Wonderful Italian dishes, prepared well, and complemented with a reasonable wine list.
The restaurant can be a bit noisy, but as a local favorite we often recognize friends and neighbors. Wait staff is well trained and attentive, without being overbearing.
Everything was great! We really enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food!!
The food and service were outstanding. I will definitely be back and would recommend the restaurant to others.
Loved the food, ambiance and service. Gabriella was so kind and helpful. Will definitely go back.
One of our favorite restaurants! Always great food and service!
Had a great evening celebrating Father's Day. Food, per usual, was delicious. And the service was great. Anthony knows his stuff, and is on top of everything. Highly recommend for a date night, occasion, or just a random weeknight dinner. When it's not 100 degrees outside, I recommend sitting on the patio, as it is quite lovely.
Father’s Day dinner
Great service from Christopher!
The food and service are wonderful here but it is a bit noisy inside. Tables are pretty close together and that makes the noise level worse.
The food was fabulous and Josh, our waiter, was top notch!!!
Superb! Specials were wonderful!
I loved the vibe of this place, it was as if I was in a country villa in Italy. Seemed like a authentic Italian restaurant, was even able to speak a little Italian to our waiter. I was able to meet with my family and and enjoy a dinner for a party of 7 including a small kid with ease. The Salmone was magnificent, cooked just right with a little bit of crispness on the outside. I certainly will go back and try more dishes.

Hungry for an excellent meal? This is for you! My only complaint ever, is noise level. So if you want to talk to your dinner companions, get a table in the very nice courtyard!
Consistently great food and service.
Valenza rarely disappoints. Our table, server, and food were all fantastic. Even the noise level was pretty moderate as we were seated in the back room. Lovely evening!
Overall it was a good experience. The red snapper special for the day was excellent. The noise level was OK, but if you listened they were playing some rather crappy music. The service was fine, waiter knowledgeable, but all the staff were wearing blue jeans. This was a bit off-putting for a supposedly upscale restaurant. I would consider this place a poor value - the prices are high. The red snapper entrees were $34 each, a Bombay Sapphire martini was $13.50 and the least expensive wine was $10 per glass. The owners of Valenza, Haven and Vero have seen fit to do away with free parking in the adjacent parking lot as they have assigned all available places to valet parking, so you must seek a spot on Dresden Drive or park across the street in the parking lots there.
Gabriela was an amazing server...attentive but let us relax and enjoy our date night without rushing us!!
Wonderful meal with family celebrating my dad’s birthday. Thanks for helping to make it a special night! We will definitely be back.
I got the pork as amain dish and it was tough a d spicy. This is the first time I didn't love everything about Valenza.
Great ambiance, delicious italian food. Location is convenient too.
Wonderful evening. We sat on the patio, which is beautifully landscaped and quieter than indoors, and enjoyed the music of trumpeter Joe Gransden and his fine keyboardist while eating a great meal. The ravioli with butternut squash and the meatball dish are delicious and enough for two meals. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a delicious dessert to celebrate our anniversary.
Valenza has been one of my favorite atlanta restaurants for years. The last two times I have gone my food has been marginal at best. This past time was my daughter’s graduation so it was a huge disappointment and I wish we had dined somewhere else for that experience. I am not sure that I will be going back. The first time I had hoped it was just an off night but to follow up with the same experience on the next visit makes me think the food quality is just not going to be what it once was.
I LOVE Valenza... It's the perfect place to meet with friends/family for a wonderful meal in a friendly customer service minded restaurant!
Very pleasant outdoor dining, excellent food and good service. Could use a little more broad based wine list as it is a little short in the Italian selections.
Worth the price.
The server was very nice. The manager came to our table to check on us and make sure everything turned out well and we enjoyed our meal
Music was loud. Everything else was great
Hadn't been in a while...VERY pleasantly surprised.
It was a fantastic dinner! The wait was a bit long but to be expected on a holiday. The scallops were fantastic!
This place was amazing from entry to exit, everything was great, and for me, this is the highest I ever give any establishment.
Went for Mother's Day Brunch and the food was really just mediocre at best. The steak came barely warm with the eggs which were very delicious, but really was only the eggs and potatoes that tasted good. Some weird really bitter green sauce on the steak too (normally this should be chimichurri). Heard another table complain that their brussel sprout dish was cold too and had to send it back. Our waitress was not around much and we had to spend about 10 min trying to find her to get the bill but never found her and had to ask someone else to check us out.
Overall nice restaurant. The dessert was subpar but my pasta was delicious!
Excellent service, delicious food and wine, and Daniel was a superb and attentive waiter. All three meals were outstanding!
Overall food was just fair. Too much salt. Please rely in fkavors if ingredients other than salt.
Delicious food, creative options, great atmosphere and location. Service a bit slow. Ordered second glass of wine twice but server never delivered. Had to request check twice as well.
We had a wonderful dinner with friends here. We sat on the patio which was absolutely perfect. Food was delicious and service was wonderful. We all loved our food. We all started with a cocktail, had salads, and then some had pasta, one had the halibut special, and I had the salmon over lentils. Everything was delicious.
The pasta is unreal before they put the sauce on it. We loved everything. We went for our 13th wedding anniversary.
Absolutely gorgeous place to dine outside. I loved our waiter and he made excellent recommendations. I did the summer squash ravioli and it was perfect. I also very much enjoyed their wine because it was very good and well priced. I will definitely go back.
My husband and I, with friends, dined at Valenza for the first time on May 2nd, a Wednesday evening. I chose the restaurant to enjoy the musical talent of Joe Gransden, who Clint Eastwood described as “…a young man with and old soul and a classic voice. He is a great new talent with a wonderful sense of humor to boot. And don’t forget, he plays a hell of a trumpet!” My words? Joe is an impressive musician. Joe and a keyboard player (quite a talented musician himself) played tunes from the Great American Songbook. If you are a fan of this genre, Joe’s trumpet and voice, along with the accompanying keyboard, will transport you to a happy place, making for a perfect evening. And one of our friends, a former professional trumpet player and band director for many years, had very high praise for Joe Gransden.
If you’re wondering about the food, it is flavorful and attractively-plated. I recommend the Orecchiette Pasta w/fennel sausage, rabe, evoo, and chili flakes; the Salmone, king salmon; and the Pollo al Mattone, a brick pressed green circle farms chicken, with peperonata and crispy pecorino potatoes. For dessert, have the Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake w/pine nuts and brown butter caramel. If you appreciate Italian red wine, I recommend Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Corte alla Flora. Full-bodied and smooth. Christopher, our server, was exceptional - professional, yet friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, attentive, but not intrusive. The staff assisting him complemented his excellence. We look forward to our next visit!
