Valenza is a cozy, upscale Italian eatery in Brookhaven. It takes its name from a small village in the Piedmonte region of Northern Italy. Valenza is well known throughout the world for its artisan jewelry manufacturing which has earned it the nickname “city of gold”. The cuisine at VALENZA is inspired by the diverse culture of Northern Italy. Executive Chef Matt Swickerath’s focus is on classic and modern cooking methods using fresh seasonal and local ingredients to create a classic Italian menu with an updated culinary touch. The menu features a variety of antipasti, pasta, risotto and Italian entrees. Valenza has the heart and spirit of a cozy and warm Italian village café in an upscale setting. The dining room features venetian plastered walls with rustic oak and pine woods. Experience the warmth and elegance of Valenza when dining under the antique European candle chandeliers. Beet salad, ravioli, and tiramisu. With a delicious vino nobile di montepulciano. Terrace had a terrific ambience. Service was spot on. Very enjoyable evening.

Nice atmosphere. It's owned by the people who own Haven and is very similar in terms of ambience, food, service. The service was good (perhaps a 5) and the food was solid, good. They keep the menu small which likely helps keep quality up. We were seated outside (which was nice) next to a family with a screaming little boy. Not the restaurant's fault, but was less than optimal. To keep him quiet, his parents put a show on for him on their phone - at first very loudly. They later turned it town and, eventually, they left maybe halfway through our time there. Valet parking was a breeze. All in all, it was good and we would return.

The food was very good, as usual. The noise level, however, was very high. Sometimes difficult hearing at the table when talking with our friends. The pricing has gotten a little pricey. The wine especially was expensive as was the salads. Actually, a suggestion would be to cut the size of the salads to make them more reasonable in price. Service was ok, not great. Had to ask for some things.

We had an early reservation so were seated easily. The ambiance is cozy and the service was friendly and just the right amount of attentiveness. The pasta dishes and salads were delicious! Overall a great experience. I just didn't rate 5 stars for overall experience because we were seated next to the kitchen door and servers stand. Next time I'll request a little distance away from that. Definitely will be back.

Valenza is an excellent spot to take a party of 5-8 people! Everyone can find something delicious without duplicate orders if that's a thing. We celebrated a birthday and it's great, not too fussy to be intimidating, but nice enough to feel special. It was crowded but not loud and we could easily have conversations within our group. Love Valenza everyday of the week not just for special occasions! Thank you for the excellent food and service.

Our meal (beet salad, pork tenderloin, fish special, bread pudding) was excellent. Server did a great job and ambiance was perfect. Have dined here before and will return.

Food was very good, but I wish the server would’ve warned us about the portion size of the appetizers. We tried the fried calamari and shrimp, which was delicious, but it was a big portion. We also ordered the focaccia so by the time we received our entrees, we were full! Wish we could have tried one of the desserts. Guess it’ll have to wait for next time!
