It's a good Italian restaurant and not awfully expensive.
Excellent food. Dining room was a little cramped, and two loud groups were on either side of us. Think of it as “family dining”, LOL.
Always a great evening at Valerio's. They take great pride in treating everyone as a friend. The food is consistently good and prepared with care. The bar scene is vibrant and it is quite usual for strangers at the bar to end up having conversations and enjoying each others' company. The fact that "regulars" continue to come demonstrates the consistent quality and vibe of the place.
Everything was delicious!!!
The service and the food were great. The fish special was amazing!
Every time we eat here it is terrific! The wine, food and service always surpasses
our expectations! It’s a family favorite any night of the week.
Service, food, and ambiance were excellent. The only complaint was that the mushroom salad was too salty. Would definitely return.
Valerio’s is our favorite restaurant in Cleveland, hands down. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and attentive. The live piano music on Saturday evenings is a treat! I tried to give an overall value rating of 5 stars, but the site kept deleting one of the stars. Valerio’s is a 5 star experience in every way!
Love this place! Food and service are impeccable.
This must be our sixth time at least to Valerio's, and it's always a treat. I had the Chicken Liver appetizer, and the special Sword Fish. Both were a delight. My wife has a lot of food allergies, but as usual, they accommodated her special needs without a misstep.
Grading a little lower for the service this time, as we were forgotten a few times for drinks and bread, but the restaurant was packed, so I'm not surprised.
We'll definitely be back!
Valerio's is always a great choice for dinner with friends. The wine list is great, the atmosphere is charming, the waitstaff is attentive w/o being hovering and the food is fabulous. Probably the very best restaurant in Little Italy.
Valerio and his staff are incredible!
The mushroom ravioli is superb! It is well worth the trip down to Little Italy.
Warm, inviting atmosphere with knowledgeable and helpful staff who treat you like family. Oh, and the food is delicious!
One of our favorite Little Italy stops...the perfect iconic Italian ambience and delicious food and service.
My husband and I ate at Valerio's with our 6 year old son for an early dinner. Service is amazing and the food is exceptional. Lots of delicious specials that included fish for our Lenten Friday dinner. Always a great choice when in Little Italy!
Great experience, wonderful food- will definitely return for dinner sometime soon!
We are from South Carolina and had a very enjoyable meal and experience at Valerio’s in little Italy.
I brought some friends from Chicago to dinner....from the piano player, service, food, ambiance....we could not have been more pleased! Very generous portions...great price...outstanding service. I will definitely go back...best place I have been to in a long time.
Excellent as always
surprisingly pasta only fair but steak was fantastic
It was absolutely wonderful. The service was perfect as was the food.
If you want fabulous food with an Italian flair try this one.
Food as usual was great but evening marred by request that we leave after two hours because they needed the table. I can understand when people linger after getting the bill but we were told as soon as the bill came to essentially pay and leave.
Valerio's never misses a beat. Treats you like family, food consistency good, wait staff A+.
Feels a bit like a little NYC spot. Cozy in winter - great people watching from the bar in the summer!
Don't hesitate trying this one!
Romantic dining experience
Always an authentic pleasure. Wish Valerio and his team well. Thanks for a blissful Valentines dinner.
Amazing food. The staff was very helpful with reccamendations.
Our food was excellent. The service was very attentive, but not overly so, and our server was very knowledgeable about both the dishes being served and the available wines. We dined early (pre-concert) on a week night, so it was not crowded, and the dining room was pleasantly quiet enough for good conversation; however, we missed getting to listen to much of Jackie Warren's enjoyable jazz piano playing, which does not start until 7:00. We would highly recommend Valerio's -- but also highly recommend getting reservations.
Excellent authentic Italian food and wines, cozy layout
Excellent service and the food was delicious!!! We loved the authentic Italian food and the wine list is lovely!
A bit noisy and tight seating; but who cares, the food, wine and service were great!
Enjoyed are dinner prior to a concert at Cleveland Museum of Art. Cozy and just the right atmosphere. I have celiac disease and they had GF pasta and many options. Food and service was great.
FYI: Valet parking for $7 plus tip. Have to have valet in this area.
Phenomenal!!!!! Cannot wait to go back!! Food and service were excellent!!
I can’t describe how this place makes you feel like family in a very active neighborhood and the food is truly both simple and amazing. My super fresh swordfish steak was perfectly prepared in olive oil, sea salt and pepper allowing the flavors of the fresh fish to speak for themselves. I truly can’t wait to return.
Many thanks for a great night in Little Italy .
We really enjoyed the ambience and food. Service was very good as well. Although we loved the piano playing it did make it hard to hear each other and the waitress but still rate our visit here outstanding.
We have been here a couple of times and greatly enjoyed the food, ambiance and overall experience. Will certainly be coming back.
Not very imaginative
We go there every year before the Cleveland Orchestra Christmas Concert. Not only is the food wonderful, they make sure to have us out in time for our concert, and every waiter we’ve had is friendly and attentive. Would recommend for any special event!
