Valentino's Cucina Italiana
Exceptional wine list. Amazing food. Absolutely loved the special raviolo appetizer. Celebratory lemoncello was the icing on top of the cake!
Everything was spectacular until we had to leave suddenly and the water waiter needed to box up our entrees. The duck ravioli was packed sideways and falling out of the box and the crostini was in the quart if ciopoino to get soggy. Mike, the waiter was absolutely amazing as was the food he recommended.
One of the best restaurant in Broward County. My wife and I have been at Valentino's many times and the pleasure is always the same. Excellent food, service and ambient!
Our waiter was fantastic, but our food took an extremely long time to come, and the restaurant was busy but not packed. The slow cook time and small portion sizes were not a great combination, however when the food did come, it was delicious. We also really appreciated the skill and attentiveness of our waiter, who could not do much to speed up the kitchen but did pay a lot of attention to detail and was very responsive
Pastas were outstanding although portions are very small for the price. Service was excellent. Limited choices for main courses.
Beautiful setting. In general a very good dining experience.
Truly the best restaurant in Broward County. Owner was cooking, Wait service perfect.
Absolutely amazing !
I go to Valentno's when I want very good Italian cooking...which is not easy to find. We had a wonderful sophisticated Italian waiter who made everything sound mouthwatering. There was valet parking right at the building, and a terrific bar. We really enjoyed the food and the service.
Service very very slow
Wonderful modern take on Italian food...Delicious!
We had a great experience and loved everything! Our only request would be that the music volume be turned down a little so conversation would be a little easier!
Amazing dinner, specials were detailed, service was great and perfect wine suggestion.
Wonderful homemade pasta is an airy dining room. Love the wine list as well and great daily speicals
Amazing!! The food was exquisite. The service was impeccable. Our waiter CJ was excellent. He was attentive, yet he gave us our space to enjoy our meal and each others company without constant imterruption. We celebrated my wife's birthday here and it was a perfect evening.
This is one of my favorite nicer restaurants in downtown Fort Lauderdale. I would define the cuisine as modern Italian- they are always doing something creative or different but the menu is always inspired but traditional Italian flavors. Portions are small but everything is unique and delicious. Be ready for an expensive bill but well worth it for a business meal or special occasion.
Outstanding food but service above any expectations.
Marco, the chef of the salon is really the best in providing the wonderful experience to the lovers of italian food.
Simply outstanding ! Very very High quality food and good service. One of the best Italian restaurants we have been to in recent times - and we have been to many !
Great food and service. This is real authentic Italian food for sure.
We ordered the appetizer specials, scallops, duck sausage and heirloom tomato. For our entree ,we had the seafood pasta and osso bucco pasta. The food was amazing! The whole experience was amazing !
A wonderful restaurant with creative delicious dinners and amazing service. we tried the scallops, caesar salad and so much more.
Upon arriving, my wife and I were offered Chef's seating and took the offer which I highly recommend. After 34 years together the courting days are long gone and enjoyed watching the magic of our dishes being prepared in front of us and the light conversations with Giovanni and his highly capable staff! The food was terrific and service equal to it. Anyone who has been to Italy and experienced fresh made Mozzarella will love the Burrata Cheese! Definitely a dining experience to put on your to do list!
Tables very close together. No privacy. & very noisy. Music too loud. Food very over salted. Bread skimpy & not very good.
Beautiful presentation of creative appetizers, entrees and desserts. However, the prices are very pricey for
many small portioned plates of food. The noise level when the restaurant is full is too loud. Seating near the
preparation areas is not desirable and seating near the bar area is dark. Very eclectic restaurant, but not for everyone!
Everything was great EXCEP THE DOG Sitting next to us WE aLL KOW THEASE PEOPLE HAVE FAKE SERVICE CERTIFICATES FROM THE INTERNET THIS IS A RESTURANT,,,
Food was delicious, a little bit pricey but it’s worthy. Small portions but you will feel satisfied, looking forward to the next visit. I would definitely go back!!! I was glad to tried this restaurant and I recommend it to everyone who loves good food.
Easily the finest Italian restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale, and quite possibly in all of Florida. The chef is truly a genius, especially with his pasta dishes, but the inspiration runs from the antipasti all the way through i dolci on the dessert menu.
We have never had a dish here that disappointed. Some are truly memorable. On the most recent visit, the agnolotti carbonara was stunningly good, the waygu ribeye (a special) sensational, and the dessert featuring basil gelato on a seared slice of pound cake was magnificent beyond description.
An intelligent wine list with sensible selections across various price points.
The staff seems highly capable. Our waiter (Guillermo) from Argentina by way of Naples was a true master.
Simply one of best meals we have had in South Florida. I'm sorry it took us so long to try it. We had even been to One Door East several times, but never to Valentino's. This is a restaurant that is not to be missed.
Menu is very rich. Food is delicious but hard to navigate choices when trying to eat light.
We were excited to finally try this fantastic restaurant. Everything we tried was delicious! We enjoyed a Caesar salad, we enjoyed tagliatelle Bolognese, Spicy sausage with broccoli rabe, and and a homemade pasta with cream sauce and pancetta. For dessert we enjoyed tartufo and chocolate ice cream! The food was superb!!! The pasta was made by hand, by the chef which made it especially delicious. They were extremely busy, Service was a little slow however easily over looked because the food was amazing.
Valentino’s is a definite gem in Fort Lauderdale. The cocktails were made perfectly, appetizers were scrumptious, and the main was beyond delicious! I highly recommend!
Maybe a good place if you’re young and don’t want to chat. But we couldn’t hear ourselves think. Also the air con was too cold so I couldn’t wait to leave and walk outside in the balmy air
Food ok nothing spectacular. We wouldn’t go back!
The food for the most part was very overpriced. Just about everything I ordered and my partner ordered was salty. Never again! There are so many better restaurants in Broward county that there’s no need to dine there so just skip this one.
We like this place. Good vibe. Good food. Good service. Biggest drawback is menu. Not enough specials to warrant coming back more than every 6-8 weeks. Brooke is a helpful sommelier and Guillermo a responsive server.
Restaurant is quite small and crammed.
Service staff didn’t smile once. Waiter was rude and unprofessional. Probably has been there too long, become too comfortable with the restaurant and literally doesn’t care about providing good service because they’ll never get rid of him. Assistant som had literally zero knowledge of the wines. Not sure how a restaurant employs staff like this but unemployment is at 3.8% right now so there you go...
Food overall was a major disappointment. Dishes lacked flavor and imagination. The only recommendation are the pasta dishes. Flavor is good but proportions are so small you need to get a few of them to satisfy your hunger.
Very underwhelming unfortunately.
We asked for a counter spot and were told it was reserved. However, only 2 people sat at the counter the entire time we were dining.
Our waiter was rude. He would not take our appetizer order until we had the full entrée order. We were in no rush and the restaurant was not overly crowded to require turning the table over swiftly.
He brought the wrong dish for one of us and insisted it was what she ordered. He did not offer to replace the order. He asked if she wanted to split another persons order (which was what she had ordered).
The pork chop was good but absurdly large compared to the other size entrees.
We had a horrible experience with the hostess of the restaurant. She was very softly Rude the way she greeted us took care of us seated us every which way. I would never go back!
Our third meal here...the food is extraordinarily delicious, service attentive, ambience relaxed...
Exquisite food and outstanding service! What a wonderful dining experience.
I’m always puzzled why a place like Valentino’s seats one couple at a two top in a busy traffic way and immediately seats a second and third couple at empty more roomy and quieter four top tables. Comfortable guests buy more wine, stay longer enjoy more courses. Our entire experience was placed in the context of sitting in what amounted to the entry way by a careless hostess.
Incredible dishes and unique flavors. We were very impressed
