It was Tuesday Lasagna night and everything was delicious!! Homemade lasagna at its finest......
Great food and service. Will definitely come back.
Great overall. Except when I made the reservation, I said it was for a birthday.
But they forgot!!!!
But great dinner and server was excellent.
What a great place, went for my mom's birthday and everything was great. Definitely coming back soon.
Always a great experience! Love the food and service.
Good food, good waiter, but ignored my request that the two ladies in our group were celebrating their birthdays!
Food and service is consistently good. Recommend that the apple crostada be served heated thoroughly.
The saltimbocca was overcooked and tough, and a pasta dish was very heavy, with very large and thick noodles. The waiter was clearly trying to turn our table quickly, to the point that he brought the bill before it was requested.
On Wednesday evenings from 7 to probably 9, Joe Gransden and a keyboardist play. They are absolutely superb and we cannot believe that Valenza doesn't advertise this on their website. People pay gladly to see him perform and this is free!
My wife and I love going to Valenza! We’ll use any excuse to go out to eat. I feel as if there’s a group of grandmothers in the kitchen cooking.
We invited another couple and spent Valentine's Day dining at our favorite spot! It was loved by all and the food and service were amazing (as always)!
Excellent food and service
Valet parking entry at rear of building was a little confusing. Bartender was friendly while I waited though, like most Atlanta restaurants, my initial request for an esoteric cocktail exceeded capacity. Dinner was very good in a pleasantly quiet ambience for a first date between two widowed senior citizens. The staff was very considerate when informing us that it was time to go home. :)
Fabulous as usual!
Out waiter was so helpful and attentive. Very professional and witty. Our seating in the round booth was great for our table of 4.
The food and service were outstanding like usual!!! Chloe was a wonderful server and took very good care of us!
The food and service were excellent. A little constructive criticism would be to mention that the host initially wanted to seat us at the very front table nearest to the entrance. Seems that would be the LAST table to seat diners. Who wants to be right by the front door? There were plenty of empty tables further in the back (in was a Monday). He accommodated our request to be seated further away from the front door, but it just seemed weird that was his 1st choice.
Terrible experience at Valenza! My husband and I love the food and charm at Valenza, so much that we booked a reservation weeks in advance indicating that it was a celebration for our 30th wedding anniversary. We got to the restaurant for our 6:30pm reservation and the hostess congratulated us on our anniversary. We were then led to up to the small area overlooking the bar. At that point, I turned and asked if we could please be seated at another table because our table for 2, was positioned overlooking the bar and next to a table for 8. It was as if we were seated at the kids table at a loud dinner party. The hostess told us that there were NO other tables in the restaurant and that was our only option. I have never been seated in this area, only in the main dining room on previous occasions at Valenza, so we were really disappointed. It was so loud that my husband and I had to lean across the table to talk to one another. We got a glass of wine and enjoyed our delicious salads, caesar and beet, and tried to forget about sitting in a loud bar. Then my husband's entree was brought out and the server brought the wrong dish for me. His was hot, so I wanted him to go ahead and enjoy it. Unfortunately, my scallop entree had to be freshly prepared, so my husband was 3/4 of the way finished with his meal when I started. My scallops were hot and delicious, but our waiter knew that the experience had been terrible. He said, "we have to do something to make this night better for you" and came back with 2 glasses of wine and a dessert on the house. Then the manager came over and said that he took my entree off of the bill because it arrived so late. They did what they could to make up for the service issues that night, but it was certainly disappointing. I will not go back any time soon because I would not risk getting stuck sitting in that loud bar area again.
It was so loud we had to yell to hear each other. I have always enjoyed the food at your restaurant but will not go on a Friday or Saturday evening unless I get to sit way in the back.
Birthday dinner was great
We've been coming to Valenza for years now. Always excellent. Tim provided great service and was very personable!
Valenza is excellent and always consistent. The food is fantastic. Favorites include octopus, mussels, every pasta and the scallops. Tim provides excellent service.
Italian food that's well done, comfortable setting, sweet local spot.
Our waiter Tim was incredible and very knowledgable about the food and wine. We were very happy with his suggestions. The rabbit was cooked to perfection and we both enjoyed the muscles. It is in our neighbor in Brookhaven and we should dine there more often.
Incredible food and staff make Valenza an easy favorite place to dine for any occasion.
Loved our entire experience
Entertainment, Joe Gransden please keep them playing on Wednesday nights. Server was very knowledgeable about food & wine. My squash ravioli was amazing!
My husband and I decided to go for date night. We found this place on Open Table. I love Italian food and this place was delicious.
everything was really good, but the mussels in particular were fantastic!!!
Food and service here were top notch even on a very packed Saturday night. Jessica did a great job as our server. If you're a fan of seafood pasta dishes, you cannot go wrong with the Lumache Nero dish -- superb! Only recommendation is that some pasta dishes could be improved by having the noodles a little more al dente. The Lumache Nero dish was spot on, but if our other primi order — Pappardelle — would have been more al dente, it would have been difficult to choose a favorite.
One of the three best Italian restaurants in Atlanta. Food is delicious, servers are friendly, helpful, and humble. Convenient location and easy parking. N.B. If you played next to the bass guitarist in your garage band, and have lost some hearing, either go to this restaurant very early in the evening or at the end - it's energetic and a challenge for old rock 'n rollers!
Our waitress was attentive at first and then seemed to disappear after we got our food. We told her it was our anniversary and she did nothing special for us. The food was okay. The spices were off and the desert was not very good. We had the chocolate pudding with salted caramel. I think they use olive oil and way too much salt. Not pleasing to the pallet.
Some of the best Italian food in Atlanta. Everything from the food, quality of service was excellent!
Consistently excellent food. Our server Tim was knowledgeable and friendly and made great suggestions.
Valenza never disappoints.
Great food and a great vibe
Love Valenza! This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Atlanta in my opinion. I love that you can order half portions of the pasta, so they then become great for sharing. Service is always wonderful and the atmosphere is beautiful as well. Highly recommend!
Good food and good service. I recommend this restaurant. I thank our waitress for helping us decide what we wanted for dinner. My wife and I both liked our dinners.
Great family dinner during the holidays.
