Vail Ranch Steakhouse, in Temecula, California, offers great steaks, seafood and spirits all under one roof. The atmosphere at the establishment is Old World but luxurious to give that hint of times past while you dine. Those at Vail Ranch Steakhouse work to provide the best service and food that you can get. For those who enjoy indulging in a drink, there is a full bar and a great happy hour offered on every day of the week.
For those who enjoy steak, you wont be disappointed by Vail Ranch Steakhouse. You will find steaks, seafood, chicken, lamb and more. You can try the lollypop lamb chops as a starter and then dive into a hearty portion of rib eye steak or filet mignon. The dessert is a treat as well, with the brownie ala mode being a particular standout.
TOO BAD THIS RESTAURANT CLOSED ITS DOORS ON SAT. 21, OCTOBER. WE LOVED THE HIGH END STEAK CUTS.
Thanks for the fine dinners over the years ... your restaurant will be sorely missed.
Our first visit and we really enjoyed our dinner! Too bad the Steakhouse is closing this Saturday after the many years in Murrieta. We wish the owner and staff much success in their next endeavor.
I went on line to see the menu for dinner. My husband was looking for prime rib. We have never been to Vail so I was excited to go. The price rating was $ but it should have been $$. It was much more expensive than what was advertised.
We will go back again but only for a really special dinner.
We spent 1 1/2 hours there but mostly waiting for our drinks, salads and dinner. The waitress gave us two free desserts for wasting our time.
Sadly, the best steakhouse in the area, Vail Ranch, is closing.
The steaks, beverages, sides, deserts and after dinner drinks are great, as they have always been. The last day of service is 10/22. So sad to see the best place in Temecula, Murrieta and Elsinore for steaks is closing. : (
Go while you can for your 'last supper'. Ask for Carmel as your server. She has always been so awesome.
We have always had a great experience at Vail Ranch Steakhouse. Both the steak and the fish were done to perfection. We will miss them.
We will miss Vail Ranch Steak House as they are closing this month. The food and service have always been excellent. Best wishes and good luck . And thanks for the wonderful experiences
The aged ribeye was a delicious, generous portion. Side dishes were tasty, the baked was generous and the grilled vegetables were crisp and tasty. The was moist and flakey. Waitress was very attentive.
Our server and the 4 meals were excellent although it took a long time to get our food despite it not being very busy at our 5:30 reservation on a Friday
The food and service were both great. Steaks cooked to perfection. Prices are very competitive in comparison to other steakhouses. I wouldn't say as high end as Ruth Chris or Morton's but definitely higher end and much better quality than places like Black Angus or Outback.
The food, including the vegetables, was excellent. We did ask to be moved to a quieter table because the piano was to loud. Because it is pricey, I will save this for a special occasion.
We were disappointed . . . we have been there many times for special occasions etc. and always had good food. That is why I decided to take my husband for his 7 nd birthday. He ordered the 12 oz filet and it was very average and in fact he complained it had no taste whatsoever. Mine was Ok but I have had better at Black Angus. We expect better from the Vail Ranch. The waitress was very good though.
You Guys Are Spamming Me To dealt.
I will never, ever come back.
The steaks were very good. We had the ribeye and the prime rib special which is great value on Monday nights. The wine selection is good and I also recommend the fried calamari. There was a live piano player during dinner which was very pleasant.
Dinner was ok, but nothing special. The prime rib was over seasoned and had some issues with their beers.
Was disappointed this time. Bone-in ribeye was actually not very good at all, even though cooked to order. The meat just tasted...worn out and old. Service was decent until they forgot to bring back our leftovers to take home. Music was annoyingly loud. Rather than soft background, it was more like a concert and got in the way of conversation, even though we were about as far away as one can get. It's a shame, but the place seems to be going downhill with each successive visit. We've been here many times for special occasions, but I think we'll be looking elsewhere from now on.
This was our 1st time to Vail Ranch Steakhouse. The waitress helped with suggestions and the food was incredible. The $10 add-on lobster tail Tuesday was a great bonus.
Our table was very well situated that it allowed intimate conversation . The live music was appropriate for a couple dining out . Our waiter was outstanding and made our dining experience memorable. The food was excellent too!! I ordered the Chilean Seabass and it was to die for! We will definitely be back here.
First visit for our family. High quality food. Prices slightly high, but was a very good meal. Not typical of your standard steak place. Been in Temecula for 9 yrs now. Wish we would of came in sooner.
The steak had good flavor but the lobster seemed under cooked. They were out of baked potatoes and the New York strip that came with that combo special. Instead of giving me the slightly larger strip for the same price as advertised they charged me more. It wasn't my fault they were out of the smaller strip and baked potatoes. Drinks were also delayed. Not even close to being worth the money.
