We dined with some good friends last night at Valenza. The food was perfecto!!!
Some of the delicious salads and entrees we shared included:
Panzanella salad - we all agreed, best salad we have had in years! it was a delicate blend of heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, melon, onion and garlic with burrata. So yummy!
Pappardelle - an Italian favorite that was so flavorful, we can't stop thinking about it!
Capellini - simply delicious and a delicate and light blend with fresh tomatoes, basil, garlic and olive oil
Lumache Nero - best version of this we have ever had! Seasoned beautifully!
Saltimbocca - Pork lovers dream! Very tasty!
All ingredients were so fresh, plates presented beautifully, and warm ambience of restaurant all added to a delightful evening! We highly recommend Valenza
We had a wonderful evening. The food was fresh, tasty and brought to our table steaming hot. The service was really exceptional. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food and service and half off wine was a nice treat. Well done. Hope to be back soon
Sunday night has a pre-fix menu in addition to regular menu. Great value and atmosphere.
Friends birthday. Service was not great and the grouper was a little fishy. The octopus was perfect.
Consistently good. Good food. Great service. But very loud.
Excellent, as always. Our waiter was David, who did a wonderful job. I love being able to count on Valenza.
Noted in advance and after arrival of wife’s birthday and never acknowledged by staff.
Another great meal with excellent service and fantastic atmosphere. Love this place.
First time back since COVID. Surprised to find the cleanliness rating was an 85! We stayed anyway because we had made a special trip.
Waiter was pleasant but stretched very thin (on a Tuesday night) so service was uneven. Food was reliable and good, but Gin Gimlet was bland and disappointing. Liquor is expensive. Rye cocktail was $16.00! Asked for bread, which I didn’t see on the menu. Assumed it was included, but it turns out that it showed up on our $150bill and was $8.00. It was good though.
Going to give them more time to get their act together before we decide to try it again.
Great service and food. Staff is on point
Our server Miguel was Excellent!! took care of our every need. Birthday for our daughter and she felt vert special tahnks to Miguel.
Outdoor ambiance was perfect for Sunday night date.
Excellent food and service.
We enjoyed the family menu option.
Food was quite tasty. Food came just a little slow but warm on arrival
Great food & great service
Valenza is a great restaurant. Food and service are exceptional!
Excellent food, service, and ambiance!
We had a great time. A bite loud but it is a small place. Valet is crazy as they need to move off the road as cars can block the street and opening. The food was great especially the mussels. David S is a great waiter. Ask for him as he won’t steer you wrong.
Great food and service.
Special occasion engagement party for a relative. A WONDERFUL EVENING!
Staff was perfect! Great time had by all.
Fabulous food and atmosphere. Will be returning again soon!
Delicious food. Great service. Lots of food for your money
The ravioli was wonderful as always. However, the mista salad was swimming in a balsamic dressing. I would not order that again - a terrible salad.
And great service .
We will be back
Excellent as always. They helped make our anniversary special!
Great Service! Beautiful, delicious, generously proportioned dishes. Love it!
Poor service, very average food. Sides swapped in water. Let our table know they had run out of the special a half hour after ordering!! Birthday dinner fell flat.
Fabulous salad with heirloom tomatoes and delicious salmon dish. Friendly staff in appealing atmosphere.
Food was ok but Service was below par.
Was fabulous- service and food
Patio has afternoon shade and slight breeze- very comfortable
This place is a real asset to Atlanta
It was fine- nothing too impressive, server in a hurry and interior very dated
Great food, service and ambiance. Valenza consistently delivers a quality dining experience.
I had my first visit to Valenza last night with a friend and we had a reservation. Seating was prompt (there weren't many there), and we sat outside. It was a hot evening, but they had lots of fans going, which was nice. Took waitress a while to get to us, and when she did, she was such a "low talker" that we could hardly hear her and she never introduced herself (I had to ask her name). The food was just ok.... I had the "special" heirloom tomato salad (appetizer, not an entree-sized salad), which had about a cup to cup-½ of greens, the tomatoes, about 4-6 small chunks of honeydew and cantaloupe, with a nice vinegarette dressing and wonderful creamy goat cheese on the bottom. Delish! But guys, this starter salad was $17!! SEVENTEEN DOLLARS?!? Absolutely ridiculous. I got the mussels (appetizer) as my entree and they were good, but the sauce was rather heavy on the Sambuca and fennel, which made it a bit too licorice-y for me. There were a lot there, but the mussels themselves were tiny. However, they cost less than a dang lettuce/tomato salad! The service could've been a bit more attentive, and my goodness, the flies outside were horrible. You could hardly eat with having to wave them off so much, which surprised me with all the fans going. The wait staff wears jeans, which I found it a bit sloppy for such upscale prices. It got really crowded and really loud, which I don't mind at all, but I always fail to understand parents who bring young, shrieking kids to a restaurant like this (and fail to leave the table with them). Not the restaurant's fault, but detracted from our experience. Of course, the parents were oblivious. I may try them again, but I won't be rushing back.
Both Haven and Valenza are great destinations!
Overall a very good experience in a nice neighborhood spot
We keep coming back for some of the best food in Atlanta and it’s served up by some of the most genuine staff, who have become friends and family over the years.
Our waiter was awesome and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Thanks!
Not the same place it used to be - need some management around looking out and overseeing the place - here and Vero.
Went with grandkids, their mother and wife. Wait staff treated kids like little adults, Food, cocktails and service made for an excellent time. brought mini-birthday cake which was welcomed by out table birthday song. They do it all very well at Valenza.
