Valentino’s is truly a special place! Everything about this place was perfect! Not only was I able to book a table within an hour of eating we were served right away. The restaurant offered a special Mother’s Day menu & had the full menu as well. Mother’s Day was amazing and it came with a free sangria for every women who came in,
Great place but beware Opentable diners. You can make a reservation on Opentable but they will not honor it.
Big problem on a Saturday night. 4 of us had to wait and then ended up squeezing in at the bar. Bad policy for them.
Had a great meal for Valentines Day
Very nice ambiance. Friendly service and delicious food.
Great place, first time visit. Easy parking and free. Great dessert choices. Neighborhood not so good in the evening hours but food was tasty and drinks were a good price.
Service was outstanding. And the food was as always delicious. I live in the neighborhood and am grateful for Valentinos.
The salmon cakes were a little too salty. The soup was good. The dessert was excellent.
Valentino's was an excellent choice for our Xmas dinner. My wife's crabcake and my seafood lasagne were outstanding. The service was good making our overall experience very enjoyable.
Restaurant was clean, staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The food was hot and well flavored.
The experience was not bad, however, there was a lot that was left to be desired. There was one embarrassing moment for my mom. When being seated at a booth, per her request, the waiter or host, or whoever it was that sat us kept picking tables where there wasn't enough room for her to sit down. The third table is the one we personally selected. We didn't make a big deal about it, but it really upset her.
The breadsticks were nice. My mom got a shrimp club sandwich with bacon, and felt like it was bland. I got the Granchio Verde. It looked very pretty and was a nice light dish but it did seem like it was missing something flavorwise. My dad got some kind of open face pot roast sandwich I think? He really enjoyed his food.
Overall, it wasn't a bad experience but with my mom having a not so great experience it kind of put a damper on the night and my birthday. Completely willing to give it another go and try other stuff on the menu. Aside from the whole table thing, our service was really great. Someone was always checking how we were doing and how we were on our drinks.
We met here after an organizer's workshop. Food was great - fresh and natural, with huge portion sizes. Servers were on point. Would definitely eat here again.
A great place if you are looking for Italian. The service is outstanding.
I love the quietness of the restaurant. Our waiter gave excellent suggestions on sides to compliment our main entrée. Very friendly.
Excellent service my 2nd time dining here, keep up the excellent customer service. Thank u
Everything was great except the service waiter was horrible he took our order after bringing it he never came back only to bring the bill he never asked if we wanted any dessert my wife did want some cheesecake but she said just forget it. I said sir she would like another sangria and I would like another tea he said no prob that to took him 15 min .our waiter was the older black man who has a leg problem ..
Enjoyed our evening very much, and the service was great.
We came for restaurant week and was in total awe of the quality of the food for the type of establishment. Definitely would return and definitely would recommend! A nice little hidden gem
Enjoyed our food. The crab soup was delish!
It was my Birthday and I loved the service. My food was excellent and and it was enjoyable.
I had a lovely garden salad, paired with pasta with spinach, mushrooms, and jumbo lump crab, plus German chocolate cake and a glass of wine. It was delicious and a great way to begin New Year's Eve.
Food quality and quantity were good.
Stay away from the Apple Cobbler.
Pecan Pie was excellent.
Service was Very Good.
Ambience was a little noisy due to XM from ceiling speakers.
Open 24 Hours. Reservation not necessary.
Valentino's is a 24 hour diner in the city with high prices for mediocre food and service.
This was our first time and we would definitely return. It is a unique, neighborhood restaurant. VERY BIG but not overwhelming menu. Impossible to not find several items you would like. The food was excellent and the pricing was very fair. We each also received a complimentary light palette cleansing fruit plate after dinner. If you are dining anywhere near Harford Rd. inside the beltway, give Valentino's Restaurant a visit.
Nice cozy place for a myriad of occassions. Suitable for both daytime and nighttime get togethers/outings.
We chose Valentinos as a last minute Mother's Day Lunch choice for a group of 6. I have been there twice and remember the food to be tasty- well cooked and seasoned well. This time the food seemed over cooked and not well seasoned. Everyone needed to add salt and pepper. We arrived 15 minutes early which seemed to throw the staff off a bit. Once we were seated the tables the were severely uneven and took some time for the staff to fix. Food arrived quickly but was mediocre.
Today was my fiancé birthday and I brought him here to experience the results of a google search for "the best meatloaf in Baltimore." He did in fact enjoy the meatloaf and enjoyed the Seafood Alfredo. The food was absolutely delicious. They sang him happy birthday with the cake of his choice. All in all we had a great time
It was our first time there as a family. The staff was nice and very attentive. The man who brought the desert even sang for my son's birthday, by name, most restaurants don't ask for the name, it was a nice touch..
Have eaten here a few times. Food fairly good but service has been good and bad. If you are local, do take away. Can be good for large groups.
Chris was so hospitable and phenomenal. Really made my mom's birthday special. Patient, informative, just outstanding.
My mother and I enjoyed our Christmas Evening meal at Valentino's Restaurant. Rishu, our server, was very friendly and polite. Rishu made frequent visits to our table to make certain that our meal was enjoyable. My mother and I hope to return to Valentino's very soon, perhaps on New Year's Day. Thank you again, Valentino's Restaurant.
It was great to find a place opened on Christmas day, and it was really good, they had some holidays specials and the service was good as well.
Veal Marsala was excellent. Waiter was very efficient.
Waitress was outstanding and very friendly. Very responsive. My hubbany enjoyed his father day brunch after going to church.
The food and were great. The was underwhelming. Servers front or unseen and were not very attentive guests. If needed I needed anything, had to get up go to the server. Given not crowded, the servers could have checked on the guests more.
Our waitress was really good and attentive but the food wasn't. My crab cake was on the dry side, not much lump meat. Don't like crispy fries. Prefer regular fries or steak fries. Cole slaw lacking flavor.
Doubt that I will be back.
I can't say enough about this restaurant!
I thought I had booked a table for a late dinner on New Year's Eve, but I realized when we arrived that I booked for that morning. I had made a huge mistake on the time. When we arrived the line was out the door. I was not expecting to be seated but the restaurant did accommodate me after I explained my booking mistake to the GM Paul. Valentino's did not have an empty seat in the house and still everything went smoothly and professionally.. The filet mignon was seasoned and cooked perfectly. My wife's seafood Maryland was also amazing (I know because I had her leftovers for lunch the next day).
Bravo Valentino's! Bravo!
Went there based on the Xmas menu on their website as well as reading several positive reviews....were told upon arrival and mentioning that the $31 Fillet was not on the menu...the waiter was unable to explain so a manager came over and gave me some poor excuse..so we all ordered something else....35 min. later the same manager came back and informed me that the Breaded Scallops had run out and now I had to pick something else..our food finally came and things got worse...my sons steak had a taste like it was old and my wifes Turkey Croquettes were so bad even I couldn't eat them...have no idea what spices were used but I can assure you after having eaten both Chicken and Turkey versions of the dish..I have never been unable to eat the dish....now as to the "Broiled" Scallops I settled for they were luke warm and in my opinion were undercooked a bit....after making my utter disappointment with things very clear they did remove the charge for the Scallops...we drove 40 miles on Xmas day looking forwards to a nice Filet Mignon dinner and instead ended up with a meal no better than we could have gotten at a place like Dennys....BAH HUMBUG!!!!
Valentino's is an excellent choice for any meal. The stuffed mushrooms imperial were scrumptious. My husband raved about his ravioli. They made the basic hamburger and fries special, especially those fries. Yummy!
The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. Service is prompt and pleasant. We felt a generous tip was warranted. We've always had good experiences here.
Great food, service, atmosphere, selection.Exceptional price for turkey dinner/ included entree,2veg,salad,soup, and Delicious choice of desserts. $15.00.Would have paid double.Felt like being in a Manhattan restaurant in Forties. Big semi-private booth. Expected to hear Charles Boyer or Humphrey Bogart talking in the next booth.
We will be back again and again. Real consistent familiar fare from a neighborhood spot that has been serving Baltimore/Parkville over 25years. The homemade breadsticks w marinara always hits the post! And then comes the meal... We've had a few pasta dishes in the past but tonite we had jumbo lump crab cakes!! Wow!
