View Private Dining DetailsGood attentive service and flavorful cuisine. Kudos to the chef & his staff.
Food was pretty good. Table was huge, so the group had trouble conversing across it.
Talked with staff about food for best dishes and they were great
Customer at bar told me Steak meat suboptimal but cooked as asked
Other dishes I watched go by not so good - lamb bombs
Martini self order good
Seafood Stew “CIO——-“ very good”
I would say a tired restaurant with a few good dishes if you ask and a captive hotel clientele
Not a “go to restaurant in a hotel”
You get clients for convenience - a captive audience- but your good dishes are great so why not up your game - I am a conference goer in Orlando for over 30 years/ if the total product was good I would return Year after year
Do you think about that as a business model?
Outstanding experience!!
Great service.
Excellent food.
Great service (we were in a hurry); quiet setting (great for business), food is good.
Get the seafood sampler.
This restaurant was practically empty on Valentine's day. The guitar player was a nice touch but the restaurant was very sterile when he took his breaks.
The food was average especially for a menu that seemed to be adventurous. My opinion is that the prices are way to high for the meal you receive.
I was disappointed with the service. The server did not seem to be happy to be working and was just going through the motions.
I also was not happy to find out that the restaurant reported me to open table for not showing up for my reservation when I did in fact dine there. Open Table was gracious enough to get back with the restaurant.
Also don't forget to get your parking validate or you will be paying $25 for parking. The hostess and server did not mention this. I luckily thought to ask.
The hostess was very rude, waitress was absent, and food was just ok, most of it was bland and lacked a wow factor I expect for the price. This was a $12 meal not a $30 meal.
Food was excellent. Come with a big appetite because portions were huge. Specializes in seafood which excellent. Hotel restaurant atmosphere. Parking was not easy to find and was quite a walk to get to. Located in Hayatt so the atmosphere was more business/hotel. It wasn’t crowded by any means but we were seated next to the cash register so we had constant wait staff traffic. Overall a good place if you want good seafood.
Dinner style, good service.
We sat at the bar for our meal Kim was fantastic! Perfect service great attitude highly recommend it.
As we were there on Christmas Day, the place was not busy. Our server was excellent, explaining the specials and taking our order promptly. The food was well prepared and delicious. Would definitely go back if in the area.
I have been going to this restaurant for a few years now and it changes every time. I liked it better when it was Napa. The ambiance was and felt more upscale and exclusive. Now It feels kind of like a Chili's or applebees.
I was very disappointed with the menue, food quality and high price. needs a major improvemebt
Fine for a hotel restaurant
Two lunch meetings in a row with horrible service and tasteless food. Won't go back.
Tropical salad is very good (the dressing and toppings)The lettuce is pretty hard to eat. Great service though. Great ambiance
My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency for the ACG convention and were THRILLED with Urban tide. Not only was the food outstanding, but the cocktails were unique and tasty! I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are staying at the Hyatt, or just looking for a top-notch meal experience!
Wonderful waiter!!
Great service
I enjoyed the unique cocktails and selection of local seafood small plates at Urban Tide. On top of that, the service was exceptional.
Slow service and food had to be sent back to kitchen 3 times to get the correct order
Slow and poor service. Asked waiter 3 times for water, never brought.
I think the only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because nobody is perfect. However, I came here while visiting Orlando and what a find! I would imagine it's usually very busy and loud in this very large restaurant with a club type atmosphere, nestled in a Hyatt hotel. But I caught it on a slow night during the week, so probably had special attention. The cheddar biscuits are to die for! I doubt they could be better elsewhere. The appetizer I had was brisket in a skillet with queso fresco and tomato, and little corn muffin tops on the side. It was large enough for an entree. But the entree of salmon, mashed yucca, and asparagus was just as wonderful. Everything was savory and had a great combination of flavor. A dessert that came with the special menu was a dark chocolate covered mini cake with peach and chocolate mousse inside. The meal was a gastronomic delight. The service was great, but again, a very slow night. Prices were average for the meal, but the Magical menu was the best, with a 3 course meal for about the same price as an entree on the regular menu and the portions are the same. A must try for sure. If I dare visit Orlando again, Urban Tide will be on the list.
Casual atmosphere with excellent food and service! Very large portions for a restaurant of this type in this area! Excellent value, great selections with a depth of flavor and texture in each dish!
Must have the Grouper Cheeks appetizer!!!
Urban Tide is now one of my favorite restaurant. Customer service was amazing, food was great. I highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion.
Food was delicious. Portions were ample and the service was wonderful.
Food selection was limited, service was inconsistent and overall experience was not memorable
The waitress was amazing. The hostess that was on duty when lunch started was flustered and made us wait to be seated when the dining room was basically empty. It was weird.
Consistent food quality and service each time I visit.
I ordered a half dozen raw oysters that the server said were brought in from Connecticut. For an appetizer costing a whopping $18, I expected some rather spectacular oysters! The ones that were delivered to the table were disappointingly tiny, one so small that I was sure it was the residue left after the oyster was removed from the shell. I pointed it out to the server, not wanting to be critical of her because she was an excellent waitress. But I mentioned it so that she could tell the chef. Minutes later, she did return with three extra oysters, but still very small in size. My mom and I each had a salad that was delicious, but everything we ordered (except the cheddar biscuits) was pretty much overpriced.
Terrific Flavor of the food.very unique menu.We loved the entire evening.
Our server was great.
Service was good. Food was absolutely exceptional. Wine list was decent and of good value. I would certainly return and recommend. Ask to not be in a busy part of the restaurant.
This joint was in our hotel. If it wasn't for the fact that the managaer and waitress were so nice I would have given it a lower rating. Food was horrible. Sent back a dish (chicken too dry). And another friend sent their back as food came out cold. I feel bad leaving a lower review as the place did try their best to take care of us but even with excellent service if food isn't right it's hard to praise. I will say this, desserts are limited BUT there is another place I hotel that serves amazing desserts and the waiter and manager did bring us an array of desserts from this other place. So they do try hard to make things right. Might give them one more chance.
Interesting dish combinations.
Good service by Katherine and the salmon dish with crab meat was amazing!
We were in town for a convention and staying at this hotel (Hyatt Regency Orlando), and we chose this restaurant for convenience to have lunch with a local relative. We did not want to wander too far because time was constrained, so we chose this place not having high expectations. However, we were pleasantly surprised.
It is located a level down from the lobby in a quiet corner with a view out to the garden and pool. The offerings are imaginative and tasty, and the service efficient and attentive. We had a great lunch.
We had a business lunch and a business dinner here. The food is well prepared, but it just seems unimaginative--that is true of Florida in general, though. The lunch salads were good. For dinner, I had shrimp and grits, but it lacked a light touch--the cheese was just sprinkled on the grits like breakfast grits. The service was good, and the value was pretty good for a hotel restaurant. We were surprised that the restaurant was half empty for dinner, given that it's a 1600-room hotel.
Food was average. I had dirty silverware at my place setting
Business meeting. The bathrooms were filthy I can only imagine the kitchen
We had a very enjoyable business oriented dinner for 5. Our server was attentive without hovering and the food was well prepared and enjoyable.
