Valentino's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Everything was great except the service waiter was horrible he took our order after bringing it he never came back only to bring the bill he never asked if we wanted any dessert my wife did want some cheesecake but she said just forget it. I said sir she would like another sangria and I would like another tea he said no prob that to took him 15 min .our waiter was the older black man who has a leg problem ..
This was our first time and we would definitely return. It is a unique, neighborhood restaurant. VERY BIG but not overwhelming menu. Impossible to not find several items you would like. The food was excellent and the pricing was very fair. We each also received a complimentary light palette cleansing fruit plate after dinner. If you are dining anywhere near Harford Rd. inside the beltway, give Valentino's Restaurant a visit.
We chose Valentinos as a last minute Mother's Day Lunch choice for a group of 6. I have been there twice and remember the food to be tasty- well cooked and seasoned well. This time the food seemed over cooked and not well seasoned. Everyone needed to add salt and pepper. We arrived 15 minutes early which seemed to throw the staff off a bit. Once we were seated the tables the were severely uneven and took some time for the staff to fix. Food arrived quickly but was mediocre.
Today was my fiancé birthday and I brought him here to experience the results of a google search for "the best meatloaf in Baltimore." He did in fact enjoy the meatloaf and enjoyed the Seafood Alfredo. The food was absolutely delicious. They sang him happy birthday with the cake of his choice. All in all we had a great time
My mother and I enjoyed our Christmas Evening meal at Valentino's Restaurant. Rishu, our server, was very friendly and polite. Rishu made frequent visits to our table to make certain that our meal was enjoyable. My mother and I hope to return to Valentino's very soon, perhaps on New Year's Day. Thank you again, Valentino's Restaurant.
I can't say enough about this restaurant!
I thought I had booked a table for a late dinner on New Year's Eve, but I realized when we arrived that I booked for that morning. I had made a huge mistake on the time. When we arrived the line was out the door. I was not expecting to be seated but the restaurant did accommodate me after I explained my booking mistake to the GM Paul. Valentino's did not have an empty seat in the house and still everything went smoothly and professionally.. The filet mignon was seasoned and cooked perfectly. My wife's seafood Maryland was also amazing (I know because I had her leftovers for lunch the next day).
Bravo Valentino's! Bravo!
Went there based on the Xmas menu on their website as well as reading several positive reviews....were told upon arrival and mentioning that the $31 Fillet was not on the menu...the waiter was unable to explain so a manager came over and gave me some poor excuse..so we all ordered something else....35 min. later the same manager came back and informed me that the Breaded Scallops had run out and now I had to pick something else..our food finally came and things got worse...my sons steak had a taste like it was old and my wifes Turkey Croquettes were so bad even I couldn't eat them...have no idea what spices were used but I can assure you after having eaten both Chicken and Turkey versions of the dish..I have never been unable to eat the dish....now as to the "Broiled" Scallops I settled for they were luke warm and in my opinion were undercooked a bit....after making my utter disappointment with things very clear they did remove the charge for the Scallops...we drove 40 miles on Xmas day looking forwards to a nice Filet Mignon dinner and instead ended up with a meal no better than we could have gotten at a place like Dennys....BAH HUMBUG!!!!
Valentino's is an excellent choice for any meal. The stuffed mushrooms imperial were scrumptious. My husband raved about his ravioli. They made the basic hamburger and fries special, especially those fries. Yummy!
The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. Service is prompt and pleasant. We felt a generous tip was warranted. We've always had good experiences here.
Great food, service, atmosphere, selection.Exceptional price for turkey dinner/ included entree,2veg,salad,soup, and Delicious choice of desserts. $15.00.Would have paid double.Felt like being in a Manhattan restaurant in Forties. Big semi-private booth. Expected to hear Charles Boyer or Humphrey Bogart talking in the next booth.
We will be back again and again. Real consistent familiar fare from a neighborhood spot that has been serving Baltimore/Parkville over 25years. The homemade breadsticks w marinara always hits the post! And then comes the meal... We've had a few pasta dishes in the past but tonite we had jumbo lump crab cakes!! Wow!
THE SERVICE IS PHENOMENAL. THE FOOD IS SUPERB. WE FELT LIKE CELEBRITIES ON ONE OF THE REALITY TV SHOWS WHEREAS IT FELT LIKE WE WERE THE ONLY CUSTOMERS IN THE RESTAURANT. OUR WAITER ALI WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. THE MANAGER ROBERT HELP TO MAKE OUR EXPERIENCE REWARDING. IF YOU WANT MADE TO ORDER ITALIAN AND SEAFOOD ENTREE'S THAT ARE 1000% DELICIOUS YOU MUST DINE WITH VALENTINO'S
We reserved through this site, but they didn't recognize it when we got in. The manager came over and talked to us, and found out we did have a table reserved. He accommodated us with a nicer table. Our waiter was very polite, timely, and visited us frequently, but was very awkward. Overall, they put a lot of effort in, but could work on organization.
Took my girlfriend there for Valentines day and the food was good. The kitchen messed up the order and the server forgot to ask what type of potato and vegetable I wanted but I didn't mind. Since I work in a restaurant I understand sometimes kitchens can be backed up. Overall I would return but not on any special occasion.
We were looking for something totally different to do this Christmas and selected dinner out at Valentino's with a few close family members rather than cooking the traditional Christmas dinner for everyone. Never having dined out on Christmas day we were not sure what to expect. They treated us like royalty. The food was excellent and the service was first class. I'm sure it was difficult for the servers to have to work on Christmas day, but you never would have known it. I would definitely come back again! This is definitely a restaurant to consider for a special occasion.
Visited on Christmas Day with a party of three. Altough the food was good, this many not be the place to go to on a holiday. My party waited 20 mins. to be offered water and given menus as there was no wait staff assigned to our table. I had to track down the manager to ask for service. I actually said to the waiter who served our water, "this must the able that is always forgotten." Both booths on either side of us had been visited by a staff; one table arrived after us.
We were there for Christmas Day dinner, so it was very busy, but managerial staff came to help out, and it was obvious all were doing their best to provide a pleasant dining experience. We had strip steaks...properly cooked and very good.
Valentino's is a good, basic, reliable Italian restaurant. The menu is maybe a bit too large. It is a great place to go for casual meals, and their extended hours and OK neighborhood is not a problem. We were very grateful to be able to have a nice meal in a pleasant setting on Christmas Day when so few restaurants were open.
This is a great place to dine at anytime. My parents love going there and thus, my husband and myself - my sons like taking their special dates there too - a tradition I guess you can say. Excellent food and service every time. Planning a family gathering there very soon. Thank you - The Warner and Davis families
Valentino Restaurant is one of the nicest restaurant in the area. It's very clean and handicap acceptable and the food is always delicious. no matter what you might order you wilI not be disappointed. My personal favorite is the Boadwalk Cesar Salad containing large steam shrimp, scallop, lump crab meat, croutons over a bed of greens with warm Cesar dressing topped with fresh grated parmesan and crack pepper, delicious. And it is huge. My parents love going there. They are now 82 & 83 years of age and as I do love they cream of crab and Maryland Crab soups along with the bread stick with homemade marinara sauce. Anytime you want a delicious meal; a choice of good wine at reasonable price - stop by; you will not be disappointed.
