Our group of seven was seated promptly with no wait. Our server was very efficient, attentive, and helpful. The ambience was calm and relatively quiet even with a couple of large parties taking place. I had not dined at Indochine for a few years due to the pandemic. Prior to that it had been one of our favorites for its quality food and great service. I was pleased to find that nothing had changed. Half of our small group had not dined there before and were quite impressed with the food, service and prices. The rest of us who had dined there from one to many times before were also pleased things had not changed and the food and service were still at a high standard. All in the group agreed that it was a great meal and a great experience.

Reservations were for 5:00pm; we were seated by 5:30. The restaurant was full, even at that early dinner hour. Wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. The food was prepared very well. The three star review was based on what appears to be a cheap electrical fix for a light on the wall by the booth in which we sat. I dropped nearly $200 for a dinner for two (no alcoholic drinks) and it looked like someone spent $1.99 for some cable twists instead of rewiring the fixture. Honestly, I thought “if this is what the public sees, what does the kitchen look like?”

We went to Cutter’s Crabhouse to celebrate the first visit to meet our first Great-Grandson. My wife has developed allergies over the last 2 years that were, at times, devastating. Brett, our server, introduced himself, he was friendly, professional, and attentive to details. We told him about her issues, produced a card listing all the allergies, and Brett asked if he could show it to the chef and get his suggestions for a “safe” dinner. He returned and said he was bringing Jackie, his manager, in to make sure there were no mistakes. Jackie took time to ask questions, listened to my wife’s answers, and took our orders and got us a great meal. Both of the Cutter personnel went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience! Despite being busy and short staffed. Whenever we return to Seattle, we will be sure to stop at Cutter’s Crabhouse!

It is very expensive restaurant and knew that when we made reservations, but there were a few items that I did think were over priced. I had a steak and added grilled prawns. The waiter said up front there were 2 prawns. There were gulf prawns on the menu, so I was assuming they were bigger gulf prawns that I was getting. No, my dinner came and they were normal small prawns. Those two small prawns were $18! That is outrageous. Everything was delicious and staff/waiter were great with a nice atmosphere waterfront view. Not many restaurant parking spots, so be aware if you are driving.

Another very good dinner at Paradiso, our neighborhood gem! We always enjoy our evenings out at Paradiso. The lamb special was a highlight for my husband and the Capellini al Pomodoro Fresca was fresh & delicious although my extra shrimp were overcooked. Best to skip those as an add-on. An absolute delight from beginning to end. We ordered Fois Gras and Moreels with truffles appetizers, Wagyu beef main, and foccacia bread.
