The music was ridiculously loud. The food was ok - nothing great. The location is very convenient. The hostess was lovely and server was nice too. In my opinion, there are many better restaurants to eat in Vail. I might try it again as I wonder if it was an off night, but it wouldn’t be a place I would rush back to.
Our server Wills was excellent...very knowledgeable, friendly and provided great service!
El servicio muy bueno y la comida ya la conocía y por eso regreso muy buena
Perhaps it was a rough night at the restaurant but it was a universally bad experience. The seating is all basically in the bar, which we didn’t realize before going, so with kids it is way too loud. It was filled with large raucous crowds when we were there so it was also just physically overwhelming to walk through to get to our seats. This was after we waited a half hour after our reservation to be seated. We then ordered almost immediately and it took almost an hour for our entrees to arrive. Steak was very over cooked, we each taking two bites and decided it wasn’t worth it. The server was very friendly but also clearly overwhelmed. We only came here because our favorite steakhouse in Vail was booked and won’t be coming back.
The menu is priced like a gourmet restaurant but the environment is closer to a sports bar.
There are better options for casual dining in Vail.
Dinner was wonderful. Great Food & Staff.
A very good overall dining experience. We were a party of 4, the food and the service was very good.
Our server was wonderful with our kids!
Did not offer us dessert /coffee.
Easy for folks staying in Lionshead to get to for dinner. The Lamb and strip steaks were perfectly cooked and flavorful. Wine selection was broad but seemed steep.
We loved it. Such a nice vibe. Excellent live music from Reid.
Steak was not cooked properly; wait staff was inattentive (we had a spill and had to clean it up and get new silverware on our own); poor wine recommendations; all around disappointing experience for a Vail steakhouse.
Service was wonderful! A large party was sat behind us shortly after we received out drinks. The server gave us the option of ordering before she tended to that table for their drink order. Food was great, as always.
The waiteress was the BEST! Loved her sense of humor and she was very efficient!
Everything was great except our waiter. We had a group of 11 and celebrating a birthday and he was rude and made snarky comments when asked questions.
There was a private party so we were in a small space in the back which took away from ambience and view. Also, don't usually send food back but had to with steak as ordered medium and was very overcooked and dry.
we are going again
Food was excellent, seafood real fresh, service was professional and courteous.
Very good ski town steakhouse.
Food was great! Waiter excellent. The hamburger was juicy and tasty. Truffle fries were perfect and almost addicting. Steak was cooked to perfection and the remaining sides were better than expected.
Food was just Okay. Order a bone in ribeye and was highly disappointed. Truly understand why it has been rated at 4.2 I would rate it a 3.9
Our meals were great! The food was very tasty, served hot. Service was very good.
Buen servicio y la comida bien servída
Birthday dinner for my wife
The waiter would come up to the table and verbalize how many oysters I still had. Felt pressured to order and keep things moving despite spending $200 for two adults and two kids to sit in a weird little feeding room with all the other families. Finally told him it’s the weekend and I’m on vacation. The food we had was fine but kids burger sucked. Just not a relaxed vail level dinner place. Bathroom was unkempt. If you want to enjoy a nice dinner, look elsewhere. Just not a Vail dinner level place. Better for lunch.
I have eaten here three times. Always a great experience. Food is great. Location couldn't be better. Great for dinner or Apre ski.
We had reservations and we checked in and the host said it will be a few minutes. After 30 minutes I asked him when are we going to be seated since the restaurant was half empty, he said he forgot we were there and complained how stressed he was at work. God was excellent none the less.
On vacation and wanted a steak. Had the Bone-in ribeye and it was excellent. It is expensive but we knew that going in. Seating is a little crowded but not inconvenient. Would recommend this if you want a good steak with casual ambiance.
Fun place! Streak was extremely good. Service was very friendly! Have eaten here before and will eat there again.
Nos sentaton en una mesa chica! La cambiaron por nuestro pedido. La comida no estuvo bien! El ceviche no saben prepararlo. Las papas trufadas muy ricas!
We watched the superbowl there and it was the perfect spot for this.
To be honest, we did not stay. I’d made note that this was our anniversary. We were seated by the band, not in the dining area and by a table that was about to seated with 20 people. Looking over the menu and the ambiance, the two did not meet. We were looking for something with a bit more ambiance and decided to search out another place to dine.
Great food and excellent service, but the layout is difficult to support a "nice" dinner. Having to walk through the crowded bar area (with live music and loud talkers until after 7pm)) to get to the dining area was a bit of an inconvenience, especially when you consider that you are paying top prices. But again, great food and excellent service, just be prepared to not have a quiet meal!
Great steakhouse in Vail. Expensive but worth it. Service and surroundings great, menu as you would expect, steaks came out as ordered, delicious filets and truffle fries, ended with the salted caramel cheesecake. One of the best meals we had all week.
The bar service and atmosphere were very good. The bartender was knowledgeable and personable and made good recommendations.
The service was good and responsive. Nice quiet atmosphere conducive to talking with friends.
I’ll go back next year.
Fried chicken is fantastic.
While the food and service were good, the restaurant was incredibly loud, both near the bar and in the back room where we were seated. This restaurant is more of a sports bar than fine dining environment, with large groups (one group had 16 and another had 8). Too noisy and too pricey for what you’re getting.
Great apre ski destination in Lyons Head. Service and ambience is perfect.
Shared a dozen oysters with my daughter, a dirty martini for me, and filets for each of us. All good! Service great. Expensive but similar to most high end steak houses.
Skiing trip with friends Food and service ok. Not special. Probably better upscale places. More satisfying and fun inexpensive places to go
