical dark Italian restaurant is inside...nope...this is a "hip" place.
I recommend making a reservation as this place fills up and you wouldn't want to be turned away to go elsewhere.
